||”This just in! A Report stating that a Total of 39 have gone missing with 3 out of the 39 being found. Victims say that they didn't know where they were and didn't remember anything from when they were missing. We don't know who’s the one behind all of these cases but we have multiple detectives and protective services investigating this case. That's all for JNC.Have a great day and stay safe.”||

Sae turned the tv in front of him off,making the room go pindrop silent.He got up from his chair and headed to the Chiefs office,knocking on the door twice from walking in.
“Chief..”
He said,voice stern and cold.The familiar voice making Ego look up from his screen.
“What.”
His tone was sharp as he looked at Sae,He was always the same with his other detectives he hired.
“About that New case with those missing people.”
“Go on.”
“I want to investigate it alone,Under cover to be exact.I’ve done research and figured out that those cases are always reported at a Mansion in Yamanashi.The Set up is always some sort of part so..”
“So you're telling me that you want to go on this mission,ALONE,fully aware that you might not come out alive.?”
“Correct.”
“...Are you sure about this Sae? You are one my Best Inv-”
“I already said I was sure four eyes.”
Ego’s eye twitched slightly at sae’s attitude.
“Well fine then. But don't blame me if you get hurt or worse.Die.”
“Just shut up.I’ll see you once I come back.”
Sae walked out of Ego’s Office but was met with a rather loud idiot..
“Yo,SAE!!”
{“Great..Just what i needed before a life or death mission..”}
“What do you want Lorenzo..”
“So..I heard about you going on that crazyyy missing persons mission and you better make it out alive!! And can you buy me some popcorn,pleaseeee?”
Lorenzo said,leaning towards sae,blinking ‘innocently’ while grinning.
“No..buy it yourself zombie..”
“UGHHH FINEEEE!!!”
Lorenzo whined as sae walked away from him,leaving the office building and getting in his car,heading to his apartment and parking in front of it.
He headed inside his apartment,took his shoes off at the front door and headed to his room.He sat down at his desk and turned on his computer,opening up his email.
He knew about this case before it was announced on the news so he was able to research about the case before anyone else,with all the research he did he was able to get an invitation to one of those ‘parties’.
He accepted the invite email and got ready.These events always took place on the 10th of each month,only 13 people were invited each month and now he was one of those 13.. The dress code for the party was ‘formal’ so he had to look for something nice to wear.
Sae got up from his desk, put on a nice black suit and grabbed his notebook,tucking it under his suit before heading back to his car to head to the Mansion that was listed in the invite.
He parked at the front of the mansion,got out of the car and headed inside. As soon as he got inside,he was met with loud voices and loud music.
He was there for hours but the only people he really talked to were Shidou,Kaiser and Ness,the only ones he trusted out of everyone.
“Dont you guys think it's weird that only 13 people were invited to this party..?”
Ness asked,rubbing the back of his neck.
“Eh,It's fine,besides this party is pretty damn fun!”
Shidou loudly cut in before the other two could,swinging an arm around Ness.
“I guess you're right..I’m gonna go get another drink so I can deal with your craziness…”
Kaiser said,walking away from the three.
“Hey! We’re not that crazy right?!”
“Eh…”
“Nope, you’re the crazy one..”
“I-HEY!!”
Ness giggled while Sae just sighed,crossed his arms and looked away from shidou to face Kaiser.A chilling feeling ran down sae’s spine as he watched Kaiser walk away..
After all of that,Everything at the party was normal with chatter and ‘Guide’ by Steve Lacy filling the air..Till everything went quiet and dark. Making everyone stop their conversations.
{“Hm..The lights went ou-”}
“AHHH!!”
A Loud scream was heard somewhere within the mansion till it went silent. But in a few minutes the lights turned back on. They were all confused but decided to find the source of the noise,still a bit shocked by the sudden scream.
Eventually Sae,Shidou and Ness found a room with blood coming out the closed door.. Sae stepped forward and opened the door. Inside was Aiku’s lifeless body with a knife in his chest and blood pooling under him.
He stepped towards Aiku’s Body to check it out while the others arrived at the room,Some covered their mouths in shock while others stared in fear.
“No pulse..It just happened a few minutes ago so the murderer must’ve choked him then stabbed him,cutting off his pulse completely.”
Sae muttered,turning to the others.
“So there’s a murderer at this party…”
Karasu asked,voice filling with worry.
“Seems so.”
“Isagi!!! We’re all gonna die here!!”
Bachira whined,clinging onto Isagi’s arm.
“No we’re not..We’re leaving this place..”
Bachira let go of him as Isagi walked to the front doors,He tried opening it but it didnt budge.
“I-It wont open!!”
Isagi said,voice laced with panic as he turned to the others who were coming over.
“What the hell do you mean that it won't open!?”
Shidou shouted,annoyed.
“So we’re stuck here..?”
Yukimiya asked,ignoring Shidou's question.
“I guess so..But there’s a freaking murderer here,PLUS A DEAD BODY???”
Otoya said,pointing vaguely at aiku’s dead body in the other room.
“This is so not glam..”
Aryu muttered, running his fingers through his hair.
“There’s nothing we can do about it idiot. If we’re stuck here then I'm going to sleep.”
Barou turned to the staircase and walked over.
“Hold on! What about the dead body?!”
Sendou shouted at Barou.
“We can’t do anything about it,besides it's literally midnight,we can figure it out in the morning..”
“He has a point,we can't do anything about it so we all should just go to bed.”
Sae said,voice firm as he looked directly at Sendou.
“Alright then,I’m gonna go find a room to sleep in..”
Kaiser said,walking away from the group. They all went to different rooms to sleep in for the night,Some fell asleep and some stayed awake. Sae was in a room by himself,he took his notebook out of his tuxedo and opened it.
[DAY 1:”The Party started normal at first with loud music and a lot of people talking at once till the lights went out,it was only out for 5-10 ish minutes and during those 5 to 10 minutes we heard a scream.
Once the lights turned back on we searched the house and me,shidou and ness found a closed off room with blood coming out. In the room was Aiku’s dead body with a knife in his chest. We also learned that we’re locked in this mansion with no way to escape. I’m not sure whats gonna -”]
“BOO!!”
“AH!!”
Shidou’s stupid jumpscare managed to scare sae,making him jump and stare at shidou with wide eyes before going back to his cold and serious one.
“What was that for demon..”
“Oh? What's with the sudden nickname~?”
Shidou chuckled as he looked at sae,a playful and mischievous glint in his eyes.
“It matches your stupidity..”
“Awhh,so you think about me? Thats so cute sae-chan~!!”
“Just from the thought of you thinking about me I feel like my cells are gonna burst~!”
Shidou had a wild grin on his face.The last part was either the truth or a “calmer” version of the truth..
“Hm..”
{“I know im not religious but whoever’s up there,PLEASE save me from this freak..”}
“Well,I’m getting sleepy…Can we go to bed?”
“You can. I’m not stopping you.”
“Can I sleep in here with you sae-chan~? Pretty pleasee?”
Shidou said,leaning closer to sae while blinking ‘innocently’
“Like I said,If you want you can”
Sae looked back at his journal and kept writing.
[“-Happen next. The murderer is definitely someone at this party,I'm not sure who it is but I know it's not Aiku because he’s obviously and it's not Shidou or ness since they were with me. I’ll just wait till tomorrow to start trying to figure out things.”]
Shidou laid down next to sae and fell asleep.
{“Seriously..With all this space in here,he decides to sleep next to me…Whatever i’ll just let him be and go to sleep since im exhausted.”}
Sae put his notebook back in his tuxedo and laid down next to sleep,falling asleep as well.
