Chapter 1: When The Devil Comes Knocking...

Summary:

One chance encounter, within some back end bar, is all it takes to change everything…

Notes:

Hello guys Badger here. Back again with a new story for you all.

This story is actual a crossover between Harry Potter and the Lucifer Netflix TV show. This is a story I had on my FFN account and it was massively popular. For some reason, out of all my stories, people seemed to love this one a lot. I was only able to post 3 chapters but I didn’t want to abandon it, so I decided to bring it here too so I can continue it. There are a few minor changes, but this chapter is more or less the same as the original.

But that’s all for now, read on and I hope you enjoy…

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

…

October 1979, (2 years before the attack):

Within the dimly lit pub, in Somerset, a somber and quiet Lily Evans took a seat at one of the stools on the bar. Others may have warned her that it was unsafe to do so, especially with the war against Voldemort getting worse. Not to mention the pub in question was more than a little bit seedy, but she needed to get away from everything for a moment and catch some air. Besides if anyone tried to tell her that she won't be safe, once again, she feared that she was going to snap. Especially after she just had a fight with her fiancé, and soon to be husband, James Potter. Their first proper fight since their relationship started. The two have had arguments in the past, but nothing that was as big as this.

They had been discussing final plans for their wedding that's coming up in a few months, and that's when Lily brought up the idea of going into hiding should things get worse.

Lily wanted a family, she wanted to have kids. However, she felt like she couldn't have that with the war against Voldemort still going on within the Wizarding World, so she brought the idea up with James. The idea that they should go into hiding to raise any kids, or should things turn more dire.

That's when things turned sour.

James didn't like the idea of going into hiding. He found the idea to be cowardly, and he wouldn't want to just abandon their friends and the war effort at the drop of a hat. And he had been very vocal about his opinion on her idea. That damn Gryffindor stubbornness of his. Of course, Lily could understand his argument towards the idea yet he didn't seem to understand nor listen to her argument, be it because of pure stubbornness or simply because he didn't care. Their argument then turned into a full on fight, until Lily had enough and decided to leave before she said or did something that she would regret.

James had tried to stop her, telling her it could be dangerous to be wandering about the place alone. However, Lily didn't care. She told James to just give her some space, before leaving.

Which is what led her to the pub she now resided.

Lily loved James, she really did. However, his damn stubbornness and refusal to listen to her arguments or reasonings had irked her greatly. Granted she was equally as stubborn, which is often the reason why their arguments started. They were both just too stubborn to properly listen to one another. She just hoped that they could move passed this argument. Especially with their wedding day just around the corner. Once Lily had a drink or two to cool off and clear her head, she planned to go back so she and James could hopefully have a calm conversation like the adults they were.

However, Lily had been so caught up in her own thoughts and stewing that she hadn't noticed someone sit on the seat besides her. That was until they spoke.

"So what's a beautiful woman like you, doing in a sad and dingy place such as this?" They said, in a smooth voice.

Lily looked to her side to find a man sitting beside her. A man who hadn't been there just a few seconds before. A man like none other she had seen. As he sat there, Lily could feel that the man had a magnetic and charismatic aura about him. Like it was pulling it. Not to mention he was handsome. Devilishly handsome. Slick, dark hair with a face many male models could only dream of having. He also had a short stubble that crossed his jawline, like he didn’t shave this morning. Though this didn’t mar his looks, if anything, it made him more handsome. Lily blushed a little, just being in his presence. The man was dressed in a bespoke, black suit that made him stand out amongst the bar whose current patrons were dressed more casually. Or more dishevelled, in the case of some of the more unsavoury looking people that were sat in some of the booths.

Lily then cleared her throat, trying to regain her some of her composure and senses, hoping to stop her blush from spreading more across her face, before speaking up.

"I…I'm sorry…" She said, "Who are you?"

"Forgive me, allow me to introduce myself…" The man replied, extending a hand, "My name…is Lucifer Morningstar…"

Lily looked at his extended hand for a second, before she accepted the gesture. As their hands touched, Lucifer then moved her hand up to lips where he planted a small kiss against her knuckles. The blush on Lilys face merely grew brighter, spreading even more across her cheeks, causing her to clear her throat again.

"You didn't answer my question…" Lucifer then said, his accent smooth and like that of royalty, "What would a beautiful woman like you be doing in a bar like this? It’s hardly the place for someone like you."

"I…I've just been having some problems is all, just needed to get away for a few hours…" Lily replied, "What about you…why are you here?"

"I guess you could say I've taken a…vacation, quite recently…" Lucifer said vaguely, "But enough about that, why don't you tell me more about this problem of yours?”

Lily paused a moment, unsure on what to say. She couldn't exactly tell Lucifer much about everything that's been going on. He's a Muggle. If she told him about her troubles, she would be breaking the Statute of Secrecy. Even if there was a war going on, she could still get into trouble for that. Breaking the Statute could see her faced with being imprisoned in Azkaban, if the Ministry believed the crime to be severe enough to warrant such a punishment. People had been locked up for much less. However, as her eyes met Lucifers, she felt an urge to tell him. His eyes were almost entirely black in colour, like she was looking into an inky and dark abyss. They felt overpowering and intoxicating to look at.

The piercing black of Lucifers eyes reminded Lily of Snapes, in a way. Both equally as sharp, as well. The only difference being that, when Lily looked within Lucifers gaze, she felt a magnetic charm to them that seemed to be drawing her to them. Like she couldn't look away, even if she wanted to. Lily felt an urge to tell him, though she wouldn’t tell him everything. At least, nothing that mentioned the Wizarding World.

"Well…it's to do with my fiancé!" Lily sighed, "We had our first proper fight earlier today…I want to start a family but…I don't want to raise them in a potentially dangerous area, so I want us to move somewhere else, somewhere safer…but he doesn't want to, as he doesn't want to just leave our friends and family behind…he just won't listen to my arguments and it turned into a full on fight!"

"I'm sorry to hear that…Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!” Lucifer said, a light smirk on his features as he put a hand on Lily's knee, "Perhaps I can help you…"

Lily looked down at Lucifers hand on her knee, before she looked up to meet his gaze again. Once more his piercing gaze grabbed her attention, pulling her in. It was intoxicating. As she looked into the blackness of Lucifers eyes, she found herself leaning forward where her lips met Lucifers.

Halloween, 1981:

Godrics Hollow

"Lily! He's here!" James Potter yelled, grabbing Lily, "Go get Harry and run!"

"H…he's here?" Lily asked, her eyes widening, "But James…what about you?"

"I'll hold him off as long as I can!" James replied, "But I'm not important, you and Harry are so please grab him and run as far as you can…go to Sirius, go to Dumbledore, anywhere, just keep yourself and Harry safe!"

Lily hesitated for a moment, tears in her eyes, before she gave in and quickly ran up the stairs to the nursery where Harry was currently sleeping in his crib. Unaware of what was going on. She locked the door, before approaching Harry where she paused for a moment. As she looked at her son, she thought back to that bar. The night she met Lucifer. Lily didn't know what had come over her that night. She felt like she had been placed under the effects of the Imperius Curse, as she slept with the man in a hotel room. Lily never saw him again after that night. In fact he was gone when she woke up the next morning. When realisation as to what happened had come to her, Lily felt guilty. Guilty for betraying James in such a manner.

But she never told him about that night.

She couldn't bear the thought and possibility of what could happen if James knew, even if she hadn’t been in complete control of her actions. So, Lily chose to move on and try to forget that night had ever happened. That was until she found out she was pregnant.

Shortly before her wedding with James, she found out that she was pregnant. James had been ecstatic to hear that they were going to be parents. But for Lily, a wave of horror flooded her. What should have been an exciting moment for any woman, who found out they were going to be a mother, filled Lily with a sense of fear and dread. Dread of the very real possibility that Harry may not be James' son, and instead was actually Lucifers. Lily couldn't be sure as to whose son Harry could be, but she couldn't say anything.

Especially when she had tried so hard to forget what happened that night.

However in this moment, as she looked upon her baby boy in his crib, none of that mattered. It didn’t matter if Harry was James’ son, or if he was Lucifers, conceived after a night of infidelity. All that mattered now was getting Harry to safety, to someplace where Voldemort wouldn’t be able to get to him.

In that moment she heard the all too familiar sound of the Killing Curse, followed by a thud of a body. A cold feeling spread through her entire being, as the realisation that James was now dead. Tears flooded down her face, as she heard the sounds of the Dark Lord slowly making his way up the stairs. Lily knew there wasn't much time left. She didn't have anywhere to escape to, the wards were still up. She was trapped. With Harry still in his crib, she crouched beside him and prayed. Whilst Lily wasn't religious, she prayed to whoever or whatever might be listening that, by some miracle, Harry will be kept safe no matter what happens to her.

At that moment, the door behind her was blasted off of its hinges and sent flying against the room. Lily stood up defiantly in front of Harry, to protect him, just as the Dark Lord Voldemort entered the room. Lily felt fear as she locked eyes with the Dark Lord, but she swallowed that fear and remained where she was, determined to keep her son safe.

"Move out of the way Mudblood, I'm only after the child!" The cold voice of Voldemort spoke from beneath his hood

"Never!" Lily said, sternly, "I won't let you…kill me if you must, but I won't let you kill Harry!"

"So be it…" Voldemort said before raising his wand, "Avada Kedavra!"

The ominous green glow of the Killing Curse illuminated the entire room in its sickly green hue, as the spell shot from his wand and impacted her chest causing her to fall to the floor, dead, with a dull thud. Voldemort didn't even give Lily’s body a second glance, before he turned to the crib where he saw Harry where his brow raised, unimpressed, as the baby looked up at the Dark Lord after being woken up from all the noise.

"You are the child prophesied to defeat me?" He scoffed, "You don't look like anything special…frankly I'm unimpressed…no matter…"

Voldemort raised his wand and uttered the Killing Curse once more. Voldemort had expected the curse to impact the baby and kill him instantly. Just like it had done with every other witch and wizard that Voldemort had killed. So, the Dark Lord was unpleasantly surprised when Harry began to glow a bright light, causing the Killing Curse to rebound and head back straight towards him. Voldemorts eyes widened, but was unable to do anything, before his own curse impacted his body. Voldemort began screaming in agony, as he felt his soul ripping away from his body which began to crumble and burn until it was nothing more than a pile of ash.

Weakened, and nothing more than a wraith separated from its body, Voldemort let out a bloodcurdling scream before his spirit flew out of Godrics Hollow.

…

…

Los Angeles, California:

Within city of Los Angeles a sleek and black 1962 Chevrolet Corvette raced through the streets, without any care for other vehicles, traffic lights or laws.

The driver of the Corvette, Lucifer Morningstar.

He had one hand on the wheel, a smirk on his face, as he rounded a corner at blistering speeds with his radio blaring. All the while the hanging moon in the night sky illuminated both the streets and his car. That smirk faltered slightly, when he heard police sirens coming from behind him. Lucifer rolled his eyes a little, shifting into gear, as he pulled up onto the side of the road. He leant back in his seat, as a police officer pulled up behind him on gotten off of his bike. Lucifer turned off the volume of his radio, as the police officer approached his car.

”Do you know why I pulled you over, sir?” The Officer asked.

“Well…obviously you felt the need to exercise your limited powers and punish me, for ignoring the speed limit…” Lucifer smirked slightly, “It’s okay I understand…I like to punish people too, or at least I used to!”

The police officer looked unimpressed at Lucifers words, and attitude.

”License and registration…” He simply replied

“Coming right up…” Lucifer sighed, reaching into his pocket

Lucifer didn’t have a license of course, never has. He saw no reason for one. Instead he simply pulled out a large roll of dollar bills. He started counting them, which caught the attention of the police officer.

“Are you trying to bribe me, sir?!” He asked, incredulously

”Yes, of course!” Lucifer laughed, as if it was crazy to think otherwise

Lucifer continued counting out the money in his hands before handing a fair amount to the Officer, a small smile on his face. The Officer just looked down at the money before giving Lucifer a look of disbelief. Almost as if he couldn’t believe that someone would actually try and bribe a police officer.

“Sorry, is that not enough?” Lucifer asked innocently, handing the full amount over, “Well go ahead take it all, it’s only money…”

“It’s against the law, sir!” The Officer replied sharply

”You people are funny about your laws, aren’t you?” Lucifer chuckled lightly, his eyes flashing a little, “You like to break the sometimes, don’t you?”

A small smile crossed the Officer’s face, looking around to make sure no one else could hear, before he leaned in slightly.

“Sometimes…” He admitted proudly, “I put my siren on and drive really fast, for no reason at all! Just because I can!”

“Right? And why wouldn’t you?” Lucifer asked with a grin, “It’s fun…it feels good to get away with something doesn’t it?”

”Yeah!” The Officer nodded, before his smile faltered when he realised what he said

“It’s okay Officer…” Lucifer smirked, “People like to tell me things, those deep, dark, naughty little desires that are in their mind…it’s a gift, must be something about this face…”

Lucifer’s smirk grew a little, before he looked down at the bribe money.

”You’re tempted to keep that aren’t you?” He asked the Officer, who nodded, “Well what are you waiting for? Permission? Go on, take it, buy yourself something pretty, you deserve it…”

Lucifer handed the money over once more. This time, the Officer accepted and took the money with a small smile on his face. It almost made Lucifer roll his eyes, at how predictable people could be.

“Now if you don’t mind, I must be on my way…” He said

“Oh, of course” The Officer smiled, “You have a good evening!”

“You too, Officer!” He called, as the Officer walked back to his bike, a smirk on his face.

It was just too easy sometimes, he thought to himself as he pulled back out onto the road and began speeding down the streets, blaring his radio once more.

He continued racing through the streets of Los Angeles, the sound of his engine echoing amongst the buildings, before he made it to his intended destination. His nightclub, known as Lux. The latest hotspot in California for music, alcohol, drugs and women. As music could be heard blaring from within, Lucifer pulled up in front of the building, where a valet immediately made their way over just as Lucifer opened the door stepped out. His eyes piercing and mischievous as he swept his hair back and brushed himself off, his bespoke suit as perfect as ever. Just like the rest of him. Lucifer didn't even give the valet a glance, merely throwing them his keys as he made his way into the building.

Despite it still being pretty early into the night, the club was already in full swing and full of people partying like there was no tomorrow. Lucifer could practically feel all the bad decisions and sin that were about to be made, and it made a small smirk cross his face. He had acquired the Lux shortly into his vacation on Earth the previous year. It was the best decision he has ever made, abdicating his throne and leaving Hell. He’s had more fun in the last couple of years, mingling with mortals and the desperate, then he ever did in Hell.

He has never felt more alive, ironically enough.

As Lucifer walked through the club, his eyes landed on the dark skinned, exotic beauty that was currently tending the bar. Mazikeen, or Maze as she’s commonly known amongst her close friends. Lucifer’s bodyguard and confidant. His second in command of sorts. Maze had been his most loyal friend all throughout their time together in Hell, and she had been more than willing to follow him through those gates when he chose to abdicate his throne. In fact, she was very adamant about it, and pretty much threatened him with castration if he dared to leave her behind. But Lucifer wouldn't have it any other way. Lucifer was than happy to have his friend with him. She was fiercely loyal and witty, if a little promiscuous at times. And coming from him, to say someone was a little too promiscuous, was saying something.

Of course, in the past he has experienced that promiscuity first hand himself.

As Lucifer made his way over, Maze took notice of him before looking down and seemingly giving an order of some kind, where Lucifer saw a man stand up from behind the counter. There’s that promiscuity he was familiar with. Trust Maze to engage in some naughty fun time, during work hours. As the man walked away, a dazed smile on his face, Maze readjusted her skirt as she fixed Lucifer with a sharp glare.

"And where have you been?" She asked, sternly

"Holed up at the chateau…" Lucifer grinned, as he sat at the counter, "Copulating with a woman called Faith…ironic isn't it?"

Maze let out a small scoff of disgust, as she shook her head. Something that made Lucifer's grin grow bigger as he eyed her mischievously, his eyes shining a little.

"Have I ever told you how sexy you are, when you can't handle your emotions?" He teased

"And what emotions might those be?" Maze asked

"Why, jealousy, of course…" Lucifer said

"Try disappointment…" Maze rolled her eyes

Lucifer laughed melodically, and reached for a drink, before he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head. His hand immediately went to his forehead, nearly screaming out in pain and agony as he felt a sharp pain in the back of his mind. Feeling as if something had begun assaulting his senses. The assault lasted a few seconds, before it seemed to die down. It was disorienting, nauseating and downright irritating. Lucifer didn't know what it was, but whatever it was he knew that something seemed to be summoning him.

Calling to him.

Maze had immediately noticed Lucifers pain and discomfort and immediately moved around the bar, to his side, concerned as she put a hand on his shoulders.

"Lucifer, what's wrong?" She asked

"I…I don't know…" Lucifer rasped, throat dry, "But…something happened…I need to get going…"

"But you just got here!" Maze replied

"I know…I know…" Lucifer said, snatching someone's drink and downing it, ignoring their protests, "I don't know what it was, but it seems to be…calling me…close up the shop and wait for me, I'll be back shortly!”

Before Maze could protest or even object, Lucifer disappeared within the blink of an eye. She scoffed, as she crossed her arms. It was just like Lucifer to disappear on short notice and leaving her to deal with things at the nightclub. She loved him, she really did. But as much as she loved him, he didn't half annoy her sometimes. Or even most of the time. However, Maze would be lying if she said she wasn't concerned about what just happened. She had never seen Lucifer in that sort of pain before. Not even when he ordered her to cut off his wings.

Meanwhile, Lucifer followed where the strange attack on his senses seemed to be leading him to. Within moments, he quickly found himself in front of a small house within a quaint English village. Which was a surprise to him. Lucifer hadn’t stepped foot within England since he first left Hell, leaving him to wonder why he had been summoned here of all places. However, judging from the front door that looked to be destroyed and off its hinges, Lucifer had a feeling that it wasn't anything good. Stepping inside, Lucifers suspicions were confirmed. The inside looked like that a bomb had been set off and a fight had ensued. Furniture was destroyed, there were scorch marks on the wall, and various paintings and picture frames had either fallen off of the walls, or been thrown across the room. Almost immediately, Lucifer found a body lying at the bottom of the stairs.

A body of a man.

Lucifer briefly took a moment to crouch beside the man, to see that he had no visible injuries. No blood. No stab wounds. No bullet holes. No broken bones. Nothing. Leaving Lucifer curious as to how the man had died. It's like he had just dropped dead at random. Like he had died from a heart attack, or something similar. But from the destruction around him, that couldn’t have been the case. Something had happened here, Lucifer just didn’t know what. Meanwhile, the destruction that was within the room seemed to continue up the staircase. Leaving the man there, Lucifer investigated further and went up the stairs where he found that the destruction lead to what seemed to be a nursery of some kind, where he found another body. The body of a red headed woman. He paused as he looked upon the woman.

Lucifer remembered the woman. He never forgot a face. He had encountered her in a bar almost 2 years ago, after he first left Hell. Lily, he believed her name was. Just like the man downstairs, there was no visible injuries or signs of what she might have died from.

This made Lucifer even more curious. What was it that could have summoned him to the dead body of a woman he hooked up with once before?

Lucifers question was quickly answered, when he heard a noise coming from the nearby crib. He looked to see a young boy, no older than a year old, laying there. Alive, yet confused at what was going on around him. Lucifer narrowed his eyes a little, as he looked upon the boy. The boy felt…familiar for some reason. However, the instant Lucifer reached out and his fingers touched the boys forehead there was a bright flash, where the boy took on a demonic form for a few seconds before turning back to normal. This made Lucifer freeze, in shock.

He couldn't believe it.

However, the connection he was feeling between himself and the baby couldn't be denied. This boy was his son. There was no doubt in his mind. Lily must've gotten pregnant from their hookup. This must have been what was calling him. But why? What had happened here? Did someone try to kill or harm the boy? Judging from the dead bodies and the amount of destruction present throughout the house, that seemed to be the case. Which only led the question of who done it and where they were now.

They could still be out there somewhere and could come back. Well, he wasn’t about to let that happen.

Picking up the boy from his crib, into his arms, Lucifer looked down at the body of Lily.

"I'm sorry…" He said

With that he then disappeared in a flash, just as someone else arrived at the scene.

…

…

The Headmaster of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, Albus Dumbledore, looked upon the the Potters home of Godrics Hollow with fear. He had been in his office back at Hogwarts, when he suddenly felt the wards he had placed around the home shatter and break. If the wards had shattered, that could only mean one thing. That the Potters had been attacked, and possibly killed. Immediately, Dumbledore made his way over to the Potters home as quickly as he possibly could, hoping that his worst fears hadn't come true. However, when he saw the front door destroyed and blown from its hinges, it seemed his fears were becoming reality.

And then he saw the body of James Potter, at the bottom of the stairs.

Killed by the Killing Curse.

Dumbledore knelt beside James' body, as he closed the man's eyes. Wiping tears from his own eyes, Dumbledore then carefully moved James’ body to one of the couches that was still intact in the living room, laying him down respectfully for when Dumbledore summoned for the Ministry to alert them of what has happened, and to have a burial prepared. With James now laid respectfully, Dumbledore made his way up the stairs in hopes of finding Lily and Harry. Preferably alive and well. But then he found Lily laying dead within the nursery. No doubt standing up to Voldemort, to protect her son. Brave until the very end. As Dumbledore closed the woman's eyes, he spotted something amongst the rubble and dust. A black cloak.

Voldemorts cloak. It was caked in ash on the floor.

Had the prophecy been fulfilled? Was Harry the child of the prophecy, like Dumbledore had initially believed? Dumbledore knew Voldemort would return. The Dark Lord had created Horcruxes as fail safes years ago so, even if the war now seemed to be over, it was only a matter of time until he eventually returned. If Harry was indeed the prophesied one, he would need to be placed within a safe location until it came to Hogwarts, so he can be prepared for when that time comes. Only he would be the one capable of defeating Voldemort for good.

Dumbledore quickly rushed to the crib, only to find it empty.

Panic quickly began to flood the Headmaster, as he wondered where Harry was. The boy had to be around somewhere. He had to be. Dumbledore used a Homenum Revelio on the house, only for the incantation to come up with nothing. Dumbledore began to panic even more, fearing the worst. Harry must have destroyed Voldemort. The prophecy said as much. So where was he? The only possibility Dumbledore could think of, was that someone else must have taken the boy. Which left the question as to who. Perhaps Sirius or Remus was also in the building and had taken Harry, after Voldemort was destroyed. Or, even worse, perhaps Voldemort had been joined by one of his Death Eaters and they had been the one to take Harry.

Dumbledore feared what would become of Harry if the latter was indeed the case. As he lay Lily’s body next to James' and prepared to summon the Ministry and inform them about what happened, he knew he couldn't tell them about Harry's possible kidnapping. It would only spread unwanted fear and panic throughout the rest of Wizarding Britain. Instead, he'll tell them that he's already gone ahead and sent Harry to a secret and secure location. Hopefully, that will give the Headmaster plenty of time to find out where Harry is and what happened.

Dumbledore just hoped that the boy was safe, wherever he may be.

…

…

Back at the Lux, Lucifer reappeared and it seemed that Maze had done as he asked and closed the place for the night. The club was quiet and empty, save for dozens of left over drinks scattered about the place. Some filled, some not. Meanwhile, the boy in his arms was asleep. The baby didn't even stir. Lucifer sighed and carefully placed the baby down on one of the seats, before going to the bar to pour himself a drink. He desperately needed one. As he poured the fresh liquor into a clean glass, he heard the sound of heeled boots walking along the marble flooring.

Maze was clearly still here.

"So, you're back…" She said, a hint of impatience in her tone, "The reason why you left better be a good one!”

"Oh, I have a reason…a pretty big one!” Lucifer said, pointing towards the baby still sleeping on the seat

Maze raised an eyebrow before she turned her gaze to where Lucifer pointed to, before her eyes widened when she saw a small baby boy sleeping peacefully on one of the seats. She then turned back to Lucifer with a fierce expression on her face that demanded answers.

"Lucifer, what have you done?!" She demanded, "Why have you kidnapped this…tiny human?!"

"Why Maze, do you really think so little of me?" Lucifer said, downing his drink, "Besides, this isn't just a tiny human, it's my…son…"

"Your…son?!" Maze asked, in disbelief, "How do you have a son?!”

"I met this woman after we first left Hell…" Lucifer sighed

"And you slept with her…" Maze finished, knowing Lucifer well enough by this point, her tone one of disappointment, "Lucifer…there's no telling what kind of effects a child born from a celestial being and mortal human could have…you have to take the child back…"

"I can't Maze" Lucifer replied, pouring another drink, "Considering the woman and her husband have been killed!"

"They've what?" Maze asked, turning to Lucifer with wide eyes, "Are you sure?"

"Yes…and judging from the amount of destruction left behind in the house, it was no simple break in…" Lucifer said, "I don't know who could have done it, but I wasn't going to just leave the boy there…especially when he's my own son…"

At that moment, the two felt a shift around them like the world seemed to slow down. Maze felt a presence behind her.

"Lucifer, I think we have a visitor…" She said

Lucifer followed her gaze, to see what she was seeing, where his eyes widened a little at the sight of a well built man, with dark skin, wearing ominous grey robes.

"Amenadiel! How's it hanging, big guy?" Lucifer asked, though it was clear that he didn't care, "Didn't you see the sign? 'No angels allowed'…No? I'll make an exception for you, on the house…"

"Lucifer…" Amenadiel spoke in a sharp tone, as he approached, "What have you done?!”

"I've done a lot of things, brother of mine…" Lucifer replied, "Could you be a bit more clear?"

"You slept with a mortal woman…" Amenadiel said, as if the very idea was blasphemous

"Do you have any idea how little that narrows it done?" Lucifer asked, a small smirk on his face

"The woman you got pregnant…" Amenadiel replied, briefly looking to the boy who was still sleeping

"So you felt it too did you?" Lucifer shrugged, downing another drink

"The whole of Heaven and Hell felt it Lucifer!” Amenadiel said, crossing his arms, "Father is not happy…"

"When is Father ever happy…" Lucifer rolled his eyes, "So I got a woman pregnant, so what?"

"Besides the fact that there's no telling what effects a child born with a mix of celestial and human blood can have…" Amenadiel narrowed his eyes at Lucifers carelessness, "It's who you got pregnant is the problem…this boy, is Harry Potter son of Lily Potter…"

"Should I know those names?" Lucifer asked

"Lily Potter was married to James Potter…both of them were from the Wizarding side of the world…"

Lucifers eyes widened, before a smirk crossed his face. He knew about the Wizarding World. How could he not. A bunch of recluse hermits who went into hiding from the rest of the world. Not that Lucifer could blame them. Lucifer bore witness to a lot of witch burnings in the 15th to 18th centuries. With so many men, women and children put to slaughter, all because of paranoia and superstition. It made sense to Lucifer that they would go into hiding. Whilst Lucifer didn't exactly know how the Wizarding World came to be, a project of his Fathers gone wrong no doubt, he knew that they caused a lot of annoyance for his Father regardless. His Father enjoyed watching over his own creations, yet never gets involved with their affairs.

Which wasn’t a surprise. He did so with the rest of the world.

However, it seemed that the magic the Wizarding World had at their disposal made it difficult for Father to overlook them and what they were doing. It always made Lucifer smirk seeing his Fathers increasing annoyance. After casting him down to Hell, Lucifer saw it as a sense of karma.

"So Lily was part of the recluse that is the so called 'Wizarding World'…" Lucifer shrugged, before a thought came to him, "Say, weren't they at war?"

"So you understand why this is a problem…" Amenadiel said, "We do everything we can to make sure the divine worlds of Heaven and Hell are kept secret from mortals, and the Wizarding World can be dangerous…imagine what could happen if they discover our realm, which is what will happen if you keep this…son of yours around…which is why he needs to go…"

"If you think I'm going to get rid of my own son, or cast him down to Hell like Father did me, then you're thinking wrong…" Lucifer said darkly, stepping close to Amenadiel until there was mere inches between their faces, "I have no qualms with carving out your heart and sending it to Father as a warning to leave him alone, if needed…"

"There could be war if you don't, Brother…" Amenadiel replied, not even the slightest bit intimidated

"You and I both know that I have no problems with that, Brother…" Lucifer smirked, "Now, I told you there's no angels allowed…so please leave before I change my mind and follow through with sending your heart to Fathers spiritual doorstep…"

There was a tense silence between Lucifer and Amenadiel, wind seeping through an open window, as the two just stood there looking at one another. Lucifer was silent for a moment, as he held his drink in one hand, approaching Harry. The boy was still asleep, seemingly undisturbed by everything that had been going on around him. Lucifer reached out and gently touched the boys forehead, where he once again felt that same connection, before downing his drink and looking towards Maze.

"We, my dear Maze…are going to raise Hell…" He said

Notes:

And that is chapter 1 done.

I hope you all enjoyed, because this was one of my favourite ideas I had come up with and would like to continue it here. Whilst I’m not expecting it to get as much traction and love as it did on FFN, as long as someone enjoys it I’m happy.

But that’s all for now though, because I am very tired. I hope you all enjoyed and I hope to see you all next time, in whatever story I see you in.

Badger Out!
