Chapter Text

Scene opens in the hall of a state-of-the-art medical clinic.

The grand opening reception is the epitome of class and elegance; people dressed in their finest clothing, chatting and laughing while drinking champagne. Waiters in formal attire serve the guests cocktails and hors d' oeuvres. The guests help themselves at the buffet, picking between the delicacies the catering service provided for the occasion.

A man in a navy blue suit, probably in his late 70’s, sways into the crowd with a young hospice on his side, assisting him with his walking when necessary. People talk to him, congratulating him on his newest project. He smiles and waves them back and heads to a group of people gathered beside the swimming pool, most likely to be his associates.

"The new clinic looks amazing, Mr. Jones. I have a feeling this is one of our most successful endeavors..." a young man exclaims with a hint of arrogance.

"Isn't it great? Six years of hard work finally coming into life... I still remember when we were first making the blueprints" the older man says with relief.

He laughs with his partners joining him, satisfied with their project being finally fulfilled. He starts to feel uneasy. His vision starts to get blurry. A man in a suit sees that the chairman is in distress.

”Sir, are you okay?” the young hospice asks, evidently upset.

But the older man doesn't answer. He appears to be losing his balance. She reaches out to help him but it's too late. He falls on his knees. Guests gasp at the sight of the man lying unconscious on the floor.

"Are you alright, Mr. Jones? Please, talk to me" the young hospice stutters, terrified.

"Someone call 911" one of the guests says but it fades into the background.
