The core idea of Au: SSK(also known as The Slow Silent Killer) is a poison made by demons with no cure. student gets infected, teacher cares for them while chaos happens around them.
the SSK(Silent Slow Killer) is a toxin manifested by demons who have whatever motives they have. the toxin itself must be injected to affect a person, with the effects being quick to react, with no known cure and no way to stop it/slow it down.
the toxin kills the victim by attacking the lungs while they sleep, with the toxin itself forcing the victim into long periods of sleep(10-14 hours at a time). the toxin also makes staying awake difficult, with only 5-30 minutes of being awake.
because of the nature of SSK, there being no cure and the toxin killing patients in a slow painful way, doctors normally follow Involuntary euthanasia(ending a patient's life to relieve suffering without consent(when in a coma or unable to deny)), or Assisted suicide(The doctor provides the lethal means, but the patient administers it themselves.)
the story would take place whenever you would like(better if during a time where an absence would have an effect). and the story itself would be about a student of the misfit class, better if its one that would be missed but wouldn't cause too much cannon disturbance(ex Lied, Jazz, Gaap).
said student would be injected by SSK for whatever reason or whatever way. but they must be in some sort of alleyway cause all good stories have alleyways.
said student would try to call someone for help, and the phone would connect just as they pass out from the SSK. and who did they call you ask? Kalego of course CAUSE WHY NOT(or any teacher works(but Kalego would be fun))!
from there you can really do whatever you want, but the story follows Kalego(or other teacher) taking care of the student at their place, slowly coming to actually enjoy the students presence(THIS IS NOT A SHIP IT IS A PARENTAL FEELING PEOPLE!).
tho the story works best if either A: the teacher and student DON'T get along well before this(literally every student and Kalego lol), or B: the student and teacher get along/interact before this(Lied and Robin(then again that's really specific), Dali and also anyone cause hes nice, Balam works too), and student and teacher combo works!
any ships can be added(but they would be background as the SSK is the main thing), and well, yeah add whatever you want!
BUT, the key part is the teacher who is caring for the dying student has to accidentally find a cure, and that can be anything you want, but my idea is a cure where someone has to administer raw mana into the victim while they are awake(its a slow cure). BUT its an open book so have fun(but it is better if the cure is slow and only works when the student is awake)
and also the teacher doesn't tell anyone about the student out of fear that they would be taken to the hospital and well, ya know, be killed to 'save them the suffering'. and said teacher has to cover up for the students absence and also deal with the other missfits trying to find out why 'student' hasn't shown up in a while
