"Oh, Papii, you got another brand deal! Congratulation." Gun jumped into his partner's arms, kissing his neck happily.
"Hmm..." The tall male hummed in reply. The lack of excitement immediately alerted the little actor. Sliding down on his boyfriend's lap, he looked up with concern. The frown adorning the tall male's face made him almost panic.
"What's wrong, Papii? Aren't you happy?" Gun asked, confused. Off sighed, turning his head away. The gesture sent a jolt of pain into Gun's heart. His Papii never refused to look at him.
"Did I do something, Papii? Why aren't you looking at me?" The question escaped his lips as a whimper rather than a complete sentence. The older male, startled by his choked voice, immediately glanced at him.
"Tell me, Papii, please. So Gun can make it better again." Gun pleaded.
"No, no... It's not you, Ter. It's not you."Off gently grabbed Gun's face in his palms, pulling his head closer as their foreheads touched.
"If it's not me, then what is it?" Gun tried again, nuzzling his face into the warmth of his boyfriend's hands.
"I feel bad..." Off confessed. Gun pulled away slightly, looking confusedly at his other half. Off's arms slid down, wrapping around his waist and securing him in place.
"I got another job, but you didn't..." Off continued.
"Oh, Papii..." Gun sighed, relieved.
"You are so talented and beautiful, yet every possible brand deal is coming my way."
"And you deserve them, Papii. You are talented and handsome, too. Gun is so proud of you." Gun leaned closer, giving him a quick kiss.
"Besides, I am too preoccupied with Gente now. I wouldn't have much time for it anyway." Gun smiled. Off nodded reluctantly.
"I know, just..."
"No, stop, Papii. Gun is happy for you, so Papii should be happy too." Gun said firmly, not letting space for any argument. The older nodded again, a small smile finally appearing on his face.
"Good... Now show Gun what you can bring him from the store." Gun nestled against Off's chest, waiting for the older to pull out his phone and scroll through the new brand's site.
