Never Underestimate Ninjas
Chapter 1
One Piece World
Edward Newgate aka Whitebeard, also known as Pops stared at the newspaper in his hands, shaking in rage.
“Portgas D. Ace is set to be executed in a two weeks!”
His son, not by blood, Portgas D. Ace was captured by a former brother/son, Marshall D. Teach/Blackbeard and turned over Ace the Navy and now Ace was facing execution.
His former son betrayed them by attempting to kill Thatch for the fruit that Thatch found but his plans were foiled by Tsunade Senju, Shizune, and Jiraiya. Whitebeard remembers it like it was yesterday, even though it was 2 years ago. No knows how those three plus their pet pig showed up but he was glad that they did.

A bloodcurdling scream sounded through the night air on the Moby Dick that sent everyone running from their rooms.
They made it to the top deck and they all stared in horror and disbelief as the one that they thought of as a brother/son stood over a severely injured Thatch, who was close to becoming unconscious to the asshole that was cackling like a deranged lunatic was Marshall D. Teach.
“HAHAHAHAHA. I finally got the fruit I’ve been looking for the last 20 years. I got the Yami-Yami Fruit and there is nothing that you can do about it, Pops.” Teach said.
He dodged a fist that was made of fire thrown at him. His first mate, Jesus Burgess, tried to use his Galleon Lariat but was blocked by Haruta and Diamond Jozu.
“Instead of attacking me, don’t you think it would best if you try and save your precious brother, Commander Ace.” Teach said.
He viciously taunted his former family/crew while his new crew cheered him on, not one of them knew they were being watched by three people and a pig. These people were known as Shizune, Tonton, Tsunade Senju, and Jiraiya.
“Lady Tsunade, we need to help them. What can we do? That man is going to die if we don’t do something.” Shizune said.
“I know Shizune. If we do it, we better do it right. What we need is to get that fruit away from that idiot.” Tsunade said. “Jiraiya, got any ideas?”
“Yeah. I got one. I’m going to summon a toad that will grab the fruit and bring it to us. After that, we will give it to them to decide what they want to do with it.” Jiraiya said as he summoned one of the many toads of Mount Myoboku.
“Now, watch as I eat the very fruit that could destroy you all if I wanted to." Teach cackled again as he brought it the fruit up to his mouth and went to go bite into, the fruit had disappeared when a pink tongue came out of nowhere to snatch it which was promptly given to Tsunade to hold onto.
Teach stared at his hands in disbelief.
The disappearance of the fruit stunned everyone except for Teach. He was furious and so was his crew.
“WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY FRUIT OLD MAN. I DEMAND TO KNOW!” Teach demanded furiously.
Whitebeard wanted to ignore him and focus on his injured son and not his former son.
“Marco, get the nurses so that they can work on saving Thatch.” Whitebeard said. Marco did what he was told.
“Don’t ignore me old man! Tell me what did you my fruit!!” Teach demanded.
“Yeah!” Burgess said as well.
Whitebeard turned his attention back to his former son and his son’s cronies and was about to respond to him when a female voice sounded from behind them, in the very shadows that hid Teach mere moments ago when he attacked Thatch. Those shadows were behind the Whitebeard Pirates.
Everyone turned and stared into the spot where the voice were coming from. They were stunned to see to see three people standing on the roof where they all go down to the mess hall to eat while Teach was furious. Teach noticed that Tsunade held up the fruit that belonged to him.
“You mean this ugly fruit.” Tsunade said as she held it in her hands.
Teach stared at her in anger.
“That is my fruit. I demand that you give it to me now.” Teach demanded.
“No.” Tsunade said in defiance.
As Teach fumed in anger and frustration when Tsunade denied him his fruit, one of his lesser crew members tried to shoot Tsunade who saw the move coming and gave the fruit to Jiraiya and took the bullet.
Jiraiya and Shizune with Tonton jumped down to where Marco, Izou, and Ace were standing at, which was by their father. They all stared at them in horror.
“Who are you people and why are you here?” Marco asked/ demanded.
“Yeah! Why aren’t you mad at the idiot that shot your friend?” Ace asked in curiosity.
Jiraiya and Shizune smirked and pointed to the spot where Tsunade was “shot” and to everyone’s surprise, there was nothing but smoke.
The Black Beard Pirates cheered as Teach was still angry that the woman disappeared with his fruit but he then noticed it was now with the male of the foursome.
“Give me the fruit or you will end up like your friend there.” Teach demanded.
“Hmm, how about no and you might wanna duck.” Jiraiya said.
“Dodge what?” The same idiot that shot Tsunade said.
Jiraiya smirked and so did Shizune and they both pointed to the other side of the idiot as a giant oar came out of nowhere and the same idiot that said, “dodge what?” and he promptly sent flying into the night air with terrifying scream.
On the end of that oar was a very much alive and uninjured Tsunade. This stuns everyone except for Shizune and Jiraiya. They were trained for this kind of stuff.
Tsunade drops the oar and appears by Jiraiya and Shizune.
“Boss, what should we do now? There is no way we can fight them.” Burgess said.
Teach hymn-hawed and decided against attacking them. They could defeat him and his crew.
“We escape but not before injuring more people.” Teach said.
Unbeknownst to Teach’s crew, there was someone listening to them.
Jiraiya looked at the kid that was surrounded by fire that looked like he wasn’t hurting him and him for his name.
“Hey flaming kid, what’s your name?” Jiraiya asked.
“Portgas D. Ace. Now who are you people?” Ace asked.
“I am the most Holy Hermit Sage of Mount Myoboku Toads. Otherwise known as the Toad Sage, Master Jiraiya. Pleased to meet ya.” Jiraiya said as he did his ridiculous dance until a fist came out of nowhere and slammed on his head, which knocked him to the floor, face first.
The fist mentioned belonged to Tsunade who stared at Jiraiya in frustration.
“Will you stop being an idiot, idiot. My name is Tsunade Senju.” Tsunade said.
“Nice to meet you all. I’m Shizune and this is Tonton.” Shizune said as Tonton oinked his hello.
“They seem to be discussing a plan to harm more people before they leave.” Jiraiya said as he stood up after Tsunade hit him.
“And how do you know that? My name is Izo. Commander of the 16th division of the Whitebeard Pirates.” Izo said.
“Because this idiot is good at what he does for the information that he gives to our village.” Tsunade said.
“What does he do then?” Ace asked in curiosity.
“We still don’t know how or why we came but I believe it was to save him but as for what Jiraiya does is to gather information for our village and it’s thanks to his spy network.” Tsunade said as she pointed at Thatch, referencing the saving him part.
“HE’S A SPY!!! ARE YOU WORKING FOR THE MARINES????” Ace demanded.
“No you dipshit. She, meaning Tsunade, just said we are not from here and now I believe were sent here for the sole purpose of saving your brother.” Shizune said as she rolled her eyes.
Ace stared at Shizune with an offended look on his face while his crew/brothers snickered at him.
“My name is Marco the Phoenix, first mate of the Whitebeard Pirates and head doctor of the 1st Division. Now Miss Shizune, you mentioned that you were sent here for a reason and that reason was to save my brother?” Marco asked in disbelief.
“Yes. I believe we were sent here to save him.” Shizune said as she pointed to a still bleeding Thatch.
“Speaking of that, nurses prepare to move Thatch to the medical bay.” Marco said.
One of the nurses spoke up.
“Marco, we can’t move him. He’ll bleed out before we can make it to the OR in the medical bay.” A nurse said.
Before he could respond, Tsunade’s sounded and she sounded furious.
“You call yourself a nurse. I don’t know how it works in this world but in my world, I take my oath and duty as a medical ninja seriously. I have trained Shizune, my deceased lover’s niece, into the medic ninja she is today.” Tsunade said but she did not turn around to address the nurse who said what she said.
That said nurse, stared down at her feet in guilt.
“Shizune, help them while me and Jiraiya help these guys out.” Tsunade said.
“Yes my lady.” Shizune said as she placed Tonton down who then promptly went to stay in the corner by a barrel.
Shizune moved towards the fallen Thatch and kneeled down and moved part of her kimono up and grabbed a syringe that held an anesthetic.
“What’s that? My name is Tate. Head nurse of the crew.” Tate said.
“Nice to meet you. This syringe holds an anesthetic that will put him in temporary coma while I heal him. Administering the anesthetic now. Please keep an eye on him and gentleman, protect us.” Shizune said.
Tate and the others nodded.
Shizune went through the hand signs for the Mystical Palm technique and her hands started to glow a faint green. Tate interrupted her.
“Your hands are green and they look to be on fire.” Tate said in astonishment and the others stared in amazement.
Shizune laughed a little.
“I’m a medical ninja. This is what we use to heal the wounded and it’s what made my lady famous.” Shizune said.
“Made her famous how? My name is Haruta.” Haruta said.
“In our world, nobody can match her skill healing and her skills to make medicine. Because of the years of training that she had from her own teacher, she has super human strength and can cause serious damage because of her temper.” Shizune said as she began to heal Thatch, who by now was unconscious from the blood loss.
The other nurses, Tate, Haruta, and the other Whitebeard Pirates, including Whitebeard himself, were staring at Shizune as she healed Thatch and to their astonishment and amazement, the wound was slowly closing.
“That is amazing. I have never seen such thing happen in my life time until now.” Tate said.
“Thank you.” Shizune said as finished healing Thatch.
“Now you can move him. He just needs rest and probably a blood transfusion and then he will be fine.” Shizune said. Tate nodded.
“Ok, ladies let’s move him.” Tate said as she and the other nurses moved to carry the unconscious Thatch down to the Medical Bay.
“My lady. Thatch is all healed and was moved to the med bay. He will be fine in a few hours with proper rest and blood.” Shizune said to Tsunade after she stopped next to her.
“Excellent work Shizune.” Tsunade said.
Jiraiya looked at Whitebeard and asked him a question.
“I have a question to ask you. What happens if an uneaten fruit is destroyed?” Jiraiya asked Whitebeard. Whitebeard answers him.
“The fruit will cease to exist in this world and will not reincarnate itself.” Whitebeard said.
“Well, that’s good because Jiraiya is going to destroy it.” Tsunade said.
Teach overheard what Tsunade and Whitebeard had said and he exploded with anger.
“I WON’T LET YOU DESTROY THE ONE THING THAT I HAVE SEARCHED FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS! Teach said.
“Tough shit. I suggest you do it now Jiraiya.” Tsunade said as he nodded his head moved to the edge of the boat.
Jiraiya climbed to the edge of the boat and looked in Teach’s direction with shit eating grin on his face and proceeded to jump off the edge, high into the air and went through a series of hands seals after he bit his thumb and yelled out “Summoning Jutsu.”
A huge puff of smoke covered Jiraiya until Jiraiya was as tall as Whitebeard.
“Why have you summoned me, Jiraiya. Where are we?” a gruff sounded from the smoke.
As the smoke clears, all of the pirates are stunned to see a giant animal standing on the water and it could talk.
“IT’S A GIANT FROG!!!!!!!” Ace exclaimed while Tsunade snickered.
“Gamabunta, ignore him. I need help in destroying this fruit.” Jiraiya said as he held the fruit in front of Gamabunta’s eye.
“Ok bnecause I sense the evil coming from it.” Gamabunta said.
“Ok. Here we go. Watch me, my ugly sir as I destroy this very fruit you are so found of. I’m going to need some oil Bunta.” Jiraiya said as he threw the fruit in the air and went through of hand seals.
“Fire Style: Toad Flame Bomb!” Jiraiya shouted as he released a stream of flames from his mouth and then it connected with the oil from Gamabunta. The combination hit the fruit head on and it kept going until the fruit was completely gone.
Teach let out a strangled scream as he grabbed the nearest gun from one his crew members and tried to shoot Jiraiya but he ultimately missed. He watched as Jiraiya went back to where Tsunade and Shizune were standing at.
“Thanks Bunta. I owe a few barrels of sake.” Jiraiya said.
“I’ll hold you to it. Also Ma and Pa would like to see you when you get back from where we are at.” Gamabunta said before he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Jiraiya landed close to Tsunade. Shizune gave him a pat on his arm. Jiraiya smirked in triumphant after hearing Teach scream in horror at the destruction of the fruit.
“HOW DARE YOU DESTROY MY PRECIOUS FRUIT, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE. I’LL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teach screamed again and was about to attack Jiraiya after he ran towards but had to stop from getting smashed by a giant fist. Courtesy of Whitebeard.
“I suggest you get out of here before you get hurt Teach.” Whitebeard said.
Teach was going to say something but was stopped by one of his crew members.
“Boss, we gotta go. The marines are on their way. Apparently, they saw the flames and want to check it out.” A random crew member said.
“We are out of here Old man. I’ll get my revenge when you least expect it and I’ll get my revenge against you, the one that destroyed my fruit.” Teach said.
Jiraiya’s response was to flip him off.
“Bring it on. I’m pretty sure my future apprentice will fight you.” Jiraiya said.
Teach snarled as one of his crew members threw down a black smoke bomb and they disappeared into the dark night.
Marco was about to go after them when his father stopped him.
“Let him go, son. His day will come.” Whitebeard said.
Whitebeard turned his attention to Tsunade, Shizune, and Jiraiya.
“Thank you for saving my son, even though you stowed away on my ship.” Whitebeard said in gratitude.
“It’s not a problem. My duty and my oath as a medical ninja very seriously. I will not abandon anyone injured except Jiraiya. He’s pervert.” Tsunade said as Jiraiya grinned at her.
“Tsunade, you forgot one thing.” Jiraiya said.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Ace asked. Tsunade and Shizune sighed.
“What I mean is: I’M A SUPER PERVERT! Jiraiya exclaimed as he whipped out a book.
When Tsunade saw it, she growled dangerously.
“Jiraiya, don’t tell me that you brought that trash!?!?!?” Tsunade said in disgust.
“Yup. Would anyone like a copy of it. I got plenty of them.” Jiraiya said as he pulled out more books. Tsunade growled again while promising to kick his ass when they got home and Shizune sighed.
“Come here Tonton.” Shizune said as everyone heard an oink. A pink blur jumped into Shizune’s arms.
“I have so many questions.” Ace said.
“We would like to stay and chat, but I assume you will have unwanted company soon.” Tsunade said as Whitebeard nodded his head.
“Unfortunately. The Marines are a bunch people that think they own this world and that us pirates, should not exist. But I like being free.” Whitebeard said. Ace started grumbling.
“What was that for?” Shizune asked Ace. Ace sighed.
“My little brother’s grandfather wanted me and my two brothers to become Marines instead of pirates. But we defied him by becoming pirates. We follow our own dreams.” Ace said as Tsunade’s face softened a little. Ace reminded her of her little brother, Nawaki, and his dreams.
“As much as I want to swap stories, we should get out of here before they show up.” Jiraiya said. Tsunade nodded her head.
“We should leave a summon here, in case they need our help again.” Tsunade said as Jiraiya nodded his head.
“Good idea. I’ll leave GammaChii here.” Jiraiya said as he knelt down, bit his thumb and summoned three toads in a puff of smoke. These toads were GammaChii, Ma, and Pa.
“Where are we Jiraiya-boy?” An elderly voice sounded from the ground. The smoke cleared and everyone saw three small taods.
“MORE TALKING FROGS!!!” Ace exclaimed again.
He was then promptly hid on head by a wooden spoon. He rubbed the spot on his where he was hit. He grumbled and his brothers snickered.
“Don’t you know how to respect your elders. We are toads, not frogs.” The female toad said.
“Easy Ma. He didn’t know you were a toad, not a frog. As for where we are Pa, I’m not entirely sure. We believe we were sent he for a reason and that was reason was to save one of their fallen brothers and we did save him and destroyed one of their fruits that gives them powers.” Jiraiya said as he to was hit on his head as well. That caused Tsunade and Shizune snickered at Jiraiya’s misfortune.
“Why are we here then?” The one identified as Pa asked.
“We want to leave GammaChii here as a way to contact us if they ever needed our help again, which I have a funny feeling they will.” Jiraiya said.
“Good idea. Tsunade-girl, will you be leaving a summon as well?” Pa asked.
“Yes. I’ll be leaving Katsu.” Tsunade said as she bit her thumb and went through a series of hand signs and slammed her palm on the hardwood of the Moby Dick and yelled out “Summoning Jutsu!”
In a puff of smoke and a gentle female voice sounded from the smoke. When it cleared, everyone was shocked to see a talking slug.
“Do you need my help Lady Tsunade? Where are we, my lady?” The gentle voice sounded.
“Yes I do, Katsu. We are in a different world. We still don’t know how or why we were sent here for a reason. Me and Jiraiya are each leaving a summon in case these guys need our assistance in the future.” Tsunade said.
“Very well Lady Tsunade. I will follow your order.” Katsu said.
“Thank you Katsu.” Tsunade said. Katsu nodded her head.
“First a talking toad and now a talking slug. I have so many questions.” Ace said in curiosity.
The trio laughed.
“If we ever meet again, we will explain how we operate in our world.” Jiraiya said.
“I’ll hold you to it. We will do the same thing. Right, Pops.” Ace asked. Whitebeard nodded his head.
“Jiraiya-boy, we will leave you to it. Good luck.” Pa said as he and Ma poofed away after Jiraiya waved a hand at them.
“GammaChii and Katsu, I will seal you in a summon scroll and their Captain will have the only access, ok?” Jiraiya said. GammaChii and Katsu nodded their heads.
Jiraiya took a small summoning scroll out of one of his side pockets, set it on the ground, and unrolled it.
“Ok, GammaChii and Katsu, come sit on the scroll and I will seal you in the scroll. Captain Whitebeard, I will need a sample of blood so that when the time comes, only your blood will open the scroll.” Jiraiya said.
Whitebeard nodded his head.
“How are you going to do that?” Ace asked.
“Your captain will bite one of thumbs and with that, the blood from the bite mark will be used in the sealing method. Captain, can you drop some blood on this seal that I’m writing.” Jiraiya said.
Whitebeard did what Jiraiya had said to do and dropped some blood on the seal Jiraiya created. He watched as he sealed the toad and the slug into the scroll.
“Well, that’s done. Put this scroll somewhere and do not let it get destroyed. When the time comes, just drop some blood and yell summoning jutsu and it will work.” Jiraiya said calmly. “I’m also going to leave a sealing scroll. Ask GammaChii on how to use it and this is for you guys, in case someone asks for your identity. Just show it to them and they will bring you to see the Hokage.” Whitebeard nodded as Marco grabbed the object from Jiraiya. The object was a specific kunai. The kunai that his former student used.
“Marco, grab the scroll and put it in my room.” Whitebeard said as Marco nodded his head and went to get the scroll from Jiraiya.
“Thank you again for saving my son. May the future hold no bounds. I wish you all well on your adventures.” Whitebeard said.
“We will and the same goes to you as well. This is not a goodbye but an open opportunity to see each other again.” Tsunade said.
With that, the trio set off to go find their way home by the way of a whirlpool that is a portal between their worlds, while the Whitebeard Pirates waved their goodbyes.
Little did the Whitebeard Pirates know was that they will not see Jiraiya ever again but they will see Tsunade and Shizune again and Jiraiya’s apprentice as he would take over as the Toad Sage of Mount Myoboku.
XX End of Flashback XX
Whitebeard was brought out of his thoughts when the lookout shouted something about an approaching ship.
“THERE”S A SHIP APPROACHING. IT’S THE RED DRAGON. RED HAIR SHANKS IS COMING.” The lookout shouted.
The crew scrambled around to get everything ready for when Red Hair Shanks came aboard.
Soon and very slowly, a heavy pressure came aboard after Shanks’ ship docked along side theirs.
Click-Clack, Click-Clack, Click-Clack was the only thing the pirates heard coming up the ramp that was connected to both of the ships.
The heavy pressure became unbearable to those that were not used to the Haki that Shanks was releasing, passed out one by one.
“God Dammit, Shanks. Look at what you did?” Marco’s annoyed voice sounded.
Shanks laughed like he always did and set down the large sake jug he was carrying.
“Sorry, Marco. After all I am aboard an enemy ship. Can’t be too careful now. How about this come join my crew instead. What do you say?” Shanks asked. Marco’s response was to flip him off which caused Shanks to laugh even harder. Whitebeard interrupted him.
“What are you doing here brat?” Whitebeard asked.
“I’ve come here to ask that we be allies and rescue Ace together.” Shanks said. Whitebeard thought about it.
“Very well. We are allies from now on. Marco, go get that scroll please.” Whitebeard said. Marco nodded and disappeared to retrieve the scroll.
“What scroll?” Shanks asked in curiosity.
“You will see in a moment.” Whitebeard said.
“Is that the scroll you were telling me about from the strangers that saved me?” Thatch asked.
“Yes son. It is. It’s the very scroll I can use to summon for their help.” Whitebeard said.
“Cool. I can’t wait to see them and thank them personally.” Thatch said.
Shanks had heard of the story. The story was that Teach had betrayed the Whitebeard Pirates and tried to kill Thatch but was stopped by three unknown individuals and no one knew their identities except for the Whitebeard Pirates of course.
Marco returned with the scroll in his hands and gave it to Pops.
“Here you go Pops.” Marco said as he handed the scroll to him after jumping on his legs.
“Thank you Marco.” Whitebeard said. Marco nodded his head and jumped down from Pops’ legs and rejoined the crew.
Whitebeard unraveled the scroll, bit his thumb and swiped his thumb across the seal.
A few seconds later, a cloud of white smoke and on Whitebeard’s lap were individuals. A toad and a slug.
“Why have you summoned us, Whitebeard?” a male voice sounded.
Shanks heard the toad talk and could have sworn he was drunk.
“Marco, did I hear that right. That toad can talk. I can swear that I am still drunk.” Shanks asked.
“You probably are still drunk but you heard it correctly. The toad can talk.” Marco said. That stunned Shanks even more.
“Yes. I did GammaChii. We have ran into a situation that requires the help of your summoners if possible.” Whitebeard said.
“We can ask them but help is very possible.” GammaChii said.
“That is the most wonderful news that I have heard so far. Is there any way you can ask them now. The time is of the essence.” Whitebeard said.
“We can do that if you can give Katsu a brief description of what has happened.” GammaChii said.
“Yes. A couple of weeks ago, my son, Ace, was captured by a former son of mine and turned into the Marines. He is set to be executed in a month.” Whitebeard said.
“That is very disturbing to hear. Katsu, go inform Lady Tsunade of their situation but you might have to go in person to plead with her.” GammaChii said.
“Ok. Marco, Thatch, and Izo. I want you to go with GammaChii and Katsu to plead with Lady Tsunade and Master Jiraiya.” Whitebeard said.
“Yes Pops.” All three sounded together.
“Wait. What do you mean go with them and ask for help?” Shanks asked.
GammaChii and Katsu turned around to stare at the new voice.
“Yes. The one with the red hair and you look like someone that Master Jiraiya knew. We suggest that they go plead with Lady Tsunade. She was one of the ones that saved Thatch.” GammaChii said.
“I didn’t know animals can talk either?” Shanks said that caused GammaChii to laugh and Katsu to giggle.
“Some of us summons can talk while others can’t.” GammaChii said.
“Cool, so how are you going to leave to go to your summoners?” Shanks asked.
“There is a whirlpool that acts like a portal to our world about an half hour from east of here but only to those who knows its there can use it. Not only that, that is how Lady Tsunade, Master Jiraiya, and Shizune came to be here.” GammaChii said.
“That’s awesome. Hey, Whitebeard, can I send a couple of my guys along as well”? Shanks asked.
“You may come yourself which I recommend.” GammaChii said.
“Ok. Me and Yasopp will go. Benn and the others will stay here. From now on Whitebeard, us, two Yonkos are allies.” Shanks said.
“Shall we travel to our destination then.” GammaChii said.
“We may go. Set sail a half hour east of here.” Whitebeard said.
“We will be right behind you guys.” Shanks said as he left for his own ship and followed behind the Whitebeard Pirates ship.
A half hour later after they set sail towards the east, they came upon the whirlpool that GammaChii had said where it would be.
“Ok, so Marco, Thatch, Izo, Yasopp, and Me are going with the summons to meet with their summoners. How will they know it’s us?” Shanks asked as he rejoined Whitebeard Pirates Ship with Yasopp.
“We will be with you along with this scroll.” GammaChii said as he held in his amphibian hands.
“How is Marco going to get there-get there. He will sink if he falls in the water.” Thatch said.
GammaChii looked at Marco in confusion.
“It’s part of the side-affect of eating a devil fruit. The eater of the fruit loses all the abilities to swim for the rest of their lives until they die or are killed.” Marco said.
“Ah I see, well then. Maybe I can transport you in my mouth or we can use the other scroll Master Jiraiya left with me.” GammaChii said.
“The scroll sounds like a better option.” Marco said.
“Good idea. Wait while I unroll the scroll.” GammaChii said. Marco nodded his head.
GammaChii opened the scroll and motioned for Marco to get in the circle that sat in the middle of the scroll. Marco nodded his head and walked to the circle and GammaChii sealed him inside the scroll.
“Everyone ready?” GammaChii asked. The men nodded their heads, and they all jumped into the whirlpool that acted like portal to GammaChii’s world while the Whitebeard and Red-Hair pirates left to dock on am island.
In Naruto’s World
GammaChii, Thatch, Izo, Shanks, and Yasopp made it to the shore of the Land of Fire. GammaChii unsealed Marco from the scroll. Marco was a little dizzy from being in the scroll, but he stabilized himself.
“Gentleman, welcome to the Land of Fire. Home to one of the Hidden Leaf Village. One of the 5 great villages.” GammaChii said.
“It seems peaceful here.” Shanks commented.
“It usually is peaceful. Except for small skirmishes and bandit raids.” GammaChii said.
“That’s good but how far is your village from here?” Marco asked.
“It’s about a day’s walk from here.” GammaChii said.
“That’s going to take too long unless I fly everyone there?” Marco asked.
“I might have another way to get us there because I understand the emergency. Give me a sec.” GammaChii asked as he hopped a few feet away from everyone and summoned Ma and Pa of the Toad Clan.
“GammaChii, you have returned to our world?” an elderly voice sounded. A voice Marco and Izo know somewhat and a new voice to Shanks and the others.
“Yes, Ma. I have returned but I an not alone. The gentlemen that Master Jiraiya helped a few years ago are here to ask him and Lady Tsunade for help.” GammaChii said. At the mention of Jiraiya’s name made Ma and Pa grow somber which did not go unnoticed by everyone.
“Is there something wrong, Pa?” GammaChii asked.
“Yes, there is GammaChii. Master Jiraiya died in battle with the Akatsuki. But thanks, to his death, we were able to defeat the leader with the help of Naruto Uzumaki, Jiraiya-boy’s student.” Pa said. That answer saddened everyone.
“Is the blonde hair lady still alive-yoi?” Marco asked. Pa and Ma looked at him and nodded their heads, which lifted their spirits up a little.
“Pa, is there anyway you can summon Gamabunta? These gentlemen need to seek out Lady Tsunade’s help.” GammaChii asked.
“Yes. I can summon him as it would be easier to use him to get there fast.”
Pa said.
Pa moved away to summon Gamabunta. A poof of smoke later and came Gamabunta’s voice.
“Why have you summoned me, Pa? There is no battle?” Gamabunta asked.
Before Shanks or Thatch could retort something stupid, hands went over their mouths by Marco and Izo.
“Yes, there is Bunta-boy. These gentlemen were helped by Jiraiya-boy and Tsunade-girl’s apprentice, Shizune-girl, many years ago and they seek Tsunade-girl’s help once again. Is there an way you can transport us to the hidden leaf village?” Pa asked. Gamabunta squinted his eyes down at the men and sighed.
“I’ll do it Pa because Jiraiya had a feeling that they were going to need our help again. Men, hop aboard and hold on tight.” Gamabunta said as he took off as some of the men jumped on him.
“That boy is always inpatient. I don’t suppose you don’t mind taking us?” Pa said to Marco who transformed into his phoenix form. Marco’s face appeared.
“Sure, not a problem. Hop on, my flames don’t burn unless I make them. They usually heal people-yoi.” Marco said as Pa and Ma hopped on his back. “My name is Marco, First commander of the first division of the Whitebeard Pirates ship, the Moby Dick-yoi.”
“Nice to meet a young and nice gentleman like you. I’m Pa and this is my lovely wife, Ma. We are from the Toad Clan of Mount Myobuko.” Pa said. Marco’s phoenix trilled in greeting as he caught up with Gamabunta.
Marco inwardly snickered at his fellow brothers and the two red-hair pirates that came with them. All of them looked like they wanted to throw up from all the bouncing they were doing.
“Gamabunta, I can see the village up ahead of us. We can walk from here. Land over there Marco-boy.” Pa said. Marco nodded his head in his phoenix form and landed where Pa wanted him to.
“Here you go. Good luck. Maybe you will need the Toads to help out too.” Gamabunta said as he poofed away. Those who rode him, ran to separate bushes and threw up.
Marco snickered at the others expense. Pa laughed too.
“I remember Bunta-boy doing the same thing to Naruto-boy when he first summoned him according to Jiraiya-boy.” Pa said.
Before Thatch or anyone else can ask the question, what did Pa mean by that, the voice of the boy Pa mentioned called out.
“Oh, come on geezer toad. Why did you have to mention that to strangers.” Naruto’s voice sounded in a tree that was close to them.
Marco and the others got into fighting stances, but Pa waved them off.
“Naruto-boy, you know I only speak the truth.” Pa said. “Come down and greet our guests from another world.”
“WHAT! Another world?” Naruto said as he body flickered in front of the group.
“Yes Naruto-boy. Didn’t Jiraiya-boy ever tell you about his adventure to another world with Tsunade-girl and Shizune-girl?” Pa asked. Naruto put on his “I’m thinking face” and nodded his head.
“I think he did once or twice, but I can’t remember it.” Naruto said. Pa nodded.
“That is to be expected, coming from you dobe.” A new voice sounded that made Naruto happy to hear.
“Oh, fuck off teme. Anyways are you here to see the old hag too?” Naruto asked.
“Hn.” The voice sounded again.
“Who is the old hag blondie here is talking about”? Thatch asked.
Before Naruto could respond, a new voice sounded but more feminine.
“Shānnarō! Damn it Naruto. Stop talking about Lady Tsunade like that. Do you want me to beat some sense into you again?” the female voice said. Naruto stood rigidly still and furiously shook his head no.
“She really got you there, dickless.” Another voice sounded but it was male sounding.
“You can fuck off too, Sai. Right Sasuke?” Naruto asked. Soon five others appeared by Naruto.
“Hn.” Sasuke said which translated to “Nope. I don’t want to get my ass throttled by Sakura”.
Naruto flipped Sasuke the middle finger.
“How dull. Lady Sakura, we have to meet with your hokage. Something about an herb exchange program and our honeymoon here.” The dark-skinned male said.
Sakura sighed and nodded her head. While she still had feelings for Sasuke, but they weren’t romantic. Sasuke turned her down and told her that he was not in love with her but only cared for her like a sister. He also told her that he would always be her friend and would have her back. Also, there was another person out there for her, more than one person.
“Yes, dear.” Sakura said. She looked at Naruto with a frown on her face.
“Let’s go idiot. Kakashi-sensei and Lady Tsunade are waiting for us.” Sakura said to Naruto. “You can follow us.”
Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke, Darui, Cee, and Pa led the group of pirates to the village gates. They were stopped by the gate guards who always complain.
“Halt. State your business.” The gate guard said. Sakura went to answer when Marco pulled out a three-pronged kunai and showed it to the gate guards. They stiffened.
“The Jiraiya guy that came to our world gave this to my captain to show proof of our identities. He came a few years ago to save my brother Thatch from a traitor. He said and so did the blonde hair lady along with the black-haired lady that when the time came, we can come here and request help. He said it at any time and that time is now.” Marco said.
“Very well, but please surrender your weapons. It’s precautionary.” The gate guard said.
“Izumo, we don’t ask are allies to surrender their weapon. Besides, we are with them, so I doubt they will do anything.” Sakura said as she leveled a hard stare at Izumo who started to sweat under her gaze.
“Darling, I think he suffered enough. Let’s go. I can feel the ANBU in the trees.” Cee said as he guided Sakura into the gates with Darui following them.
“We might as well follow them in. Let’s go teme.” Naruto said as Sasuke gave his usual “hn” and followed him.
The group followed them along with the ANBU trailing them. They caught up with Sakura, Darui, and Cee.
“Hey, teme, wanna bet that the old hag will throw something at me for calling her an old hag.” Naruto asked Sasuke who gave him a look for saying it.
“Dobe, she will probably throw her desk at you.” Sasuke said.
“She does that, idiot, I’m punting your ass to Sand village.” Sakura said. Naruto paled but said to himself- still going to do it.
“Will she actually do that? I’m Thatch by the way.” Thatch introduced himself to Naruto.
“Nice to meet you. Naruto Uzumaki, the leaf’s village’s toad sage and number 1 knuckle head, and prankster.” Naruto said.
“Prankster?” Thatch asked which caused Sakura and Sasuke to groan in unison.
“What was that for teme and Sakura-chan?!?!” Naruto exclaimed.
“You’re an idiot. We don’t wanna rehash what happened in the academy after the stunt you pulled.” Sakura said. Sasuke nodded his head.
“What happened to cause their reactions like that?” Thatch asked. He was curious and so were the others that were with him. Sasuke and Sakura groaned again. Before Naruto could respond, a new voice popped in.
“The idiot had 6 groups of Anbu, 15 Jonin, and 20 Chunin chasing him and the only person to catch him was his Chunin teacher from the academy. Iruka was the only one to catch him after he ditched his chasers. I saw him do it and never stopped him because it was funny watching my fellow colleagues chasing him and he did it all wearing the obscene monstrosity orange outfit.” The new voice said. Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Sasuke perked up in joy.
“Kakashi-sensei!?!!” They all exclaimed.
The said man mentioned appeared in front of the group, holding his favorite book.
“Yo.” Kakashi said.
“You never mentioned that you saw my prank Kakashi-sensei. Also don’t diss the orange. Nobody caught me doing it until I was almost finished with the fourth hokage but that was when I got caught. I ran, hid and was found by Iruka-sensei.” Naruto said.
“True but you always came up with a plan on the fly. Anyways, I shall go with you to see Lady Tsunade.” Kakashi said as Naruto beamed.
“What a drag. I remember that incident. Didn’t you kiss Sasuke after that?” another new voice said.
The two mentioned boys, Naruto and Sasuke, turned white and gagged, and sputtered death threats at each other and to the person that mentioned that incident.
“Fuck off, Shikamaru. You just had to mention that awful thing that happened to me. I got the shit beat out of me from Sakura, Ino, and the other fan girls.” Naruto glared at Shikamaru.
“Kakashi-sensei was the one that mentioned the part where you caused our whole class to repeat the lesson on the transformation technique.” Shikamaru said. Naruto’s response was to flip Shikamaru the bird.
“I’d be careful. Lady Tsunade is in a scary mood.” Shikamaru said.
“Why is that? I’m Izo by the way.” Izo said. Shikamaru nodded and looked at Kakashi.
“Something about a certain someone being three hours late for an appointment with her and Shizune for when she could retire from the Hokages position.” Shikamaru said deadpanned. They all looked at Kakashi who still wore his signature mask, whistled innocently.
“Really, Kakashi-sensei, really.” Sakura asked deadpanned.
“What can I say, “I got lost on the Road of Life.” Kakashi said. Those who knew what he meant nodded solemnly and those who didn’t were confused.
“Kakashi-boy, we need to see Tsunade-girl. These gentlemen traveled from a far away place, seeking Tsunade-girl’s help. This GammaChii and he is a messenger toad. He was sealed years ago by Jiraiya-boy incase that one day they will need our help. Shizune-girl saved one of their brothers and they were betrayed by someone they used to know as their brother.” Pa said.
Kakashi knew what it was like to be betrayed by someone they used to call brother or like a brother. He thought Obito but in the end Obito sacrificed himself to save Kakashi.
“Very well. May I see what object that Master Jiraiya left to you?” Kakashi asked. Marco nodded and pulled a very familiar kunai. One that Kakashi recognized all too well.
“May I see it?” Kakashi asked. Marco handed it over to Kakashi.
Kakshi studied the kunai intensely and looked at Naruto.
“Naruto, my cute student, come here. I want you to see something of your fathers.” Kakashi said as he showed Naruto the kunai.
“Oh yeah, dad mentioned that he had some custom-made kunai.” Naruto said. “There’s only a few in the world.”
“Ok I believe them Kakashi-sensei. Let’s go granny Tsunade.” Naruto said. Before they could continue on, most of the males got shivers down their spines, especially Naruto, for insulting Tsunade, and Kakashi, for being chronically late for meetings.
“KAKASHI HATAKE, I’m going to kick your ass all the way Mist if you don’t get your ass in my office and NARUTO, how many times have I told you to stop calling me “old hag” or “granny Tsunade”. I should be addressed as Lady Tsunade or Lady Hokage.” Tsunade said as she jumped in front of the group, smashing a fist into both, Narutos and Kakashis heads, respectively. Both men dropped while a few winced and snickered.
“Calm down Tsunade-girl. We have visitors.” Pa said. Tsunade, blind to her rage, forgot to see who was in front of her.
She finally looked at the group, ignoring Narutos and Kakashis whines of pain. She recognized Marco, Izo, and the one Shizune saved, Thatch. She recognized that they were here to ask for help.
“I see. I guess the time is now.” Tsunade asked, looking straight at Marco, who nodded.
“Yes. The one that betrayed us has done the second worst thing to our family. He turned over our youngest brother to the Navy, and he is set to be executed in two weeks from now. Please, we are in desperate need of your help again.” Marco got on his knees, those who came with him, did the same thing.
The others stared at them with a mixture of pity and understanding.
“Very well. I will assign my very best at it. Genma, gather all the other rookie teams and have them meet me in my office. Darui and Cee, I know we had a meeting planned for later today, but this takes precedence. Kakashi, we will talk later. And please get off your knees.” Tsunade said. “Follow me to my office.”
Genma appeared briefly and disappeared as quickly as possible to do his assigned task.
They all made it to her office. Tsunade moved sit in her chair behind her desk, Shizune stood beside her after she joined them after she saw who was here. She recognized the three gentlemen from before.
“Now, in detail, please tell me what’s going on.” Tsunade said.
“Greetings my lady. I am Izo, 16th division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. On behalf of myself and our father, we sincerely thank you for help again. It all started after our little brother, Ace, defied our father wishes and went after the traitor and now he got captured by said traitor. This is our ally Red-hair Shanks and his third in command, Yasopp.” Izo said.
Tsunade looked at Red-hair Shanks and felt her body go numb.
“It can’t be.” Tsunade whispered. Shanks looked at her in confusion.
“Uh, can I help you miss Tsunade?” Shanks asked. Tsunade looked at him and then discreetly at Naruto.
“Sorry but you just look like Naruto’s mother, Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze. If I may get a sample of blood to confirm my suspicions. It would put my mind at ease.” Tsunade asked.
Shanks, who was confused, nodded his head.
Everyone in the room saw the resemblance except for the ones who came with Marco.
“Shizune, please get Shanks and Narutos blood. Shikamaru, please capture Naruto. Tell the lab to put a rush on it.” Tsunade said as Naruto tried to escape the room via window. Shikamaru said nothing as he captured Naruto using his Shadow Possession technique.
“Damn you Shikamaru, your supposed to be on my side.” Naruto said as Shikamaru made him do funny moves.
“Oh, you will be fine, you big baby.” Sakura said as she relaxed in Darui’s arms with Cee caressing her shoulders. Sai snickered and Sasuke did his usual “hn”.
“But Sakura-chan, I hate needles. OUCH, that hurt Shizune.” Naruto said as he grabbed his arm after Shikamaru released him. Naruto grumbled.
“While we wait for the results. We will introduce ourselves. Even though Naruto already has done so. I will go first. I am Tsunade Senju, granddaughter of the first hokage, great niece of the second hokage, student of the third hokage and the fifth hokage of the leaf village.” Tsunade said. Sakura went next.
“I am Sakura Haruno. Students of both Kakashi Hatake and lady Tsunade.” Sakura said as Darui and Cee went next.
“How dull. I am Darui, partner to Cee, Jonin of the Cloud village and Sakura’s husband.” Darui said.
“I am Cee. Partner to Darui, Jonin of the Cloud village and Sakura’s other husband.” Cee said. That confused the visitors.
“You three are married?” Thatch asked. All three nodded.
“Were newlyweds.” Sakura said.
“Congratulations.” Shanks said. They nodded.
“I am Sai. My partners are Ugly, Dickless one and Dickless Two.” Sai said proudly. Sai got his head beaten by all three of his teammates.
“Hn. I am Sasuke Uchiha.” Sasuke said and revealed nothing else.
Before the others could introduce themselves, they were interrupted by knocking on the door.
“Enter.” Tsunade said.
The door opened and came in were all the rookies that she asked to be there.
“Very good. You are all here.” Tsunade said.
“YOUTH. WHY HAVE YOU BROUGHT US HERE LADY TSUNADE.” LEE SHOUTED. Everyone cringed at his loud volume. Tenten smacked him upside his head.
“Inside voice Lee.” Tenten said as she glared at him.
“Oops. Sorry Tenten.” Lee apologized.
“Forgive my youthful student but we wanna know why were summoned here?” Guy said.
“Well, Guy. These gentlemen that are standing next to you are visitors that request our help. Me, Jiraiya, and Shizune traveled to an unknown world and saved a person (Thatch raised his hand and did a little wave) and prevented something from getting into the wrong hands. We promised before we left that we would help them again and that time is now.” Tsunade said.
Before Guy or anyone else from the rookie teams could respond, Shizune busted through the door, looking pale and happy, all at the same time.
“Lady Tsunade! There is news! The blood tests confirm that Red-hair Shanks is Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze’s brother which makes him Naruto’s uncle.” Shizune exclaimed in happiness as she handed Tsunade the paper. She took the paper and read the results and smiled.
