Notes: First please note that the chapter number may change as I write, since some episode rewrites take two or more chapters to finish.
Skipping most of the Eggman stuff in "Skirmish in the Sky." The flying base (partially) exploding only an episode after Eggman's previous base gets blown up feels unnecessarily redundant. Eggman can still be presumed dead (in this case from the base explosion) and still have his flying base without having yet another clash with Metallic and co. right away.
UPDATE (April 27th 2025): We're skipping Skirmish in the Sky entirely because aside from the fact that we plan on Amy updating her outfit to one of the outfits she tried on in that episode, people being weird towards the Mobian cast + Chris, and Eggman revealing his flying base, nothing important happens in that episode. Amy updating her outfit can always be covered in narration or a flashback, and Eggman can just do his reveal in the "Depth of Danger" rewrite.
I'm skipping Sonic's Scream Test because I've never seen that episode and from what I've read on the TVTropes page, it sounds a little too scary for me to want to watch or rewrite. I might reference the events in some way in a later chapter, but I don't really want to put myself through a not fun time just to rewrite that episode.
I'll also be skipping "How to Catch a Hedgehog" because it A) doesn't look like a fun episode to adapt, and B) nothing important happens in that episode anyway. I'll usually rewrite the filler episodes if I feel like there's a chance to get some fun chapters out of it, but if it doesn't feel like there will be any fun chapters that come out of it I'm not gonna bother.
