    I just read this for the first time, and WOW. 😭 It works so well with their dynamic, Vox being so hungry for his attention and emulating him. Both of their thoughts around Vox forcing himself to eat people even though it makes him sick and he can never get used to it are next level. Alastor pretending he doesn't notice and acting disappointed to keep pushing him further?? 😩

      Thanks so much for taking the time to comment here as well! ;w; <33 Yess the whole thing that first grabbed me was how much SENSE it'd make for Vox to be the neglected son -- hating his father's absence but craving his attention, and all that bitterness instantly forgotten the second he does have Alastor's approval & regard. It works SO well for them! And yesss all the manipulation around cannibalism..... Alastor is awful *dreamy sigh*
