Comment on The Statistical Improbability of Belonging

  1. Oh my god Tim's talk with steph was fucking halarious but what i appreciate the most is Tim's inner monologue. It's so him it's crazy "his heart rate spiking to a brisk 110 BPM" only you Tim would go for an actual heartrate and saying brisk oh god im in love XD i actually read the dialog out loud because i loved it so much. And each character has a different voice even when i don't try because their dialog is just like that

Oh god! Jason and Tim's first sentences to each other are pure gold! They're so them is almost painful! The way they refer to things and the way they articulate their sentences! God your story is so! Characterized! I love it so much

I've never read the great gabsey but you make it sound so intresting! Which Makes sense because Jason is really passionate about it and i love how you can translate that so well. You might find the great gabsey a huge bore but Jason likes it so he would make it sound Hella intresting. Hmm... or i guess it's the opposite? Jason likes it because you like it. I mean you could give him any book to read but you chose this one. The way the characters talk about the book and the main character of that book is so intresting

    1. Thank you so much, I put a lot of effort into making sure each character had their own voice and that they were characterized in very different ways, so that definitely means a lot!! I wanted to be able to imagine these characters actually thinking and talking like this.

I personally loved the Great Gatsby and some of the story's theme is definitely inspired by it. It's a great read, I definitely recommend it. But I definitely chose them to do the Gatsby because of the parallels to the fic, which will be shown later in it. I also think Jason could make any book sound like a masterpiece tho lol.
