Chapter Text
So... they fired him.
Valko didn't exactly completely understand what he did wrong.
He read the letter in his hands yet again, his heart dropping just looking at the words Letter of Termination in big, bold font at the top.
Dear Valko ████,
We regret to inform you that your employment with Love and Deepspace Co., Ltd. will be officially terminated on...
He sighed and skimmed through the paper.
...You are not permitted to disclose any company trade secrets...
...Please list and return any property...
...The reasons, as quoted from reviews: "too masculine," "too tan," "too Western," "too gay," "too—"
He groaned.
Too gay?! he thought. I am at most bi. But that was one time!! He smirked. And that only depends on if the one controlling the MC is a guy, he chuckled, winking to no one in particular.
Sigh... Well, I suppose I'm out of a job now, huh?
His tail sagged to the floor like a deflated balloon, his ears acting similarly—all six feet and two inches of him filled with an overwhelming sadness.
He whined like a puppy, though thankfully he was alone in his apartment, so no one could see his utter tristesse.
Valko heard his phone buzz. It was either one of two things: a death threat or another death threat.
He sighed again and picked up his phone.
To his surprise, it was neither of those two very different things.
His tail went from deflated to wagging vigorously again, as if someone threw him a tennis ball.
The muscular wolfman looked for a job online immediately after receiving the news regarding him being fired, and just a few hours later, they responded?!
(Without an interview too. That's how you know this is a fanfic.)
He grinned as he read the e-mail.
I-I...
I'm going to be a therapy dog...!!
