A shady bar, Kamino Ward of Yokohama City. Noon.
DEKU confidently sits on the couch, his stature strong. TOGA sits next to him, smiling at him. TWICE stares at him from across the room, with something akin to acceptance. DABI is in the corner of the room, with two glasses—filled with water. SPINNER stands near the door of the bar, as usual. SHIGARAKI smiles next to KUROGIRI.
DEKU
(with intention) So! Have we decided? Shigaraki, draw up any plans lately?
SHIGARAKI
Yes. I have a plan. We’ll get a strong foothold this time.
TWICE raises hand halfway.
TWICE
(with excitement) R-Right. Uh—
DEKU
(acknowledging) Shigaraki! Your plan, explain it.
There is a pause.
SHIGARAKI
…yes.
There is a pause.
DEKU
Shigaraki, we’re all listening! All here! Let’s plan!
There is a pause.
SHIGARAKI

Shigaraki! Shigaraki.

Guys! The reason we all met up right now was to discuss our days, right? Have we forgotten? Haha! Toga, how was your day today?
TOGA

DEKU

TWICE
Toga, you always do describe with so much detail! That’s what makes you so… great! I think Spinner here is getting a little bored though. Aren’t you?

TOGA

DEKU
(with appreciation) No. Actually, no! I’d love to hear about it!
TOGA

(smiling) Toga.
There is NO pause!
DEKU
Guys! You guys, how are you all today, we haven’t even gotten to asking Spinner! Hey, Twice, you might’ve been right on that one! Spinner, you sure do look bored. What’s up?
SPINNER
It’s great, Deku! I’m so glad you asked!
TWICE
Wh-... S-Spinner, you…
DEKU
Twice, what’s wrong? Spinner seems fine… but you don’t. Are you okay?
TWICE
No. No, I’m fine, actually. Chilled with…
There is no pause!
TWICE
No, I’m great! I chilled with Toga today! It was so cool! Except, ah, it wasn’t! No, it was! No, it wasn’t! Sorry guys. NOT SORRY!
DEKU
(smiling) There’s the Twice we know.
DABI

Dabi, of course! Don’t worry, we have’t forgot about you! How was your day?

(laughing) Classic Dabi! Gotta love you for that. Hey, guys, this has been great! Everyone’s gotta do their own thing now, as usual, so go ahead! See you later!

DEKU confidently sits on the couch, his stature strong. TOGA sits next to him, smiling at him. TWICE stares at him from across the room. DABI is in the corner of the room, with two glasses—filled with water. SPINNER stands near the door of the bar, as usual. SHIGARAKI smiles next to KUROGIRI.
DEKU
(with intention) So! Have we decided? Shigaraki, draw up any plans lately?
SHIGARAKI
Yes. I have a plan. We’ll get a strong foothold this time.
DEKU
Continue.
SHIGARAKI is silent—thinking.
DEKU
Take your time.
SHIGARAKI
I do have a plan. I don’t like it, but the Yakuza… we team up with them.
DEKU stands up, with a strong clap.
DEKU
YES! The Yakuza! What made you think this way?
SHIGARAKI is silent—thinking.
SHIGARAKI
I think they’re arrogant. They’re… well, they’re not good news for anyone. But we’re down on supplies. So… the Yakuza.
DEKU walks over and slaps SHIGARAKI on the back.
DEKU
Shigaraki. Thank you for looking out for us! Everyone, what’s your say on this?
EVERYONE nods. Nobody says anything in rebuttal.
DEKU

Nobody says anything in rebuttal.
DEKU
You guys… thank you! This has been a great meetup! We should do this more often!
DEKU walks towards the door behind the door, opening it slightly before turning to look back at EVERYONE.
DEKU
I’ll be off now. See you guys later!

A sterile white room who knows nothing but a kid with a kid that knows nothing but that so peacefully sterile white room and his mind which tortures him everyday for something he can’t remember other than some very bright lights, some very colorful lights paired with an emotion that not anyone in the world could ever have the ability to describe that infinitely tortures this child did I say that already okay.

I just realized! With all our productivity, we’ve forgotten about sharing our days! How were our days, everyone?
TOGA

A sterile white room—no, behind the door of… of the bar. A shady bar. Kamino Ward. Yokohama City.
DEKU sits.
The door opens, the slim ray of light putting tiny—tiny—tiny little dust flakes… flakes… floating, floating… on spotlight. The door opens, little dust flakes… The door opens…
The door opens.
A foot enters… and pushes the door open. Just enough. Not too little… but not too much…
The door opens…
Eventually, a person enters. They softly click the door shut. And all those little flakes… those tiny—tiny—ah, those tiny little flakes, you can’t see them anymore.
You know they’re… those flakes… floating, floating, flakes… you know they’re there, though…
The door had opened…
TWICE turns around. And TWICE freezes. Like all those… tiny… ah, those…
Twice has opened the door.

Scene 3
Behind the door of a shady bar, Kamino Ward of Yokohama City.
DEKU sits near the bed, with wide… eyes and a face scrunched up in deep concentration. TWICE enters, USR, from the previous room. This new room consists of a hospital bed, SC where DEKU is sitting, a table SR of it, and a… television, SL of the hospital bed. TWICE freezes as soon as he walks in, stopping just in front of the door, facing SC.
TWICE
(whisper) Wh… De…k—
DEKU hums in surprise, and turns to face TWICE. DEKU smiles.
DEKU
(delighted) Oh, Twice! I didn’t expect to see you here. You surprised me!
DEKU pats at the open space next to him on the hospital bed. TWICE stays where he is, by the looks of it, mumbling something again.
DEKU
That’s okay.
There is a pause.
DEKU
You seem a bit surprised. Didn’t I tell you guys that I was going in here to do some thinking? For our alliance with the Yakuza! Ah, Shigaraki’s going to worry his head off planning. He seems really focused on it, doesn’t he?
TWICE
(quietly) Uh—ah, I mean… y-yeah… you… but…
DEKU tilts his head, confused.
DEKU
What’s wrong? You seem a bit pale.
TWICE stumbles forward a bit, with wide eyes before catching himself, gripping the walls.
TWICE
I… you…
DEKU rushes over, helping TWICE get up.
DEKU
Are you okay?! What’s wrong?
TWICE stares up at him.
TWICE
You were just… right now… you… you were…
DEKU tilts his head again, confused.
DEKU
You’re not making any sense. I’m getting worried, Twice! We should get you somewhere… safe.
TWICE
Wh… safe…?
DEKU smiles.
DEKU
Haha! Yes, safe! I think the darkness is doing something to you, Twice.
DEKU frowns, looking concerned.
DEKU
Oh, wait. Twice, do you have some trauma with darkness? I’m so sorry! I didn’t know! You seem close to Toga—you are, right? I’ll get you to her. She’ll know what to do.
TWICE
Dar-kness… NO! No, WAIT! That’s… that’s not…
DEKU brings TWICE over to the door, looking worried.
DEKU
It’s okay. You know what? We can even delay the Yakuza alliance. As long as you’re okay, Twice! Every member matters! I’ll convince Shigaraki, he’ll agree.
TWICE
No… that’s not…
DEKU
Come on, Twice.
DEKU opens the door, taking TWICE back out to the bar.
