Smubbles
Smubbles started in November 2022 with an idea to yeet a bunch of short-form porn onto AO3 in a short time period. It was so much fun that we thought we'd do it on a regular basis.
"Smubbles" is a portmanteau of "smut" and "drabbles", but we welcome all kinds of content, no matter the rating or word count.
This collection serves as a parent collection to aggregate past and future smubbles events. Subcollections will generally open at an early (NZ/Aussie) timezone and go off-anon once most timezones have left the stated time frame. They will stay open to accept further works indefinitely.

What's a drabble?
For smubbles we're using the definition that a drabble is a ficlet of exactly 100 words. Similarly, a "double drabble" is a ficlet of exactly 200 words, a "triple drabble" is 300 words, etc.
Do I have to keep to the 100-word limit?
Nope, it's a fun thing to try but you are more than welcome to post works of whatever length you like :)
Do I have to post smut?
Also no! Smut is encouraged but not required, we're just here to have a good time :D
Can I create visual art and other things that are not fic(let)s?
Absolutely, please do!
Are smubbles limited to particular fandoms or relationships?
Again also no! (If there's an over-representation of Witcher content it's because a lot of people who initially got involved in this idea knew each other from Witcher fandom, but please do feel free to join in with any fandom!

Can I create content ahead of time for upcoming smubbles?
Hey if it means we get more fanworks, absolutely go for it!
When will the subcollections open?
We mods are human, so each subcollection will open at some point once the first timezones have hit the stated open date. Delays may happen, but we will post on tumblr once the collection is open.
When will the subcollections go off anon?
Subcollections will usually go off anon once most timezones have left the stated period, though exact times will vary according to the availability of the mods.
