Hiring MY Baby Daddy

Summary:

Hiring a baby daddy was supposed to be simple.. just a contract, no strings attached. Nothing more than an arrangement.

It never crossed their minds that it would turn into a disaster.

One was promised love and a complete family — something real, something that would finally stay.

The other… fell in love.

But for the hired baby daddies? It was never meant to be anything more than a job.

So what happens now, when one is already holding on and the other is ready to walk away the moment it’s done? Will this become the family they both needed or just another contract that ends when feelings begin?

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Jihoon is running out of time… or at least, that’s what it feels like.

At thirty-five, single, and watching his friends build the kind of family he’s always dreamed of, one thing becomes painfully clear:
he doesn’t just want a child.. he needs one.

Even if love isn’t part of the plan. Ironically, the people around him aren’t exactly doing it right either.

Take Jeonghan, for example—currently pregnant, chasing after the man who fathered his child.
The same man who disappeared the moment he found out.

And yet… despite everything, Jeonghan still chose to keep the baby.

Love? Complicated.
Family? Even more.

Jihoon has tried everything. Dating apps, blind dates, setups from well-meaning friends. Wala. Nothing works.
Either they’re unbearable… or hindi niya ma-imagine na magiging ama ng anak niya.

So when Jeonghan casually hands him a card, and Jihoon tells himself there’s no harm in trying.

It’s simple:
1.) A contract.
2.) No strings attached.
3.) It ends the moment he gets pregnant.

Madali lang… diba? Then he meets Soonyoung.

And suddenly, what was supposed to be just a transaction starts to feel dangerously personal.

Because falling in love was never part of the agreement and Soonyoung?

Para sa kanya, trabaho lang lahat.

So what happens now?

Will Jihoon finally get the family he’s been dreaming of or will he end up just like Jeonghan left holding onto something that was never meant to stay?
