    i'm happy to provide some comfort after the questionable ending of 3.7 :'DD. and yeah! i somehow tend to include some game mechanics if it feels relevant to the story, and in this one i was walking around the exotale like ".....there are no houses. it's just one path. there's no space for npcs to go to when we don't see them and yet we circle through them while the heirs are always here", so i'd feel off if i didn't mention it in the fic itself ahh. but they do appear, and they are all people the heirs thought they would never see again, so i imagine it'd be more of a "don't ask questions you don't want answers to" situation since it's already a little too good to be true for them

    i have a soft spot for castorice and cipher! since their very first interaction, though i wasn't really able to include them in my fics so far, so i'm glad i got an opportunity for it hahah. mn, i wish phainon's efforts and trauma got addressed more :(. we literally see him deteriorated as flame reaver, we watch as he completely snaps in a fight against nanook and even cuts off a body part, like?? suddenly he's all fine and dandy, okay then. i'm gonna miss ampho so badly too, i don't think i'll ever be as invested in hsr again orz. truly a godly ship and "planet"
