Chapter Text
“Look I know you're already restless but even I can't go out the rains gonna fuck up your systems hella”
>K
“I genuinely can't tell if you're upset or you just talk like that”
Andre shrugged and looked over at Collin.
>U decide
Collin chuckled slightly before throwing himself onto the couch.
“So watchu wanna do for the next couple of days”
Andre tried to think of literally anything to do, but there wasn't a lot in this small house. His chat couldn't seem to find any solutions either.
Soupbegone: bro what do we even do
Sidisquish: Collins right there
Soupbegone: can someone freaking ban her I can't deal with this
Conzercheez: can you two ever stop fighting
Andre chose to ignore his chats bickering and return to the window. He could barely see outside anymore, night had begun to fall and the rain blurred the windows so heavily. Collin sighed and wandered over to their chests against the wall, floor creeking as he did.
“I'm hungry you want food?”
Andre nodded his head and watched Collin pull the different ingredients from their chests. Andre didn't care much for eating, only having enough to sustain his player-like body, but he always felt more inclined to try food if Collin was the one that made it.
That totally didn't need to be looked into.
Actually when Andre thought about it, he did a lot of things because Collin did them.
When Collin told him to slowly plant the crops in an alternating pattern, he did it (well he tried his best)
When Collin wanted mushrooms and other plants for “real food” instead of just bread and beef, Andre went and got some.
When Collin told him to stop mixing chests and keep them organized, he did his best to.
When Collin-
Fuck.
Why did he think about Collin so much? Was it because he was the only person he saw? But Andre had never been one to give much thought about a person.
“Andre? Are you there?”
Andre snapped to attention, startling Collin. In his hands he had a plate with chicken, mushrooms, and a bit of cooked carrots. Andre had never thought to cook something as small as carrots, they were a means to fight hunger when spawning in a village. Andre took the plate and sat criss cross. He was handed a small wooden fork (one Collin had very roughly carved out) and began to eat. His first instinct was to eat it all as quickly as possible, but one stern look from Collin got him to slow down.
“You're going to choke if you eat like that dude”
Andre had never had that problem, he didn't know if he could, but he listened regardless. He did his best to “savor his food” though he didn't really know what that meant. Each bite was warm, something Andre liked a lot. Before he knew it he had finished his plate. He finally got up for the first time in the last hour, a record for him. Half-hazardly placing them on the edge of the sink he quickly made his way over to Collin to wait for him to finish, a strange habit of his that at the start got him swatted away in annoyance, but was now accepted.
“Ye ye I'm hurrying up, it's not my fault you eat so fast”
Andre just quietly sat and watched Collin, the way his hands softly gripped his spoon, the way he moved so smoothly and easily, the way his curly hair hung over his face. Andre found himself closely analyzing Collin a lot, maybe it was his need to collect data, but he had saved every bit of info about Collin he could. Andres really loved his eyes in specific. Soft ever exhausted eyes, detailed with eye bags and freckles that covered his face. Andre wished to touch his face so badly, he wasn't sure why, he just wanted to feel the soft warm skin, something he himself didn't have.
“Uh Andre? You're staring again”
Andre blinked slowly and quickly looked away, heat rising in his face.
>Srry
Soupbegone: bro we just embarrassed ourselves ughh
Feargray: :pepefear:
Sidisquish: we can't help it Collin is to pretty (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
Conzercheez: Sidi how did you even type that
Ego: I like looking at Collin I think
Andre tried to ignore his now active chat and stood up. He aimlessly began pacing around the room, something he likes to do often. The floorboards softly creaked under him, a noise that greatly annoyed Collin.
“Andre please my head already hurts from the bullshit outside”
And so Andre stopped, not easily, his entire system was telling him to get up and move. But he stopped, and opted for plopping himself onto the floor. He laid himself down on the cold floors, a small clink being made when metal and wood met. He liked to lie on the floor, curled up into himself. His bedroom felt too secluded, too small, it made him feel trapped.
He heard Collin giggle from the place he was sitting.
“Dude- why are you on the floor like that”
>Comfy
>Near u
That second message seemed to shut Collin up, and left a pink tint on his tanned tired face.
“The couch is like right here you know”
Andre looked at him, then at the spot in the couch next to him. He hauled himself up from the floor, almost tripping from the speed he ended up using. He made his way over to the couch before letting himself collapse on it. Collin flinched away for a second and his body seemed tense. Andre positioned himself similar to how he was on the floor. His head was so close to Collin he could practically feel his body heat against his hair. He was sitting straight up next to Andre as if scared of what would happen if he moved slightly. Collin slowly but surely relaxed his body, until his thigh was just slightly pressed against the top of Andre's head. Though it was the slightest bit of contact, Andre's heart was practically racing, and Collin wasn't faring much better. It was quite, really quiet but Andre didn't mind it at the moment.
