Work Text:

"W, Wait, Supervisor—w-where's your condom?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"You… You promised you'll wear one whenever we—Ah!"

Baek Saheon was cradled up in Kim Soleum's arms, feeling his chest resting against his back.

It was comforting. It was hot. Scorning hot with the heat in their bodies pressing against each other. Baek Saheon felt his stomach coil at the overloaded senses all over, with his mind slipping out.

"Just once. Let's do this just once, hm~? I'm sure you'll like this as much as I do."

"B, But…!"

He felt the breathy chuckle right next to his ear that made Baek Saheon's ear tingle red.

Hot. Everything felt too hot.

"Saheon-ah, even if you get pregnant, so what?"

Hot, Hot, Everything is— Everything is—!

A pair of lips pressed against Baek Saheon's ear, trailing down to the side of his neck, until it settled on the crook between his neck and shoulder. Hot puff of breath touching his skin as the kiss pressed a smile.

"It's just proof that I love you."

Oh.

"Right?"

Right. Baek Saheon's mind faded completely.

He no longer protested.

Two weeks after that, the consequence of such recklessness came in the form of two vivid red lines on the pregnancy test on Baek Saheon's hand.

He couldn't bear to shoulder this news alone. He didn't want to accept this responsibility on his own.

A child cannot be made with just one person. So surely, the only right thing to do was to inform the other person, right?

Kim Soleum had not gone to meet him privately again after that night, so he had no choice but to visit Kim Soleum's office and tell him then.

"…Supervisor, I'm pregnant."

Baek Saheon took out the pregnancy test and held it in his shaky hands. He wanted to show the proof to Kim Soleum. He wanted to hand it over so he wouldn't be alone.

But Baek Saheon's hands were shaky. He couldn't move his arms even when he wanted to. His mind was in chaos, his heart in a jumbled mess.

He knew they messed up when they messed around with each other without protection. They had always been careful before. It's just… It's just…

That was supposed to be a one-time thing, so how could this have happened?

They only did it once. They only had sex without a condom once. But Baek Saheon's body had completely betrayed him, accepting and growing something it shouldn't have.

Pregnancies are scary. Baek Saheon had been scared of them. Baek Saheon is so scared that he could hardly think straight and wanted Kim Soleum to hold him, to comfort him, to share his warmth.

"Is it even mine?"

Only for Baek Saheon's hopes to shatter at that response.

"…What?"

Kim Soleum looked at him with indifference. With the same coldness he showed before they began sharing each other's bed.

The sight of it made Baek Saheon's heart drop.

Kim Soleum shrugged his shoulders, leaning against his swivel chair, and rested his feet on top of his desk. Looking like he couldn't be bothered by the news.

Baek Saheon tightened his grip on the pregnancy test, his fists trembling from how tightly he was holding on. Somehow, the feeling of the pregnancy test digging into his skin helped him remain grounded.

"Supervisor… You… You can't be serious. You know how I've only… I've only ever been with you—!"

"Are you sure you didn't sleep around?"

Baek Saheon was in disbelief.

Kim Soleum's nonchalant gaze moved in his direction, a silent accusation marked within those black irises with hues of red.

"For all I know, you screwed around with multiple guys, and now you're not sure who among them is the father, so now you came to me hoping that I'd take responsibility on their behalf."

Baek Saheon tried to open his mouth. He tried to say something, anything. But the accusation had hammered itself into his mind, forcing his brain to shut off, making his lips tremble helplessly without any sound coming out.

Baek Saheon's eyes drooped, his head slowly lowered in shame.

The man who claimed his body repeatedly for several nights had condemned him for a sin he didn't commit, washing off his own hands to get out of this situation, while Baek Saheon is forced to face the reality that a life is growing inside him—

—And the person who used to whisper love and adoration to his ears each night betrayed him like this, leaving him on his own.

"…No. I didn't…. I didn't do it…."

"Last week, weren't you with that brown-haired civil servant at the bar?"

"I didn't—!"

"Did he take you inside? Rented a room and fucked you senseless?"

"No, I—"

"Or could it be that section chief who asked you to join the lunch meeting? Did you really just have lunch together? Or was he eating you out?"

"I would never- with anyone els—!"

"Or that foreign investor who's taken a liking to you. Baek Saheon, be honest with me, did you like how big he was?"

Drip.

Tears clouded Baek Saheon's sight, all falling helplessly to his face.

The man he gave his body to, his heart to, kept finding faults over his actions that were never impure to begin with. Yet as the accusations continued to rain down on him, Baek Saheon was wavering. He began to think that maybe… maybe he really was touched by someone else. Maybe he did allow someone else to lay a hand on him.

No.

He only ever loved this scumbag in front of him.

And that was Baek Saheon's biggest mistake.

"…I'll take my leave."

His words came out quieter, shakier than he would have wanted. But Baek Saheon no longer had the mind to care about that.

He felt… humiliated. Utterly humiliated.

Peeled off all the layers he had, stood with his bare body before him, only to be denied love in the end.

Baek Saheon felt like a fool.

And he didn't want to feel this way a minute longer.

He bowed to his supervisor. Or at least, tried to without stumbling down.

"…Apologies for the disturbance, sir. I… I will never speak of this again."

Baek Saheon had to drag his feet out of Kim Soleum's office, never again to set foot there.

Before the office hour ended, Baek Saheon handed in his resignation letter, packed his things, and left everything behind.

He vacated his apartment and moved to a completely different country, in a remote city where no one knew him, and no one would find him.

If Baek Saheon were forced to live with this shame forever, then he would rather it be somewhere where no one knew anything about him.

Free from gossip. Free from rumors.

Free from judgment.

Free from that condescending gaze that stared him down while accusing him of being a whore.

Baek Saheon willingly left everything behind.

Even if it meant living a quiet life away from what almost felt like home.

Funny that Baek Saheon almost accepted that scumbag as his home, only to be thoroughly put off like this.

Baek Saheon swore that he would never be able to forgive that bastard for making him feel this way, for turning his life upside down, for making him happy, only to push him to the deepest pit of hell.

He would never forgive Kim Soleum.

But he also couldn't live without him.

Baek Saheon was a mess. An utter mess. A bundle of an entangled mess that couldn't be fixed.

He hated that Kim Soleum pushed him away like this. He hated that Kim Soleum refused to acknowledge him and the child inside him.

He hated that despite how Kim Soleum had obliterated what little self-esteem he had left, he still wanted to be with him.

Baek Saheon had never imagined a life without Kim Soleum since the day that scum said he loved him.

Baek Saheon wanted to believe in that love.

Perhaps, he was only deluding himself back then that the love given to him was sincere.

And perhaps, Kim Soleum was Baek Saheon's downfall.

Baek Saheon lived a quiet life as if he were a dead rat.

Three months had passed since then.

A tapping sound against the wooden surface resounded, as a soft hum came right after.

Fingers drummed on top of the desk, obvious thoughts forming in the air, but thoughts that cannot be read from the expressionless look displayed on the man's face.

It seemed as if Kim Soleum was waiting for a miracle. But in actuality, he was simply watching as the clock hand moved, waiting for the hour to pass.

'It's about time it arrives.'

Right. Kim Soleum was not simply watching the clock hand, but was also waiting for an update to the letter he had submitted this morning. A letter that he had painstakingly worked hard for since the year began.

He didn't like the agonizing wait he had to endure. He didn't like that he had to stay in his office much longer than he wanted.

All he wanted now was to run his fingers through those soft brown locks, watch as those pathetic green eyes crinkle and fold from intense pleasure, bite down those lips that only knew how to say his name.

He wanted Baek Saheon under him, in his arms, locked away from everyone else's eyes.

When Kim Soleum closed his eyes, the memory of 'that' day played out again.

'Supervisor, I'm pregnant.'

Of course he would be. Kim Soleum had bred that body all night long, making sure not a single drop of his semen leaked out from that hole he filled.

Kim Soleum had thoroughly marked Baek Saheon as his, whispering promises that even death would not dare to take them apart.

But Kim Soleum can't just admit his love now, can't he?

It wasn't enough.

Baek Saheon's dependence on him… It wasn't enough yet.

So Kim Soleum had to break him. He had to break Baek Saheon's ego, his selfishness, his remaining autonomy.

A Baek Saheon who can think straight has a chance of leaving him.

A Baek Saheon who was still sane has a chance of doubting him and coming to hate him.

So Kim Soleum had to push Baek Saheon off the cliff.

'Is it even mine?'

Before diving forward to join him in the fall.

Of course Kim Soleum knew the child was his. He would never let another man lay a single finger on Baek Saheon.

His Baek Saheon.

His beloved pathetic little wet puppy that should only get wet for him.

Kim Soleum would decapitate the hand that dares to touch him. Kim Soleum would burn every fiber of any audacious bastard's limb for daring to desire his Saheon.

Kim Soleum wouldn't hesitate to get blood on his hands.

No one is allowed to love Baek Saheon other than him.

'Last week, weren't you with that brown-haired civil servant at the bar?'

Right. That civil servant placed his hand on Baek Saheon's back, attempting to make his Saheon join him inside the bar.

Kim Soleum had driven the car and run that guy over, breaking his legs in the process.

But of course, Baek Saheon didn't know that.

He didn't need to know.

His innocent little puppy should only have thoughts of him.

'Could it be that section chief who asked you to join the lunch meeting?'

That section chief? Pfft.

The plane he rode on his last business trip exploded in the middle of nowhere. His remains were probably lost at sea, never to be seen again.

That was the consequence of looking at Baek Saheon for more than five seconds, and daring to have lunch with what has always been Kim Soleum's.

But whatever. Kim Soleum is benevolent. He would never hold it against his Saheon for sharing a meal with another guy.

He just needed to get rid of the guy to cancel out that lunch, right?

'Or that foreign investor who's taken a liking to you.'

Did Kim Soleum ever mention that he would never let Baek Saheon taste someone else's cock, or let anyone else's cock ram his favorite hole?

Kim Soleum had cut off that foreign investor's dick personally, leaving a bloodied mess all the way to the top floor, where he had dragged that foreign investor's body to.

He contemplated throwing the body over the rooftop, letting his brain meat splatter across the ground floor. But thinking about Baek Saheon possibly seeing the sight, Kim Soleum decided against it.

Instead, he tortured that foreign investor before scattering his remains in the garden to feed the crows.

Kim Soleum would do anything for his beloved Saheon.

Ah. Those tearful eyes… The despair in his gaze… The hate, the desperation, the shame

It took everything in him not to strip Baek Saheon naked, bend him over his desk, and fuck him senseless.

Kim Soleum was a beast when it came to his pretty crier.

But he had to hold back.

He had to break Baek Saheon's spirit and heart.

He had to push him away.

He had to.

He had to.

He had to, he had to, he had to

"Supervisor Kim, your one-month vacation request has been approved."

Ah.

Finally.

He can finally make those beautiful green eyes shed tears for him again.

"Thank you."

Really. Thank you.

Now, Kim Soleum can go get back his lost princess.

Finding Baek Saheon was as easy as breathing. No matter which country he goes to, no matter which city he locks himself away, Kim Soleum would always find him.

It was only a matter of turning on the tracking device he had attached to Baek Saheon's left eye.

Poor puppy didn't even know that his slightly blind left eye was only functioning well because of the device Kim Soleum had thrust into his irises that one time he was too out of his mind from pleasure.

He has no idea how indebted he is to Kim Soleum. Baek Saheon can't even begin to imagine how much more of his body has been modified to accept Kim Soleum's everything.

Bet even right now, his holes are aching from missing Kim Soleum's body.

Baek Saheon would never be his own person again.

Ah, there he is, that beautiful snake nestled in bed, oblivious to the embodiment of desire standing right before him.

Kim Soleum reached out to the sleeping Baek Saheon.

"Jagiya…"

Pressing his face on the familiar nook of Baek Saheon's neck, fitting perfectly like puzzle pieces, finally reunited.

"Jagi…."

Even while asleep, Baek Saheon let out a soft whine and moved his body into a position where he could accommodate all of Kim Soleum's needs.

Their bodies entangle smoothly, their hearts beating in sync.

Finally.

Finally.

Kim Soleum licked Baek Saheon's neck, moving his kisses to his collarbone. Baek Saheon relaxed under him, ready to submit and respond.

The feeling of Baek Saheon's warmth made Kim Soleum chuckle. He planted a soft kiss on Baek Saheon's cheek before brushing his fingers through Baek Saheon's bangs, while his other hand slowly made its way to his stomach.

There was already a slight bump. Feeling it against his palm made Kim Soleum giddy.

"Jagiya, we'll finally be together now."

Kim Soleum whispered against Baek Saheon's lips before stealing a kiss.

Ah. Those soft lips he missed. Finally, he could kiss him again.

"Mmm…"

Kim Soleum watched as Baek Saheon's eyelashes fluttered before his hazy eyes revealed themselves.

It took everything in him not to rip Baek Saheon's clothes and let him feel how much he is desired.

"…Soleum?"

The groggy voice that came out went straight to Kim Soleum's pants.

Kim Soleum spread soft kisses all over Baek Saheon's neck once again.

"Yes, love. I'm here now."

A mewl came under him, until it turned into soft moans. Kim Soleum pressed his palm flat on Baek Saheon's stomach, spreading the warmth he felt to his body and to their child.

"Soleum…. Soleum-ie…."

"Saheon-ah."

"Soleum—Hic… Don't leave me…"

Kim Soleum bit down on Baek Saheon's neck, leaving him marked and owned.

"I'll never let you go. You and I will be together forever now."

"You can never run away from me again."

"You're forever mine."

Baek Saheon blinked his eyes open, a dark ceiling greeting him.

No. It wasn't just the ceiling. His surroundings were completely dark with no hints of light anywhere.

"Huh?"

Where is this place? Where is he? The last thing he remembered was sleeping on his bed after feeling too tired from cleaning the house.

Baek Saheon squirmed and tried to move, but his limbs seemed to be restrained, a cold metallic touch on his wrists.

Baek Saheon tried to pull his arms down, but they barely budged as he was pinned down.

"Ugh…!"

W, Wait… Under there… Why was it cold under there?

Baek Saheon can feel the soft cotton material of his top, but he can feel the cold air on his thighs.

No. Was he not wearing anything below?!

Baek Saheon panicked. What the hell was going on?!

Click.

The door in front of him opened, and light from outside poured in. Baek Saheon tried to lift his head to see who had arrived, but before his eyes could adjust, dim lights surrounded the room.

"Ugh!"

Baek Saheon flinched, squirmed, instinctively forced his thighs together, and shut his eyes from the sudden intrusion of lights.

Even though dim lights were used, it was directly above him, almost blinding him when it was suddenly turned on.

"Jagiya, are you awake?"

Huh?!

"K, Kim Sol… Eum…?"

The familiar hum confirmed his suspicion. Baek Saheon opened his eyes and saw that Kim Soleum was now standing on the foot of the bed, looking down on him with his usual nonchalant eyes.

No. Kim Soleum's gaze was piercing through Baek Saheon's pressed thighs.

This made Baek Saheon squirm and want to cover himself away from his sight.

"B, Bastard—! Where are you looking at?!"

Baek Saheon screamed. His voice hoarse and shaky.

His body was ready to give in. His heart was screaming his name. His mind was begging to be defiled.

Baek Saheon's instincts wanted nothing but Kim Soleum's touch.

He felt ashamed of himself. Three months of no contact, of swearing never to forgive Kim Soleum for the humiliation he made him feel that day, yet at the sight of Kim Soleum staring intensely at his naked thighs was enough to make him want him again.

Baek Saheon didn't think he would be this easy. He wasn't like this before.

Maybe, maybe everything changed about him since Kim Soleum first kissed him.

Perhaps he had become someone who cannot live without him.

Kim Soleum's gaze shifted, his irises swirling with cold desire.

The sight of it almost made Baek Saheon spread his legs, and it took everything in him to keep them shut.

"Jagiya, why do you not miss me?"

"W, Who would even… Who would even miss you?!" Baek Saheon screamed even though his throat felt like it was pressing down on him, forcing him to be silent and just give in.

But Baek Saheon's pride had been bruised. Baek Saheon's heart had been hurt.

He would never forget the way Kim Soleum denied him and his child.

He could never forget the cold voice calling him a whore who slept around.

Baek Saheon's eyes stung until tears pricked the corners of his eyes.

"You… You've denied me and our baby…. You said you won't take responsibility for me… So what the hell are you doing now?! Why are you restraining me in this— in this…! Urgh….!"

Baek Saheon can't tell what kind of room this was. It seemed quiet. Too quiet. Like he was out of anyone's reach, of everyone's sight.

Baek Saheon felt a gnawing fear crawling up his spine. His hands are pinned down by metal, his lower body exposed for Kim Soleum to see.

If Kim Soleum were to do anything to him here, he would be too powerless to fight back or defend himself.

The fear was eating away at his mind, mixed with the worry that Kim Soleum might hurt him and his baby. Before he knew it, his gaze had clouded over from the tears falling from his eyes.

"When did I say I won't take responsibility?"

Baek Saheon gritted his teeth, trying to glare at Kim Soleum as best as he could despite the blurry sight of him.

"You asked if the baby was yours."

"Right." How infuriating that Kim Soleum had the gall to tilt his head as if he couldn't understand Baek Saheon's wounds. "But I was asking you to confirm it, not to deny it."

Baek Saheon felt dumbfounded.

"…Huh?"

Kim Soleum shook his head and sighed.

"Jagiya, did I explicitly say that I won't take responsibility?"

Baek Saheon couldn't answer.

He tried to think back to that day but… Did Kim Soleum really deny the baby?

No, no, no— He, he did not… But then he also… He also….!

"You… You accused me of sleeping around…"

"Did I?"

Huh? What's with that reaction? Why was Kim Soleum looking at him with doubt?

No. No. Baek Saheon remembered it clearly. He recalled it vividly…!

"You- that… That civil servant… a, and section chief— and… F, Foreign…!"

"Saheon-ah, civil servant, section chief, and foreign…? Foreigner?" Kim Soleum frowned slightly, as if he couldn't understand what Baek Saheon was trying to say.

"You never met people like that."

"Huh?"

Baek Saheon's pupils trembled.

What is he talking about?

What the hell is he talking about?!

Kim Soleum sighed before walking to the side of the bed and sitting right next to him.

Baek Saheon felt like he was losing his mind.

Kim Soleum stroked his head gently, just like how he used to. Baek Saheon nearly screamed at himself for relaxing under his touch.

As if his accusations back then didn't destroy him. As if being thrown away and abandoned didn't crumble his world apart.

"Saheon-ah, you know that I would never let another man touch you."

Baek Saheon couldn't respond. His body had already betrayed him and melted while Kim Soleum continued to stroke his hair.

"I'm the only person you have ever slept with, right?"

R… Right.

Right.

Baek Saheon knew that, too. Which was why he was sure this baby was Soleum's.

"Saheon-ah, I'm the one—" Kim Soleum stopped stroking his head, and Baek Saheon almost cried for the loss of touch. Only for Kim Soleum to gently press his palm on Baek Saheon's stomach. "—Who fucked a baby inside you."

"Ah…"

An indignant mewl left his lips before he could even hold back.

Kim Soleum chuckled. Then, he shifted and leaned forward until he was close enough to whisper in his ear.

"You're the one who ran away, Saheon-ah."

"Hnngh…!"

Baek Saheon turned his head guiltily. Feeling a pang in his heart.

Right… He did… He was the one who… He was the one who left Kim Soleum behind.

He was the one who ran away, thinking that he should raise the baby alone.

"Why did you do that?"

Why did he do that?

"Why did you leave me behind?"

Why did he think he could live without Kim Soleum?

A pathetic whimper left Baek Saheon's lips as he tried to move his arms to wrap them around Kim Soleum and pull him closer, but his wrists remained restrained.

"Do you hate me?"

"N, No…! No! Supervisor… sir…! I— I— hnngghh…"

His face was once again wet with tears as he cried helplessly.

"Soleum… Soleum…. I was so scared… I was so lonely…."

Baek Saheon's sight was completely obscured by the tears that continuously fell. He couldn't see Kim Soleum clearly, but it seemed that Kim Soleum was towering over him and seemed to be fumbling around…

Huh?

The metal cuffs around his wrist loosened. Baek Saheon quickly moved to grab onto Kim Soleum's arms.

Baek Saheon found himself crying harder.

"Soleum, I…"

He felt Kim Soleum holding him in his warm embrace. It melted all of his sadness away, yet it also made his heart ache for a different reason now.

Why did he leave Kim Soleum behind?

Why… did he try to abandon this warmth?

"Shhh… Saheon-ah, it's okay. I forgive you."

"Hngh… Soleum… Soleum…."

He felt the familiar soft lips pressed against his temples.

"It's okay. It's okay now. We're together now, and we'll never separate again."

Kim Soleum guided him up and pulled him until he was nestled on Kim Soleum's lap, pressed against his chest, wrapped around his embrace.

Baek Saheon let out a soft sigh while nuzzling even more into Kim Soleum's arms, as if that would fully imprint themselves on each other's bodies.

"I… I'm sorry… Can we go outside now….? This… This place scares me."

"No."

"Huh?"

Baek Saheon froze.

Why… Why does Soleum sound cold? Why? Why does he sound angry?

Baek Saheon teared up and quickly checked Kim Soleum's face.

Kim Soleum looked expressionless. That terrified Baek Saheon to his core. His body began to tremble, pupils quavered, shoulders shook.

Baek Saheon looked like a terrified house pet who had displeased his master.

Baek Saheon didn't want to displease him. He really… He really didn't…!

Kim Soleum's gaze softened, stroking Baek Saheon's hair again.

"Saheon-ah, what if you try to leave me again?"

Baek Saheon flinched.

"N, No…! I wouldn't…! I won't do it again…!"

"Really?"

"Yes… I really won't do it again…. Soleum, I… really…" Baek Saheon sniffled. "Please don't be angry anymore…. I'll be good from now on… I'll never leave you again."

Kim Soleum hummed. He seemed to be seriously considering it before he shook his head.

"What if you betray my trust again and leave?"

"I really won't….!"

Right now, Baek Saheon looked like he was ready to do anything just to be forgiven. He must have hurt Kim Soleum really badly when he ran away, right? Kim Soleum would have never gotten angry with him if Baek Saheon hadn't messed up.

Right. It was all Baek Saheon's fault. He'd make up for his mistakes. He'd do anything for Kim Soleum to love him again.

Kim Soleum's eyes folded.

"I'll believe you if you stay in the basement until I'm sure you won't leave me again."

Huh? This room… This place… It's a basement?

Baek Saheon panicked, his body vibrating nonstop.

He couldn't move. He couldn't resist. Not when Kim Soleum has him completely locked in his arms.

"Jagiya, didn't you promise you won't run away again?"

Huh? Did he say something like that?

Did Baek Saheon promise that?

Baek Saheon fell into confusion. He can't seem to get things right. His memory kept failing him.

Earlier, he was mad at Kim Soleum because he accused him of being a whore, but then Kim Soleum said he never did that.

And then… And then… Baek Saheon left him without a reason. Right. He ran away because he was angry, but… but…

Why was he angry again?

Oh, right. Kim Soleum called him a slut who slept around—No! Kim Soleum just said he never said that! What is wrong with his mind?! Why is his mind villainizing Kim Soleum so much?!

Baek Saheon couldn't understand himself anymore. It felt like his mind was playing tricks on him. He didn't know what to believe in.

He heard a soft sigh which made him stiffen.

"Huh?"

Kim Soleum placed a soft kiss on his forehead.

"As I thought, you're still thinking of running away, aren't you?"

Baek Saheon flinched. Guilty.

But Kim Soleum didn't look angry anymore. He was even carding his fingers through Baek Saheon's hair, lightly scratching his scalp.

Baek Saheon's confusing thoughts halted as he melted on Kim Soleum's hand.

Kim Soleum chuckled.

"Stay in the basement for now, Jagiya. Once I'm sure you won't leave me again, I'll take you outside, okay?"

Hm. Right. He still has Kim Soleum. As long as he pleases Kim Soleum again, then they'll go back to how they used to.

They'll live happily ever after, raising their baby together.

If Baek Saheon can't trust his own mind, he'll just have to trust Kim Soleum.

Right?

Baek Saheon smiled prettily, his eyes growing hazy.

"Okay."

Baek Saheon would be the happiest as long as he stayed with Kim Soleum, putting all his trust in him, even if it meant completely giving up his autonomy.

End.
