Crowley's skill as a healer often made him an outcast, so he left to study in far off places. When he returned with new knowledge, he still struggled to find acceptance and became a barber/surgeon, the only opportunity open to him. When he meets Aziraphale, the monk and scholar thinks he is just another fraud until he experiences Crowley's healing talent first hand. Gabriel, Aziraphale's older brother and the renowned White Knight, holds great tournaments of skill. Knights travel from far off places to test their mettle including Newton Pulsifer and the mysterious Black Knight. Loosely inspired by the film, The Physician.
