Summary
Panic.
Loans from criminals only bring disasters upon oneself. Still, owing a mob -in Jiang Cheng's eyes,- was more suitable than having to face the consequences of disappointing his parents. So he threw himself into the wolf's mouth willingly.
He could only hope Lan XiChen wouldn't kill him.

Summary
In a society that caters to the whims of alphas and omegas, Jiang Cheng is a beta. All he wants is to work hard, save money, and get on with his life. Unfortunately, this is impossible to do, when his work day is constantly disrupted by heats, ruts, and marital disagreements being aired in public! For one, his poor omega boss, Chu Wanning, can't seem to catch a break from his controlling, alpha husband, Mo Ran. Can't a beta get some peace around here?
And of course, there's the Lan Xichen problem. The attractive, flirtatious managing director who can't seem to leave him alone. There's also the latest omega temp in his team, who seems to have developed a crush on him. Jiang Cheng never signed up for all this. He doesn't want to date, especially not alphas or omegas, so why does he find himself warming to Lan Xichen?
(This is a crossover fic, but you don't need to have read 2ha to read this!)

Summary
Jiang Cheng stared blankly at the horrendously ugly item.
Was that…a tapir? Yes, he suspected it was. Trust Wei Wuxian to have such horrid taste. Jiang Cheng scoffed and read over the note again—and what were these instructions?
Use this incense burner to ensure sweet dreams (next to which was his brother’s favorite doodle: two people kissing)
Only use when alone!!!
How ridiculous. Wei Wuxian probably purchased this from some charlatan witch doctor on the street. Heavens knew what it was supposed to do nor what it actually did—if anything.
Rolling his eyes, Jiang Cheng threw away the note, then stuck the incense burner in a random spot on his bookcase where it would remain until he decided to throw it out.
He had nearly forgotten all about the stupid gift until Lan Xichen visited a few weeks later.
AKA Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen encounter the incense burner and fun times ensue
