The thing that comes out of the tooth barely looks alive. It is living only enough to have been able to play its game against the Toymaker, a pulped tangle of muscle and blood, of skin and sinew. It arches toward the Doctor, sightlessly, like a dying plant straining for the sun. Its sense of him, of where and who and what he is, as sharp as ever.
