Jay remembers when it first happened, he had whimpered and ungracefully headbutted Jake off of him out of pure pain instinct, staring at the faint indentations of teeth marks on his tanned shoulder with red cheeks and wide eyes. “Did you just bite me?”
Or, Jake has a problem, and Jay doesn't think he can handle another disappointed-mom look from the stylist noonas as they desperately try to cover up all the bite marks and bruises he accumulates because he can't seem to just say no to his spoiled puppy of a boyfriend. But finally, one night he thinks of a genius alternative!
His lower back, self-dignity, and somehow his wallet all hate him for it. But that was just the price of true love sometimes, you know?
(Jay also finds out that when Jake can't bite, he'll find other ways to make Jay's life hard. Because why wouldn't he?)

“You’re making that face again,” Sunghoon says, shoving at Jay to break him out of his stupor.
“What face?” Jay grumpily asks, rubbing a tired hand over his face to clear his expression into something much more neutral.
“That ugly face you make when you’re jealous because Jake isn’t paying attention to you,” Sunghoon says, causing Heeseung to snicker from beside him.
Or, Jay breaks up with Jake, but Jake isn't one to let go (and maybe Jay isn't, either).

It’s ridiculous because Jongseong is on the verge of his twenty sixth birthday and he really shouldn’t be acting this way. His adolescence was supposed to be long gone, buried somewhere deep in the trenches of his brain with his teenage angst and growing pains.
So it really doesn’t make any sense that he feels like a raging hormonal pubescent teen whenever he looks at Jake.

Jake is pulling into the pit lane with an ease only an experienced driver like him could do, calm and unbothered as ever. Sunghoon might kill him, but he has more important matters to tend to.

Jake sees pretty brown narrowed eyes coming closer and knows he’s exactly where he wants to be. He quickly takes his helmet off with an eager smile, deliberately ignoring the frantic shouts coming through his helmet radio. Yup, Sunghoon is definitely going to kill him.

“ugh, yeah it’s…just my car.” jay struggled to get the words out. his english wasn’t bad or anything, maybe a little rusty, but it’s the heat’s fault! definitely not because of the excruciatingly hot guy before him.
the australian waits for him to explain further, though his gaze was anywhere but some janky dead car. in fact, the man finds his eyes lingering on the faded outline of a sunflower tattoo, placed right above a delicate collarbone. oh, that’s cute. finally, he asks, “ya’ car not working?”
jay pouted, which seemed to be enough of an answer. "well, good thing you caught me when you did. nobody uses these roads anymore.”
that seemed to snap jay from his stupor. “say what now?”
basically, jay runs away and gets saved by australian dick.
