The inappropriate moment

Summary:

Sirius' nipples piercing is healed enough for James to touch it. But he can't. Because Sirius told him about it at the most inappropriate moment

Work Text:

It's a typical Saturday evening at their flat. They have invited Remus, Peter, Dorcas, Marlene and Lily for dinner, as they haven't seen their friends for three weeks, in other words, forever, but it's the cost of being an adult with all these things that take a lot of time.

Remus and Dorcas arrive last, and everyone, both hosts and guests, comes out to greet them in the hallway.

As soon as the couple enters the flat, James immediately looks at Meadowes with betrayal in his eyes:

- You gave Sirius the nipple piercing and didn't even tell me! And I had told you so many funny stories about Remus.

Remus widens his eyes, taken aback by this fact, by both of them, and his girlfriend laughs loudly:

- I had given Rem the Prince Albert, but you weren't so upset that I didn't tell you.

Lily and Marlene giggle. Peter looks like he's struggling between wanting to know more and wanting to forget about this information once and for all.

Remus blushes, and Sirius pats him on the shoulder in greeting and consolation.

- That's different, - James mutters, wrapping his arms around the girl, hugging her.

- Isn't Remus your friend, like Sirius? - she chuckles.

- That's hurtful, you know, James, - Lupin snorts in mock offense.

James looks equally embarrassed and guilty. It's not like he's ever going to look at Remus' private parts, but... Okay, that doesn't mean he's a bad friend. He's never been in love with Lupin.

- Don't be sad, Remus, - Sirius laughs. - James wants to say that Dorcas should have warned him about something that would blow his mind, - and then he turns his head sharply towards James. - Wait, I just have to know if you've touched Remus' penis piercing.

- Oh, James, and his habit of touching everything! - Marlene grins. James gives her an indignant look.

- Now I should know, too, - Dorcas looks suspiciously from her boyfriend to James.

- No, of course not! - James screams, holding his palms out in front of him in a defensive gesture.

- As if I'd let you, - Remus echoes him.

Sirius sighs theatrically in relief, and Dorcas gives James a mock-suspicious look. Everyone laughs again.

- Come'n, let's go into the living room, don't keep the guests on the doorstep, - Marlene changes the subject. - I can smell the eggplant parmigiana.

- It's the only thing James can cook, - Sirius laughs as they return to the spacious living room and take their seats on the armchairs and two sofas. It was a good idea to buy two armchairs and two sofas, considering they have so many friends and have managed to keep them over the years since graduating from school and university. The furniture is arranged around a coffee table, allowing them to see each other and have easy access to the food and drinks on the table.

- It's not my fault it's so good, - James defends himself.

- Well... I'm not complaining, you make them almost as good as that restaurant in Sicily, - James frowns indignantly when he hears the word "almost", and Sirius kisses him on the cheek, then sits on James' lap instead of his own armchair, and everyone makes a disgusted sound.

- They're like an old married couple, - Lily murmurs.

- They've always been like this, - Peter nods.

Everyone looks thoughtful, then nods and agrees loudly.

James and Sirius just laugh. There's no point in denying it, their friends are absolutely right.

Then they start talking about other things: work, personal life, plans, sharing funny stories and complaining about their problems, supporting each other, and having a great time.

The living room is filled with the sounds of voices, laughter, encouragement, and shouting. The food on the table quickly runs out. As Marlene and Dorcas start to argue over the last piece of pizza, James pats Sirius on the hip.

- I'm gonna heat up the pizza.

Sirius, who is currently arguing with Lily and Remus about the new medical licensing regulations, nods absently and rises from his lap to allow James to stand up.

James collects the empty plates, pleased to note that his eggplant has been devoured completely and rather quickly, and exits the living room.

At the door, he turns around, admiring the view.

The happy faces of his friends, the smile on Sirius' face. He's comfortably settled in the armchair in front of the coffee table littered with record sleeves, a chess box, and the Monopoly game that they might play together later, along with plates filled with leftover snacks.

The gray eyes shine in the warm light of the ceiling lights and the variously shaped lamps that stand here and there, on the floor, on the shelf, and next to the record player.

James once thought that it wouldn't last forever. That one day, Sirius would meet a woman or man with whom he would want to build a serious relationship, for which he would leave this place, which they jokingly refer to as the residence of Mr. Potter and Mr. Black. Who would have thought that James' feelings were mutual. And who would have thought that a dream would become a reality thanks to a pair of piercings on Sirius' chest.

Sirius laughs at something Marlene said, and James' eyes are fixed on him.

Sirius opens his eyes and looks at him.

James smiles at him completely involuntarily, his lips just spreading into this stupid, loving smile when Sirius looks at him with such love.

- Potter, stop admiring your boyfriend, we're waiting for pizza, - Lily snorts with a laugh.

James theatrically blows a kiss to Sirius, who no less theatrically catches it and presses it to his chest.

Their friends are making fun of them.

- I can't believe they've become even more codependent, - Peter chuckles.

- Yeah, I thought they reached their limit in primary school when they were trying to be seated at different desks, and they handcuffed themselves together with the handcuffs that they stole from my father at work, - Remus laughs. Then his mother said with a smile: "when they grow up, they'll probably be together". And his father said: "when they grow up, they're probably going to end up in prison".

After entering the kitchen, James puts two pizzas in the oven: a margherita and a meat pizza.

He opens the refrigerator and decides to quickly slice more ham, mozzarella, and tomatoes.

He likes it. It reminds him of his parents having parties with their friends at their house in the suburbs. He likes to imagine him and Sirius as a married couple. Although they're not married. Not yet.

The kitchen is filled with the aroma of fragrant dough and basil, and the knife taps steadily on the wooden board as he slices the tomatoes into circles.

He puts the pieces on a plate, trying to do it nicely, even though he knows that as soon as he puts the plate on the coffee table, his friends will eat it right away.

The warm hands rest on his hips over his jeans, and James startles.

- The piercing are healed, by the way, - the low voice whispers in his ear, with a hint of temptation in it.

James turns around in his boyfriend's arms and finds himself face to face with Sirius and his seductive grin that makes James' throat go dry and a knot of arousal twirl in his stomach.

Laughter and the voices of their friends could be heard from the living room.

- Seriously? You're talking about this right now? - James raised his eyebrow.

The grin grows bolder and more cunning. Sirius clearly knows what he's doing. Playing with the lion.

- You can touch it now. If you want...

James groans silently.

- If I touch your chest now, we won't be back in the living room anytime soon, - he snorts.

- Okay, - the warm hands disappear, and Sirius grunts to leave.

James grabbed his arm, stopping him.

- Fine. I doubt I can sit with this thought for a few more hours. Or maybe I should ask them to leave?

Sirius turned to him with a triumphant smile.

- And be known as inhospitable hosts? - he tilts his head to one side as he steps closer.

- It’s not the end of the world.

- Effy will be horrified.

- Pull up your t-shirt, Sirius, - James says in a low voice.

- Bossy, - his boyfriend chuckles. - I like it, - hhe says, and lifts up his t-shirt with one hand, exposing his pale skin.

James' gaze slides from the bottom of his stomach, decorated with a tattoo of deer antlers, over his abs, up to his chest.

The taut muscles that James loves to squeeze, the neat pink nipples decorated with silver piercing beads.

James reaches out and cups Sirius' chest. He slides his hand lower and presses his thumb to the nipple. It's soft, velvety, and tender, but quickly hardens under his caress. He strokes it a few more times, lightly scratching it with his fingernail. Sirius lets out a soft sigh. He places his other hand on James' shoulder, squeezing it as if trying to maintain his balance.

James' fingers wrap around the steel ball and twist it slightly.

- Ah! - a soft sound escapes Sirius' lips and goes straight to James' cock.

James strokes the aureole with his thumb again, then tugs at it slightly.

Goosebumps crawl across Sirius' skin, and his torso arches at the waist, his chest exposed to James like an invitation to a feast, and drool begins to pool in Potter's mouth.

He grabs the metal ball and pulls it slightly to the side, and Sirius groans. A little louder than he should have, considering they're not alone in the flat.

- Shh, - James whispers, but doesn't even think about removing his hand from his boyfriend's chest, continuing his little exploration. Unfortunately, he'll never know if Sirius' nipples were as sensitive before the piercings.

James rubs the nipple again, then tugs at it with the very tip of his finger.

- Mm..., - Sirius' voice is full of pleasure, his body trembling slightly, and James feels a strong desire to repeat those same movements on Sirius' chest with his mouth.

He's about to lean over when Sirius' hand slides into his hair and gently grabs it, holding him in place.

- That's enough, - Sirius breathes.

And James finally looks up from his chest to his face. The smug smirk is gone. The look of pure lust on his boyfriend's face makes James' cock twitch again.

It's too late for James to stop. His fly is bulging, and his cock is threatening to break the zipper on his jeans.

Sirius, who had done a slightly better job of trying to behave decently, grinned widely when he saw what he had done to James.

- I'll take the pizza to the living room, and in the meantime, you think about something nasty. Don't even think about jerking off in the bathroom. After guys leave, I want you to play with them again with the same enthusiasm.

- You'll regret this, - James smirks.

- Oh, make me, - Sirius takes the pizza out of the oven and turns over his shoulder to wink at him.

When James is alone, he remembers all the lawsuits he has lost.

When he returns to the living room five minutes later with snacks, no one comments on his long absence. And that's a good thing. Because he's not sure that question won't flood his head with colorful images of what he was doing just minutes ago.

This time, Sirius sat on the sofa between Peter and Marlene, directly across from James' armchair.

It didn't take long to understand the reason for this choice of seat.

Sirius stretches, raising his arms above his head, then leans back against the sofa, resting his hands on top of it. In this position, the thin fabric of his T-shirt reveals the outline of the metal balls in his nipples.

Sirius looks at him from under his eyelashes, confirming that this is a show for James.

James shakes his head slightly, warningly, admonishingly. But Sirius only leers at the corner of his lips.

And if, when their guests leave a couple of hours later, James spends a whole half hour teasing Sirius, playing with his piercings with his fingers and mouth, wiggling his ass on Sirius' crotch, then Black, growling with impatience and desire, has definitely earned it.
