Neil has this friend that's crazy interested in his best friend, Andrew. He thinks he's smart, talented, funny, handsome - but despite what Neil says, Andrew doesn't seem the slightest bit interested in meeting this guy whatsoever. Even his friends all think this friend isn't compatible with Andrew, and it gets to the point where Neil himself starts believing it's true.
The only problem is...there is no 'friend'. Or rather, the 'friend' is Neil.

To be honest, Andrew is still surprised this is happening to him. After all, he’d only accepted the stupid deal so that Aaron would be brave enough to ask Katelyn out. He hadn’t expected Neil to bother speaking to him, much less say yes.
But now, here he is. About to go on a date with Neil Josten – one of the most mysterious, popular, and drop-dead gorgeous kids in his school.
It’s the best day of Andrew’s life – isn’t it? Because the hardest part is over. Now he gets to enjoy a date with the very boy he’s been crushing on for the past two years. A date that just happens to be the first one he’s had in his entire life.
