Chapter Text
Winchester Ranch.
The name travelled in whispers, passed between omegas like a warning no one dared say too loudly. It was where the difficult ones were sent. The defiant. The ones who didn’t learn fast enough. No one quite knew what happened there. Only that it worked.
It was run by John Winchester, with the help of his sons. Sam oversaw the omegas’ education. Reading. Writing. Arithmetic. Structure. Routine. He insisted they be useful. Capable of running a household without error, of assisting quietly, of fitting into the roles carved out for them. Progressive, some called it.
Sam didn’t tolerate disruption. An omega who talked back learned quickly. An omega who failed to complete their work learned faster.
Dean handled discipline. Where Sam brought structure, Dean brought results. He didn’t waste time on lectures or raised voices. Those were for omegas who still thought they had a choice.
Dean preferred quieter methods. He knew exactly how long it took for defiance to break. How much pressure to apply, when to ease off, when to start again. There was a rhythm to it, he’d once said. A kind of practice.
