Ukraine stretched his arms, biting back a big yawn while rolling his tensed shoulders. Having been tending to his errands the entire day, the nation was thoroughly tired after his trip back home. He nudged the door closed behind him with his boot, peeking his head over the corner to look into the living room.
There sat decoratively Poland on the couch, flipping through a random magazine with an open packet of paluszki on the coffee table. Ukraine smiled to himself, walking to the kitchen before putting down his items that he had collected down on the dining table.
"Poland," he called, "I'm home!" He could hear a shuffle come from the other room, followed by Poland exclaiming for him to join him in the living room. Maintaining his grin, the nation shifted out the kitchen, making his way to stand over the couch the other was laying on.
"I didn't expect you to be back so early." The Pole grabbed at Ukraine's scarf, pulling him down to peck at his cheek. The nation blushed, looking to the side. The Ukrainian shoved his boots off, moving to sit on the couch with Poland. The other pushed himself up, giving room for his partner to take a seat before moving to lean against the broad shoulder of the other.
Ukraine looked down at the now abandoned magazine, reading the cover while his partner reached to begin playing to the frayed ends of his scarf.
"How has your day been?" the Ukrainian asked, "Since I have left, I mean." Poland looked up, a smile of his own spreading across his lips. The smaller blond moved in place while keeping his hands to fiddle with the other's scarf.
"Well, I slept for a bit, made breakfast, and didn't, like, feel like watching anything so I just took this magazine I found in my room and read it," he said, his chin resting on Ukraine's shoulder, "It was so boring! I'm happy you're back though." He added.
The Ukrainian nodded, leaning into the Pole's touch. While Poland continued to blabber on about what had read in the magazine, Ukraine could not help but notice the small crumbs of paluszki on the side of his partner's mouth.
The man huffed in amusement before leaning to kiss Poland, reaching with one hand to cup his cheek and in the process scraping off the crumbs. The other had come to an abrupt stop once this had happened, where he blinked for a few moments before his face flushed. Ukraine broke the kiss. "Sorry for interrupting you-"
Ukraine was caught off guard, he himself getting interrupted when Poland pressed his body closer against his, pressing his face into the man's shoulder. The Pole nuzzled against him, making the Ukrainian giggle in wonder of what his partner was doing, and partly because he was still riding the high of embarrassment of such the bold move he had done.
"What the heck was that for?" Poland murmured, burying his face into the fabric of Ukraine's scarf.
"You had crumbs on your face; I was just removing them." Ukraine admitted. The smaller blond looked at the other for a good second before shifting upwards, pressing his lips more tenderly to the Ukrainian's.
They shuffled in their spot on the couch, pecking at each other's lips before Poland toppled over, his back now laying against the surface of the couch, Ukraine on top of him.
"Kocham cię..." Poland mumbled as Ukraine leaned down once again, closing his eyes.
