        I definitely enjoy both POVs as a reader. Your characterization was great last time, so I am sure you'll do Mike justice. It must be fun to get into their heads as a writer. They have some similarities, but the way they approach life in general is so different from one another.

          They're very different! Will was older and, despite all the trauma, much more emotionally mature, nuanced, and receptive. Mike here is young so prone to absolute thinking, traumatized in a different way than Will was, struggling with feeling anything at all (or allowing himself to), especially in these first chapters. But the fun of it is that he gets to have a whole different kind of emotional journey, one that I really loved going on with him. I adore Mike as a character and I tried to do my very best by him <3
