    I learned a whole new creature today which was such a fun rabbit hole to go down but ALSO.

    This is so beautifully written. Ah, my heart aches and is so interested in this AU in general. I want to chew on it, the implications of it. The fact that Xiu Ya is secretly Cucumber - her changing when Shen Yuan Transmigrated because OF COURSE. OF COURSE she would, she is his soul.

    A bright and curious thing, ah. There's something so perfect for that.

    And Xin Mo, poor Xin Mo - it's so sad to see how Luo Binghe's self-hatred shows in this. There's something about the manifestation of souls this way that really just gets me. Like you are hating yourself. You are calling yourself a monster. You cannot separate yourself from your own SOUL.

    Aggggh.

    This really was beautifully done. 10/10
