He goes out into the pouring rain in search for his beloved, only to find Flins on the cliff by the lighthouse.

A dead end ahead of him, his unprotected back towards whoever is following him. Perfect for an ambush - and no sooner than he has the thought does the shadow on his heels attack. Flins doesn't panic nor does he resist when a gloved hand grabs him tightly by the shoulder, turning him around and slamming him backwards into the stone wall with force.
"State your business," the figure demands, clipped.
Flins lightly cocks his head. “Might I remove the lantern from my belt to show my face?,” he asks instead of answering and there's another beat of charged silence, then a nod.
Behind the crystalline glass the fire flickers as though alive, blue flames illuminating his features as he lifts it high.
A sharp breath.
“Flins?!”
