I guess that I am convinced that providing your younger brother (or child) with a gay book is an act of love and responsible parenting lol. The power of books! ...Also, I imagine Jonathan as thinking about having to give Will the gay sex talk and deciding nope, he's just buying a book - no matter how embarrassing that'll be still better than the alternative of having to look Will in the eye and explaining these things XD
