“It’s like you’re trying to torture me before deleting me.” Johnny’s engram had followed V to the bike, and she had swung her leg over it and sat down before he’d finished his rant.
V was ready to tell Johnny that was not her intent but realized something else. “Are you jealous I’m spending time with Judy?” she called him out.
“No, I’m not jealous. Johnny Silverhand doesn’t get fuckin’ jealous.”
V snorted at him. “Are we talking about ourselves in the third person now?” He flipped her the bird, but V kept talking. “You sound goddamn jealous.”
“Wouldn’t have told you to fuck her if I was,” Johnny insisted. His engram had a cigarette in his cyborg hand, and he was pacing back and forth in front of the motorcycle V was perched on.
“Not about that. You’re jealous that I’m spending time with her. I’m giving her more attention than I am to you,” V smirked and could already guess that Johnny would deny what she was saying.
