Knock knock! Someone was knocking on winters door.
The knock scared winter some much that it awoke him, "Winter..? Are you awake if not I can come back later. "
Winter reconsider that voice, it was Riptide he was nice with Winter, helping him make the enclosure for the scavengers Winter got. "Winter...?"
"Oh yeah I'm awake sorry, I was... " winter saw the painting his was trying to paint of Moon, kinkajou, Qibli and Peril. Before he fell asleep. "Sleeping I'm hoping! " Riptide answered through the door. "Uh yeah..? Anyway what do you want? " Winter said as he hurriedly put the painting away.
"Oh it's just a letter, from jade mountain. I don't know what's it's about, but I think I heard Tsunami talking about a get together. " Riptide said "do you want It orrr..?" Winter opened the door quickly and snatched the note out of Riptides talons. "Umm yeah thank you! " And slammed the door in is face. "Uhh ok just let me know if you need anything..?"
"Yeah, yeah now FUCK OF!" Winter snapped back, obviously mad.
Riptide walked away without saying another word.
Winter quickly opened the letter cutter the edge so the card slipped out.

We are inviting you to a celebration! We where thinking of inviting our first year students back after 2 years!
It will be held at jade Mountain as the student currently attending will be doing a trip around the mountains, we cant wait to see you!

The next full moon seemed to be five days away so Winter needed to set up a plan.
Winter quickly cleaned up his room and walked over to Riptides.
Knock knock!
"Heyy soooo, Riptide, im sorry I was rude I had just woken up can you look after my scavengers while I go to jade Mountain in three days?" Winter said quickly grinning (which was rare for him)
Riptide looked Winter up and down.
"Fine, just because they where fun to look after last moon." Riptide agreed. (TO winters relief)
"Do you rember how to feed them and stuff?" Winter asked again worried about his scavengers. "WINTER. Three moons i looked after 10 days ago i have amazing memory. " Riptide said.
"Oh well I guess that's about right... well im goingbto get ready!" Winter ran off back to his home. Which left Riptide standing by himself.
'Ok I gotta pack EVERY THING im going to need. To food and snacks and dress to wear for the special night!' Winter grabbed a bag and chucked in a thew frozen fish treat, a head gear, his bracelet which he put the little black stone moon gave him which for the life of him couldn't rember what is was called, a few more bracelets, if he saw people dress normally then he will. Period.
After four days of anxious waiting and excitement it was time to go, Winter was so excited! He grabbed his stuff and left, the friendly and leafwing silkwing friends he made and Riptide behind i mean it was just for a couple of days, what could go wrong? Right?
