    Love this. Love the cultural differences, love the characterisation, love the reflections on dunamancy - the crawl back into the cocoon thing is gonna stick with me for a bit.

      There are a lot of reasons why Caleb might notice but choose not to respond to flirtations -- but for certain, anyone who wants to Woo the Wizard is going to have to bring their intellectual a-game. :)
