Izuku’s in class, just teaching until the bell goes off, he walks with Shoto back home
“Hey Izuku, I’ve got a question.”
“Yeah Todoroki-kun?”
“What does it mean if a girl tells me I’m funny after I ask her out?”
“Well um, she’s rejecting you…” Izuku says uncomfortably
“Oh, well okay. Do you and Bakugo want my reservation? Or are you still in a relationship with Ochaco?” Izuku practically freezes
“Hey! Not so loud… I can multitask by the way.”
“I… don’t really care... do you want the reservation, Izuku?”
“Um okay, where to?”
“Fat’s Staircase To Food.” Which is a romantic restaurant, made by the fat gum himself, it takes around seven months to get a reservation someplace like that.
“What!” Izuku yells loudly “Are you joking!? I dream of eating there!”
“Cool.” Todoroki says nonchalantly, “Now the question is, which one are you taking?”
Izuku says “I might just go alone, Todoroki.”
“Izuku I’m no expert but this is not a place you wanna go alone. I mean unless you want to feel depressed and alone. That part is up to you I guess.”
“Well in that case, I’ll invite Kacchan.”
“Cool. Have fun, and be safe.”
When Izuku gets home he’s overjoyed, he thinks for a moment and then texts Bakugo. ‘Hey! Me, you and fat gums fancy restaurant? ;)’ He types with a big grin, Bakugo doesn't answer but there are three dots that disappear. Weird. He’ll just ask his side chick
“Good afternoon Ochaco, hope you’re not busy, wanna go to Fat's restaurant at 7?” Ochaco responds with “Of course! I’ll see you.” Izuku is a little disappointed but really wants to go.
At 7, Ochaco shows up in a cute yellow dress, white kitten heels and a flower clip in her hair, she’s holding a cute Coach bag that’s also white. She looks really put together and she smells awesome, like candy.
But oh no, Bakugo is also here, he’s in a red suit with a black dress shirt and red dress pants, it’s wine red colour which is Izuku’s favourite. He’s wearing a black tie and smells like leather and cherry. The perfume that puts Izuku in a daze.
But the real problem… he double booked.
“Ochaco? Who are you here with?” Bakugo says with confusion and a slight smirk
“Who are you with?” Ochaco says joking around not knowing that her smile is about to fade
“I’m with Izuku.”
“What? I’m with Izuku.” They both stop looking at each other and look at Izuku, who's red from embarrassment, they both walk over also slightly embarrassed
“Izuku! What’s going on?” Bakugo asks angrily
“I…um- I asked you to come with me, and you never responded.”
“No I’m pretty sure I hit the send button” He says looking at his phone then realizing he didn’t actually send it “Well I guess I never hit send…”
“And then you called me. Your second option.” Ochaco says , almost like he’s wasting her time.
“What! It’s not like that!”
“I seriously cannot think of anything else that explains this. Have a good night! He’s all yours.” Ochaco storms out
“You know, I think I’m gonna head home too.”
“Can’t we just stay, talk and have some wine!”
“No, Izuku we can’t!”
“What! Why not!? I’m so sorry, let's talk please!”
“No! I’ve tried to act okay with the fact that I’m one of the two people you’re dating which in reality I’m not! I’m really really not, because I like you very much! And I just hoped, one day you would realize that I’ve been waiting for you. And you never see it…”
“Kacchan. Please.” Bakugo storms out and Izuku is about to cry, he gets a message from his phone. ‘How’s the date, Izuku?’ He takes a shaky breath and leaves.
“Oh…that makes sense I guess, I’m sorry.” Shoto says the next day
“Don’t be sorry. It’s my fault for wearing my heart on my sleeve when I knew it would leave me defenseless.” Bakugo says softly
“No but I pushed him to…you know, meet me after shifts are done, okay?”
“Yep. You got it…”
“Kacchan? What are you doing here?” Izuku asks waiting outside of Shoto’s agency
“Could ask you the same.” He says not looking up.
“Hey guys, thanks for meeting with me” Shoto says calmly “So I lied. I wanted the two of you to talk.”
“What the hell!? Like you can’t read a room!?” Bakugo yells
“No, stop. It was my fault. Izuku was going to go all alone and depressed! I pushed him to invite you, he was going to go alone because he didn’t want to make trouble for you!”
“I-is that true?” Bakugo says questioning Izuku
“Yes! It is, I want it to be you so bad Kacchan. I really do.” Izuku starts yearning lol
And then bakugo and deku start sloppy making out and shoto joins them /j bye love u
