Work Text:

The air was particularly frigid in a way that felt nearly harsh, the night air moving every few seconds, tussling the trees and whistling quietly.

Caitlyn was leaned against the side of a bar downtown-The Last Drop-fumbling with the still-plastic-wrapped pack of cigarettes she’d purchased earlier that day.

You’d think having an eternity to yourself or maybe literally being dead would make addiction at least an easier thing to move past, maybe even non existent, but for some reason the craving still itched at Caitlyn much like the need for blood did every very days. Those cravings always accompanying and making each other worse. Building on each other.

She’d started smoking a long time ago, back when she was young, back when she was human too, it was one of the many “unwomanly” habits she’d partaken in back then that she’d only gotten away with due to her proximity to nobility. Looking back it was a bit stupid, putting herself in the public eye like that, but, it only hurt her a few times.

She’s tried to kick the habit a couple (so many) times in the few hundred years since she’s been turned into a vampire, but it’s never stuck for longer than a few weeks. Addictive personalities don’t go away even after death I suppose. Shitty deal.

Her latest attempt was due to a girl. A stupid fucking reason looking back on it.

She was sweet in both personality and taste, but just something to play with for a short while, a glorified blood bag, though she hated Caitlyn’s smoking so of course the vampire tried to quit for the girl, thinking it would be nice to stop spending the money on packs anyways, but, it only made her more grumpy, more pent up. It just made her more frustrated with everything the human did wrong.

All of that culminated the day before.

Caitlyn had a small freak out on her for not doing a chore correctly (I mean, really, in full honesty, how the fuck do you mess up laundry so badly that you utterly ruin a suit like that? She had it coming to her.) , they must’ve fought for hours, bringing up weeks of baggage they’d conveniently ignored talking about in favour of touching each other before declaring they’d never see each other again. Great.

So obviously the first thing Caitlyn did this morning was buy herself a pack. She’d briefly regretted the decision, maybe she really did need to quit, for herself, not some random chick. But now she’s so glad she’d gotten them.

She’d gone to the bar with her friends Jayce and Mel, looking for a new girl to spend the night with to ease her stress from yesterday. Nothing serious. Just fun. Maybe a feed.

She didn’t get a girl exactly.

Instead some asshole man ran into her and ruined her brand few suede jacket.

So she’s a little pissed.

The jacket was laid over her forearm as she ripped the plastic off her pack, nearly crushing the cigarette she pulled from the carton between her fingers.

It took a moment to grab the lighter from the pocket on the jacket she was holding, a moment longer and she would’ve exploded.

With a big breath in the nicotine flooded her cold system, warming her lifeless lungs and soothing her active brain.

She let the smoke ease up out of her lips into the air around her. Staining the clear blue sky that shared its colour with the Vampires hair a muddy grey.

She was too tired for this bullshit, and the worst part is that the dull ache in the back of her brain didn’t ease- at least not enough.

It wasn’t just the nicotine she was craving.

She hadn’t drank blood in almost a week, humans always needed time to recover after feeds, and seemingly even more time when they’re angry, the weakness was just barely ebbing at her now, but far worse than that was the needing. The constant needing for the taste, the pleasure, for the feeling of feeding on someone warm.

And now she didn’t have someone that was hers to drink from.

That was the worst part about every break up.

There’s something special about drinking from someone who’s yours, even if you don’t really care for them, it enhances everything, makes it all warmer, so much more satisfying.

She was so tired. So hungry. So fucking happy to be smoking again.

The bar was loud behind her back, almost annoyingly so. It was about time she’d start leaving, it would be too much effort to try and find someone right now, especially since she’s already annoyed. She could always call up one of her other vampire friends and ask if they have any bags of blood handy they could give away. Yeah. That was a good plan for her night.

Just as she took what was going to be her final puff before leaving, a short red headed girl burst from the door near her coughing, holding her stomach as she retched, never actually coming up.

Wait- No. Not a girl. At least not a human one.

A werewolf. A rather muscular one too upon a second glance.

The girl nearly fell over, pushing herself right up against the wall. The smell of alcohol was clear on her skin along with whatever wolfy hormones were spilling from her pores.

There’s a few moments where they sit there, both leaned against the wall about two feet apart, the werewolf gasping for air as the vampire blew smoke from her lips, the grey billowing up and blowing off in a stronger gust that picked up Caitlyn’s hair with it.

Usually a werewolf and a vampire in an alley together wasn’t a very safe scene. Despite the werewolves size though, she didn’t seem like much of a threat, not while intoxicated and airless at least.

“Are you alright?” Caitlyn’s posh voice broke through the night, almost mocking, making the werewolf jump back. Had she really not noticed her? All those enhanced senses really were useless, huh?

The moment the werewolves eyes landed on Caitlyn though she seemed to ease, even though she should’ve done the opposite. She was right next to her natural predator after all. How drunk was this girl?

The werewolf gaped for a moment. “Holy fuck you’re hot” she coughed after getting the words out. Ah. That’s why she was so unperturbed.

Maybe Caitlyn would bring someone home with her tonight after all.

“Are you always this forwards with strangers?” She asked through the smoke, her lips sitting parted, distracting the werewolf.

“Shit-“ the werewolf readjusted herself, leaning against the wall and grinning at Caitlyn as if she looked cool, and maybe if she hadn’t just fumbled for three minutes straight she would. “Only the pretty ones”

“So now you’re trying to be smooth?” Caitlyn laughed despite herself. She took another long drag. "I fear that ship has sailed for you, dear"

“What else am I meant to do when I see a pretty vampire smoking all alone”

“How much have you drank?”

The girl thought for a moment. Then another moment.

“Tonight?” Her eyes smoothed over Caitlyn’s lips. “Like... Not much. Not too much at least.” She shifted herself to look at Caitlyn better. In any other scenario it would've looked like a threat considering their species' histories, but it looked more like the wolf wanted to be the prey rather than a predator.

“Well you're certainly acting like it's a lot more than not much.”

“Hey, I mean I can act differently” she smirked, leaned in closer. “In fact I think I'd be happy to act however you want me to”

It takes just a second for Caitlyn to connect their lips.

The werewolf immediately grabbed her hips to pull her close. She was acting even more starved than Caitlyn was- and Caitlyn was the one actually hungry.

Caitlyn pulled away for only a moment and took more smoke into her lungs, blowing it out into the girls lips, filling their kiss with the drug.

The werewolves ears pinned down, a small whimper falling from her lips. Suddenly the cigarette wasn’t important anymore, quickly being discarded onto the ground and ground out by Caitlyn’s boot. She'd just found something even more addicting.

They pushed further into the alleyway, hidden in the juncture of the two buildings.

Caitlyn dropped her jacket as they pressed closer, once so upset about the small stain, now letting it fall right into the dirt. “Mmm.. your name?” Caitlyn asked as she trailed kisses down from the girls lips to her jaw. She liked knowing her prey.

“Viol- just- Vi.” The wolf moaned out.

“Caitlyn” she whispered when she reached Vis neck, giving the pulsing column one long kiss before biting down into the vein.

Vi winced, gasping out much like she had been just moments before. She was acted so needy already.

“Fuck-“ she tried for a moment to push Caitlyn off but quickly succumbed to just letting her drink. And god did she drink.

Vis blood was warm and bittersweet. Like dark chocolate or a hug after a harsh storm. It was better than Caitlyn had ever imagined when she saw her. She was hooked.

Vis hand slipped into Caitlyn’s midnight hair, now pulling her closer instead of pushing her away.

Caitlyn’s hands traveled Vis form, she was hard and muscular, she was honestly massive, not many women had this much muscle mass on them, and that just pulled Caitlyn in further.

With one hand she squeezed Vis robust bicep, her other hand grabbing at Vis thighs.

She pulled inn as much blood as she could, her mouth greedy as she sucked at Vis neck. She would've drained her every last drop if she was any less wise, and even with her wisdom it's taking more effort than she'd like to admit to not ruin the wolf in her arms.

“Hey- hey getting a little woozy here”

Caitlyn unlatched, lapping over the new puncture wound to help it close faster, and selfishly to gather the last drops she could.

A warmth bloomed in Caitlyn’s chest, a connection between the two monsters.

It was something unique. Something Caitlyn certainly hadn’t felt before.

She wanted so badly to feel it again, she almost dove right back in.

“You okay?” She mumbled, pleasure from the feed still eating at her mind.

“Yeah.. that’s… those are sharp, huh?”

Caitlyn blinked. “I suppose” that was a weird comment to make, until Caitlyn realized that Vis definitely never been bitten by a vampire before, it was sort of taboo for werewolves and vampires to even be amicable, so it was all probably a little overwhelming.

A small guilt started running through her now full veins. Vi was a werewolf. She'd just betrayed her history and species just to feed Caitlyn, and werewolves didn't even get the same satisfaction as humans did when bit by a vampire since they were less susceptible to the whole coercion thing. Then she had an idea. She’d might as well share in the pleasure in a different way then, huh?

Her hands found the waistline of Vis pants. “Can I?” Caitlyn asked gently, quickly being met with frantic and eager nods. Definitely needy.

Caitlyn hand plunged in, slipping under her boxers so her long cold fingers could feel between each and every fold between her thighs. Already ready. Already wet for her.

The wolf made a long groan, tilting her hips to try and gather friction from the vampires soft manicured hands.

“Shhh… take it slowly” Caitlyn whispered up into the wolves ear, watching it twitch.

That was the fun part about werewolves. Mocking them-and now she's found its the joy in fucking them too.

You always knew what they were feeling.

Vi gasped when Caitlyn pushed in a finger, nearly collapsing against the vampires taller frame.

Then came another, her ears pinned down, her tail swaying behind her as she tried to roll her hips, desperate for anything Caitlyn would give her.

They pressed into another kiss, their lips parting to allow their tongues to venture into the others mouth, to map out every fang, tooth, and crevasse they could. To memorize each others feel, as if the other might disappear any moment.

Caitlyn’s fingers pumped in and out, Vis pussy squeezing around them at every move, she seemed so sensitive already, almost like this wasn’t normal for her. Like she hadn't exactly taken a lot. It was cute.

“Cait-” Vi gasped as the vampires fingers gave a curled thrust, finding the exact right place to hit.

She smoothed her fingers over the spot, causing Vi to buck her hips, wanting- no needing more so badly it must’ve hurt, at least, that’s what her expression is telling Caitlyn.

The vampire craned her neck down to lick at the bite that was healing over now, just to taste the ghost of Vis blood that still remained on her skin as Caitlyn’s thumb began rubbing circles into the werewolves throbbing clit.

“There it is, hm? My puppy feeling it..?” Caitlyn teased, feeling the build up around her hands.

She gave the wolves flesh a small teasing bite, not breaking skin, just grazing it.

Then another.

Vi didn’t last long enough to receive a third.

She spilt over the finish line fast and hard, soaking her boxers along with Caitlyn’s hand, the mess slick and warm. Perfect.

Vi collapsed into Caitlyn’s arms.

“You could kill me now and I wouldn’t mind” Vi whispered by the vampires ear, sounding entirely genuine about it as she saw stars. Caitlyn smiled. Wasn’t that just the sweetest.

“I think I have a better plan” she pulled her hand out from the werewolves clothes, looking at them gleaming in the midnight light. She held them up. “Open.” She demanded, and Vi easily gave in, taking the digits between her lips.

She suckled them without a second thought, cleaning her own mess off of Caitlyn like it was second nature.

Once she was done, the vampire grabbed Vis hands, leading her away.

Caitlyn didn’t quite know why but for some reason something about this wolf called to her, made her yearn for more and more, and right now? She feels like she just can’t get enough of it.

Was it stupid for her to bring her one natural enemy right into her home? Definitely. Probably the dumbest thing she’d ever done. It was a different story on whether or not she cared though.

There was a chance, a rather large chance actually that this Vi werewolf would wake up in the morning in a Vampires apartment, realize she’d been bit, and kill Caitlyn without a second thought, but, that was a risk Cait was more than willing to take if it meant she had a chance of getting more of this girl in any sense. Even if it was with Vis hands wrapped around her throat.

Caitlyn had brought Vi back to her penthouse, laying her down in the plush fabrics before going to change into a soft silky bed set only to lay beside the half conscious girl.

As soon as she did though, the werewolf moved to cuddle into her, burying into her chest and arms as if Caitlyn had any warmth to give her. Luckily the wolf was just in a tank top and sweats, so she could easily sleep in her clothes, Caitlyn probably didn't have anything that would fit her frame anyways, not when nearly all her clothes were tailored exactly for her curves.

Suddenly the wolf spoke “You gonna drain me?” Vi mumbled, looking up with these giant puppy dog eyes.

“I think I’d rather keep you” Caitlyn responded, leaning down to kiss Vis forehead.

“Good” Vi cuddled up further, her tail swishing noisily against the sheets behind her. “Good.”
