Sherman Peabody’s washing machine broke.
Had it been the dryer, he could have hung the wet clothes in his backyard while his golden retrievers, Rocky and Natasha, chased squirrels.
But it was the washer, and he wasn’t giving up cable during NASCAR season to replace it, so he ended up at the laundromat.
With his neighbor.
Marty stuffed a pair of sleeping bags, some sheets, and a dusty serape in the machine beside him. He hopped up on the table and set his cowboy hat next to the infamous Mountain Dew hat.
“You go camping, too, Sherm?”
Sherman smirked.
“No.”
