Work Text:
Well, maybe he wasn’t in the best possible situation.
Well, when had he ever been in his entire life? Maybe for about six months at most.
Matthew Murdock, a devout Catholic man, a daytime lawyer with a strong sense of justice, and a nighttime vigilante in the most dangerous neighborhood in all of New York. Ah, and as if that weren’t enough, an omega. Not one of those skinny, fragile ones who needed help with absolutely everything; he was a fairly independent man despite his limiting disability.
But an omega all the same, which was why he found himself where he was now, cornered against his own bed while an alpha with whom he had never gotten along particularly well and who, as if that weren’t enough, was a constant rival in his second life as a crime-fighter: the very one and only Frank Castle.
For better or for worse, Castle had become part of what he considered his “pack.” But the problem wasn’t that he had a pack; his biological nature always found a way to make itself known, and that was one of the many ways. The issue was that, being the only omega in such a large and stable pack, his biology had decided that the right moment had come to produce the much-acclaimed “omega milk.”
Seriously, he had believed it was just a myth, one of those illusory tales that only fools fell for, like “The Destined Ones.” Yet he had no choice but to swallow his words when one day at the office, while reading Braille reports of new cases, he suddenly felt it: the thin white shirt under his jacket grew damp in two circles over where his nipples were supposed to be.
Awkwardly he closed his jacket to cover the incident and excused himself to Foggy and Karen when, noticing how erratic he was acting, they tried to help him. He felt both of their stares burning into the back of his neck with growing curiosity before locking himself in the bathroom because, as if ruining his favorite shirt weren’t enough, he was starting to release pheromones by the ton; a natural call to the members of his pack to let them know he was more than ready to “fulfill” one of his biological functions.
For days he tried to hide it, to be tight-lipped about it the way he usually was with any discomfort he had. But being constantly watched by his friends at the office—or outside of it—and, to top it off, given away by his scent, he had no choice but to swallow his shame and tell them.
First it was with those he thought would be the most appropriate and to gain more confidence: Karen and Foggy, his best beta friends, who had already seen him acting strangely from the very first moment, didn’t hesitate to reassure him by letting him know that whatever process he was going through, they would be there for him and would cover for him as best they could whenever any other “incident” occurred. Claire, on the other hand, was quite kind in offering him help and instructing him on how to cope with the lactation or what kinds of products he should use—or what massages he should do—so that he wouldn’t be in pain.
Last he left the alphas: Danny, extremely kind and with that calm that made those around him feel safe, comforted him by assuring him that no matter what happened, everyone would maintain a respectful distance from him. And Luke and Jessica offered their support in their own way.
However, with Frank…
To say that the way he found out was compromising would be an understatement.
Matt had come home from what would have been a good day at work, if it hadn’t been for one of his clients, an omega woman, who had arrived with her newborn pup in her arms. His instinct had flared up and reacted to having the cub so close, causing his chest to fill more than usual. So to rid himself of such discomfort he stripped from the waist up and began to massage himself, just as Claire had taught him.
He had been so absorbed in his own pain and the urge to relieve his discomfort that his senses, so sharp and accurate, failed to perceive a familiar heartbeat. Much less that penetrating and distinctive scent of tobacco and gunpowder.
“Did I come at a bad time?”
Frank Castle’s voice, deep and clear, nearly made Murdock’s heart leap out of his mouth.
“AHH!” he shouted and quickly groped for one of the cushions to cover himself. Who would have thought it, “the man without fear” was now trembling like a leaf for having been discovered in the privacy of his home in an activity he still wasn’t quite used to. “For heaven’s sake, Frank! Announce yourself before you come in!”
He heard a rough laugh leave the alpha’s lips. “I did, actually. Several times.” The sound of his combat boots making the wood creak a little as he approached him as if it were some kind of game and not a break-in. “But it seems you were more busy grabbing your tits.” Matt didn’t need to imagine it; he knew that as he said that, Frank was looking at the cushion with which he was hiding his chest. He held back a cry of frustration at the apparent complete lack of prudence in the man in front of him and simply sighed.
“W-what do you want? What did you come for?”
“You’ve been missing for weeks, Red. I came to make sure you hadn’t ended up dead in some ditch.”
An uncomfortable silence settled after that comment. Matt would have liked to say with complete firmness that he hadn’t been surprised by the alpha’s apparent concern, but damn it, he would be lying. Frank had worried about him, and that shouldn’t make his stomach flutter with emotion. Of course not.
“Fine, you’ve seen me.” He said at last, returning to his usual calm. “Now leave, I’d really appreciate it.”
Frank remained standing in the same spot and crossed his arms. Judging by the change in his breathing, he was thinking. Thinking about what? That was what didn’t add up for the lawyer.
In any case he didn’t have to wonder about that for long; the alpha couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Do you need a little help, Red?” He asked in a suggestive tone that brought color to the omega’s face. The latter grabbed one of the cushions.
“FRANCIS, GET OUT!!” And he threw it hard toward where he supposed Castle was. The cushion was stopped before reaching its target—Frank’s head—and left on the floor without importance.
The last thing he heard from the alpha were his thunderous peals of laughter full of amusement as he left the building.
And that, unfortunately, was not the last time that both the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen and the Punisher found themselves in this particular situation.
But the one that did mark a before and after was that day.
After several weeks of struggle with the same case that had ended in them losing the trial, Matt was more than stressed. He had already gone several days without sleeping at all and with the same stabbing pains in his nipples, but without being able to do much about it because, it seemed, the massages no longer had the same effect as before.
So, upon arriving at his apartment that night the first thing he did was undress. He didn’t feel like doing anything else, so he went to shower to freshen up. While bathing he tried to massage his breasts once more, even stimulating the nipples so they would drip but, as on previous occasions, none of that worked.
He came out more frustrated after bathing, so much so that he didn’t even bother to get dressed or cover himself with a towel. He went straight to the closet, where he kept that strange device he had refused to use from the beginning for being too “exaggerated” and which, however, he ended up taking out of its box.
With all the defeat and shame that an omega in his position can feel, Matt sat on the edge of his bed with the device on his lap and, remembering Claire’s words, guided himself by the texture to know where the suction cup of the pump was. He placed it on his left breast, blindly turned on the motor and… sighed. The milk was starting to come out, but even so he felt it wasn’t enough.
“What the hell is that?”
“AHHH!” He startled and almost dropped the pump. He clung to it and turned it off with trembling fingers, not only from nervousness, but also from the growing rage. Oh come on! Is this for real?! Can’t he have even a single moment to himself? “Frank?!” He frowned, now able to hear the heartbeat and perceive the characteristic scent of the aforementioned. “Francis!! What did I tell you about knocking before coming in?!”
The alpha, far from seeming even moderately altered or annoyed by the omega’s constant lectures, entered the room as if it were nothing; as if he had lived there for a long time, and considering how constant his unexpected visits were, one could say that was the case.
“Calm down, Red.” He asked him lightly, as if the situation were the most normal thing. How ironic, now the one who seemed to fear nothing was Frank. “Your little secret is safe with me.”
Huh?
“What? What are you…?”
He heard his footsteps approaching to where he was, slow, almost anticipatory. His strong and dominant scent infiltrating the space at a slippery pace, and his pheromones, although contained to a certain extent, made his intrigue and… something else clear. Something that Matt didn’t want to identify, because identifying would imply recognizing and he wasn’t in a condition to do so.
He wasn’t ready to assume that possessive and slightly altered glimpse from Frank.
“I won’t tell anyone that you’re pregnant.”
What?
Had he… heard correctly?
“Oh, for the love of God.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, perhaps gathering the little willpower he had left after such a heavy week. “Listen to me carefully, Frank, because I don’t plan on repeating it.” He left the pump on the bed and stood in front of Frank, indifferent to his own nakedness, and jabbed his index finger into his chest. “I’m not pregnant, much less in the mood for whatever you came here to do.” He released a bit of aggressive pheromones, the always sweet scent of apples turning particularly sour as a warning of his unusual bad mood. “So I’d really appreciate it if you left me alone.”
However, and despite his attempts to intimidate the alpha, the latter only sketched a smile that Matt found particularly irritating.
“Bad day?” Was the first thing that came out of his mouth after that tense silence. “It shows.”
The omega huffed an irritated “Oh, don’t tell me” and turned his back on the other. He had to finish what he had started, even if he didn’t want to. But it was the only thing within his reach, at least until he stopped being so tense and the massages started working again. He sat once more and, no longer caring about preserving a bit of decorum as long as he could get some sleep even for a few minutes, stuck the suction cup against his breast again and the pump started doing the rest.
Of course, the process was much more tense than before thanks to the intruder in his dwelling who was prowling around him. He knew he was up to something, but he was so exhausted that he just wanted to finish all this at once and go straight to sleep.
“Why you…?” And there it was. The interrogation. Matt just shrugged.
“No idea.”
“I thought it only happened when, you know, pregnancy.” Castle continued, taking a seat at the foot of the bed giving him his back—and with it the little privacy he didn’t know he needed but which he appreciated.
“Apparently not.” The pump’s motor produced a hum barely perceptible to anyone, but which for someone with senses so developed thanks to his blindness like Matt, was enough background noise not to succumb to madness. “Supposedly it’s something normal.”
“Normal?”
It was little the liquid he managed to extract, but it was something, and that something was enough reason for the relaxed smile that usually accompanied him to make an appearance. His scent becoming softer and more digestible.
“When there’s only one omega in a pack this of the… the lactation. It just happens. As if it were breathing.”
And ironically, it also prevented him from doing so sometimes due to the great burden that not emptying his breasts properly implied. Those details, of course, he would keep only for himself. But he couldn’t keep thinking about that; he heard how Frank’s jaw gradually clenched, as if he had realized something that he hadn’t.
“Are there alphas in your pack?”
“What?”
“Alphas.” He repeated, a bitter glint in his voice that couldn’t be disguised. And that, far from causing the lawyer discomfort, only managed to make the fluttering in his stomach increase. “Are there more alphas in your pack?”
And Matt almost answered with the truth. Almost. If it weren’t for…
“Why do you care to know?”
The moment couldn’t be more and more strange and dense. Maybe he should cover himself a little. He stretched his free hand to the blanket he never made because he left in a hurry to the office and covered himself from the waist down with it, at all times feeling the gaze of the only alpha in the room.
“Simple curiosity, Red. Don’t feel so important.” He barked with feigned indifference, nevertheless Matt kept perceiving that undertone in his voice that gave him a lot to think about.
Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to tease Castle a little. I mean, he broke into his home for the millionth time! Playing a little with his bad temper would be like returning the favor, right?
“And if there were, what’s the problem?”
He held back a laugh at the loud snort from the other man.
“That you’re not marked.” He finally answered as if it were something obvious. Matthew turned a little in the direction of the alpha’s voice and tilted his head just as confused pups do. The sound of Frank swallowing saliva at such an enchanting sight resonating in his ears like thunder in the middle of an open field.
“And why would I want a mark?”
“I… don’t know.” He heard him ramble, and the redhead couldn’t help feeling tender. “I thought that being the altar boy that you are you’d want to do things ‘just as the Lord wants them’ or something like that.”
After all, it wasn’t every day that one had the very Frank Castle acting like a textbook jealous alpha.
“I think you’ve put me on a very high pedestal, Frank.”
He received no answer from the mentioned one for a long while. So much so that even for a moment he started to believe that this whole conversation was nothing more than his loneliness taking the form of a hallucination. No, it couldn’t be like that. He could clearly hear the beat of his heart after the mechanical suction of the pump, and not to mention his scent; it was impregnated everywhere by this point.
“At this rate you’re not going to manage to get almost anything out.” He finally cut the silence. Matt hadn’t understood what he was referring to until he remembered the device stuck to his breast. “You know? I think… I can help you with that.”
That was enough for the fluttering to increase and spread throughout his body. You didn’t have to be so smart to understand it; it could no longer be denied even if he tried.
And Matthew Murdock, exhausted from fighting this burden alone, wondered if it would be a good idea to continue with the role of self-sufficient omega or… no, no! What was he thinking. No, he definitely couldn’t. He had to get up once more, be strong for himself and for no one else and…
Ah, to hell with it.
“Oh yeah? How?”
His tongue traced a lazy path over the lawyer’s whitish skin, passing along the outline of his neck, scattering kisses on his collarbones and stopping at the sternum. Only then did he allow the rest of his mouth to explore Matt’s firm and muscular chest.
The omega, on the other hand, tried to keep his composure and keep his lips as closed as possible. Not because he didn’t enjoy feeling adored, but because it was so much to process that his sharp senses overstimulated easily. He was aroused, so much so that his breasts couldn’t help feeling heavier and more sensitive than they already were. The strong alpha pheromones complemented his own, which received them and mixed enthusiastically.
“Frank, F-Frank enough!” He begged with a weak voice and hands in his attempt to push the alpha away from his chest. However, it was already too late. He knew it when he felt the vigilante rubbing his clit with his thumb and, right after, latching onto his right nipple and sucking.
It was then that his mind went blank.
He felt submerged underwater, his senses failing; all except touch, clearly feeling how that hot whitish liquid that had made his last nights a hell was being avidly consumed by Castle. Not to mention the attention given to his little button of flesh, every electric current down his spine made the red of his cheeks compete with that of his hair. He moaned in relief and shame; he couldn’t believe that the tension in his body was decreasing so quickly just from this mundane and biological action. May God forgive him, but it felt so good. His fingers hooked into the alpha’s rebellious dark locks while he released more of that delicious scent of cinnamon and apples that drove Frank so crazy, making him resume his thrusts.
The omega’s vagina contracted around the intrusive cock, sucking avidly and releasing more of its slick every time the glans kissed his cervix.
“Fr-Frank—!!” He whimpered brokenly, his words struggling to be contained. He heard Frank detach from his half-full chest and perceived his gaze, heavy and penetrating, on him. And before he could say anything, the black-haired man beat him to it by saying:
“You’d better not stop, Red. I want to hear you.”
Matt only shook his head with thick tears falling from his blind eyes and getting lost in the softness of the sheets.
“Too much, t-too much, it’s too much…!”
“Then let me fix it, baby.” And he trapped his nipple against his mouth again. No matter how much he whimpered from the painful pleasure, Castle didn’t stop until he left the breast empty and then moved to the other; all while the rhythm at which the alpha’s pelvis pounded between his thighs grew more and more brutal.
The redhead felt he could die at any moment. And, for the first time since this change had struck his life, he didn’t feel even a shred of fear about it.
«Is this what it feels like to reach heaven…?» Was the last coherent thought he could form before, in a daring move, Frank abandoned his chest to sink his teeth in a single bite into the nape of his neck, linking them as alpha and omega; And the pure satisfaction that his anatomy harbored melted his nerves and neurons alike.
A few more thrusts were enough for the omega to noisily reach orgasm, squirting a little of the latex that covered the erection with his essence while drops of milk trickled down his soft chest and, finally, he let himself fall exhausted against the mattress. The deplorable image that for Frank was, at the very least, glorious.
Seeing the modest devil vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen turned into a dripping mess anesthetized by the pleasure of climax, but above all: Marked and his, was a sight that not just anyone could get.
No one, except him.
And that possessive thought was the trigger for his own climax. He buried himself to the hilt in Matt’s sensitive cunt and emptied himself inside the condom while his knot locked in, stretching his partner’s abused entrance.
“You look good, Red.” He teased once he was able to pull his canines from the omega’s smooth skin; HIS omega. He let his lips stained with the other’s blood—and with traces of the so sacred omega milk—caress in a trail of kisses all along the Bonding Mark. He wrapped his strong arms around the limp and docile silhouette that was his partner on the mattress, and pressed him against his own chest, only then realizing from the effort the scratches and claw marks on his back. It wasn’t something that really mattered to him; he was barely noticing it from the faint crimson on Matt’s fingertips. “We should do this more often, don’t you think?”
Murdock, already without strength for absolutely anything else, let himself be handled by the other and murmured a listless “Fuck you” before surrendering to the arms of Morpheus. He needed to recharge his energy as much as he could, and probably rest more than five hours so that, when he woke up, he could understand how he had allowed someone like Frank Castle to claim him as his omega after the whole spectacle they had made over the milk.
