Midoriya Izuku. Age twelve. Last seen Thursday morning, wearing his school uniform, when he came over to his friend’s house so the two kids could walk to school together. He never returned that night.

He doesn’t want to be here anymore; he’s cold, he’s tired and he’s hungry. Izuku really hopes that they’ll let him go home soon. He misses Kacchan, but more importantly, he misses his mom.
He misses his mom so much it hurts.
He just wants someone to save him.

Izuku always thought having a quirk was going to make his life easier. Maybe then people would have wanted to be friends with him. Maybe his teachers would have praised him more. He wouldn’t have been an easy target for the others.
He always felt like he was jealous of everyone. Everyone else had quirks. Everyone else was praised. Everyone else was listened to. Everyone else had been given a fair chance. Everyone else was put on a pedestal.
All while he was left in an underground shelter for days.
But the teen has realized recently, that it hasn’t been a quirk he was wishing so hard for.

“But I know you. I know that three years ago you were assigned a missing child case that the police couldn’t solve and that they asked for you specifically. I know that you got a lot of civilians and other pros involved in it, you reinterviewed everyone and retraced every step. I know that you found out that the mother of the kid was killed months prior and he was living on his own and no one had done anything about it. I know that you raided the kid’s middle school and found nothing. I have to hand it to you, I was impressed by your drive at first. You were nearly hellbent on finding him.”
