Summary:
Upon hearing that O'Neill has arrived in the SGC, Carter gets him a souvenir

im sobbing over the artemis ii crew and the recurring phrase "we love you from the moon" and i just had to do something with it im just stuffed with love and tears
Work Text:
“This is the Hammond, we're passing the moon,” Carter radioed.
“Read, Hammond. See you soon,” Harriman answered. “General O'Neill will be waiting for your debrief.”
“General O'Neill is there today?” Carter asked. He wasn't supposed to be there for three more days.
“He is.”
Carter subtly triggered the transporter beams, making sure no one noticed a small object materialize in her ready room.
Moments later, she beamed herself into O'Neill's office, placing the clump on his desk.
“What's this?” he asked, and Carter grinned.
“A moon rock.” She leaned over to kiss his temple. “I love you from the moon.”
