To be fair, it was an accident.
When the potion started bubbling, Ace knew he was cooked.
Unfortunately, it splashed onto Yuu when someone bumped into the cauldron.
Thus leaving them in this mess.
With a young Yuu, bloody and hair matted over their eyes and head, looking no older than five years old.
Wearing an oversized uniform.
Everyone stood and gawked as Yuu raised a covered hand to their eyes.
Ace noticed that they were bleeding, gushing blood in at least six different places, dyeing the fabric dark red.
"Oh, shit, they're hurt!" Ace tried to grab the kid.
Unfortunately, the kid was much faster. They grabbed Ace's hand and twisted hard, using that as leverage to leap into the air,over the crowd, and bolt out of the classroom.
. . . . . In a matter of seconds.
Crewel stared after the kid as Ace cradled his arm.

Leona was trying to nap in the botanical gardens when he heard a little pitter-patter of tiny feet.
He groaned and looked for the noise.
What he found when the noise stopped startled him a bit.
A small child, looking four years old, standing five feet away from him. Dark skin, a touch darker than his, long ears that tapered down, slanted into points, black bangs that covered a bloody, messy face, fading into white as it spilled down the kid's back, black tips at the end.
Wearing an oversized Alchemy uniform.
The kid lunged when he sat up to get a better look.
With a blade in hand.
Well shit.
