It was safe to say that when Jamie Lloyd became the superhero Black Cat, she did not expect her partner to be a teenage boy wearing a red and black ladybug suit.
”Who are you supposed to be?” she said.
”L-Lord B-Bug,” the boy said. “I’d s-say n-nice t-to m-meet y-you, b-but g-given th-the c-circumstances…”
”What on Earth are you dressed as?” Jamie said.
”I d-dunno. M-my k-kwami d-didn’t g-give m-me m-much ch-choice in th-the m-matter.”
”Makes sense.” He looked like a ladybug, although Jamie didn’t know exactly what ladybugs and black cats really had to do with each other to be perfectly frank.
Maybe it was something she would have to ask Plagg about. Assuming Plagg was up to answering her questions.
A scream echoed over all of Haddonfield and Jamie said, “We’ve gotta go help them!" The akuma was already causing havoc all over Haddonfield and as intriguing as her new partner was, Jamie couldn’t waste any time.
“L-let’s g-go,” Lord Bug said and together, the two teenagers shot off after the akuma.
