Work Text:
Her father threw a lunch party for all the graduates he got that year. It was as many other events he had done before, so when Percy entered her garden with beige pants and a white linen shirt rolled over his forearm, it shouldn't have been any different.
His hair was recently cut, curls neatly arranged like he never did daily. He wore sunglasses over his blue eyes and a watch.
Annabeth had always thought that men had to wear watches; it was like a must for her. It didn't have to be an expensive watch, just a watch, and Percy was wearing one she had never seen before. A good one, an expensive one.
Percy always looked the part in these kinds of events, polite, well-dressed, and well-mannered. But that day, he looked like the epitome of old money and a carefree young man who had their whole life secured. Sunglasses folded over the third bottom of his shirt, and an award-winning smile.
Percy looked hot. Unfairly so.
It was the first reason that got Annabeth straining up and drinking half her drink in one go.
The second thing she noticed was that he wasn't looking at her, not even sparing her a single glance since he got there.
It was not that Annabeth was full of herself, but they both knew how all these parties finished for the two of them. And also, Annabeth looked good, too.
She was wearing a variation of his favorite color to all that. She wore a teal chiffon dress with a deep cowl neck that reached to the middle of her calf. Her bare back was hidden with a new set of curly, flowing braids. A classy slit on her right thigh with some high-heeled sandals because she was still short.
Annabeth looked amazing; even her stepmother didn't have anything to say when she saw her.
And yet, Percy Jackson didn't even glance her way the first half-hour he was there. And it probably would have stayed like that, him laughing with some of the other students his father takes under his wing, if it wasn't for Luke, who he was following like a fucking pet. Annabeth hated it, but that made him come to her when Luke walked over to say hello.
But Annabeth was already frustrated, pissed even at him. And he smirked at her, that stupid smirk that made him look like the freaking devil in disguise.
He knew what he was doing; he was doing it on purpose. She scowled at him, then quickly changed it to smile brightly at Luke.
"Luke! Hi, how are you?" She held both his forearms and stretched to kiss him on the cheek in greeting.
"I'm well, and you?"
"Splendid." She turned to greet Percy, and then it was he who was scowling. "Jackson." She smiled tightly, tone strained, and Percy's scowl deepened when he saw her extended hand waiting for a handshake.
"Chase." He deadpanned and shook her hand.
"I hope you guys are enjoying the party." She said politely, because, after all, she was still a host. It was very staged, though, because she was close with both boys enough to pass all the pleasantries and politeness; either way, she smiled up at Luke, paying him her full attention as he praised the organization and food.
Percy scoffed but disguised it as a cough and took a sip.
"You look beautiful, by the way." Luke's eyes ran over her body, and Annabeth smiled, pleased at the words, because she did look beautiful, at least one could appreciate it. She could basically hear Percy's jaw lock, glaring, this time at Luke.
"Thank you. You clean up well, too." She took a sip of her drink, something sweet and fruity, then moved her head slightly to acknowledge Percy.
He was there, waiting for her to glance at him so he could make a show of lowering his gaze down to her feet, then back up and say absolutely nothing.
Luke kept talking, and Annabeth kept nodding. Percy took a sip with an impassive expression and looked around the garden, like he was bored with being there and looking for what else to do.
Annabeth's stomach dropped a bit.
"Well, I leave you to talk around. I have to find my father." She said, forced, the biggest lie ever, Percy must know as much because she barely saw her father in these events until it was necessary.
She walked away, faking a smile and head running miles an hour.
Annabeth had done the 'I don't give a fuck' game many times and had always won it. But with Percy, she always seemed to be on the losing end for something supposedly casual. She cared too much for what he thought of her, did, said. Annabeth always cared too much, and she hated it.
She searched her brain, trying to understand the vibe they left off the last time they saw each other, to grasp why he was playing the part of not caring about her today, not even being in the mood to greet her.
When Annabeth was a kid, her stepmother had accused her of being clingy. Her father had made a face at her as Annabeth climbed to sit on his lap at the age of seven to read a book, when all the kids were running around and playing. "She's a kid." His father had told her very bored with her words, then listened to Annabeth show him the book she had brought.
She believed that it would stay there. Her stepmother never called her clingy again because her brothers were born; she grew out of it, until an old friend told her she was clingy. She didn't understand at first because Annabeth wasn't a fan of physical touch, but then her friend had screamed at her that she always whined when they couldn't hang out, that she was always there, and they couldn't hang out with other people.
Annabeth was clingy, and it was annoying. It had done a number on Annabeth at age sixteen to be told that by her best friend.
So, Annabeth had been in constant worry about whether she was being too clingy ever since. And the thing was, you cannot be clingy in a casual thing.
It was casual for a reason, but still, she didn't know quite right where the lines were marked between her and Percy, not lately, after months of their little situation. She was kind of terrified that Percy was going to tell her he didn't want to do it anymore, that the thing had run its course.
She stayed with some professors who were fond of her, gaze wandering to Percy, who was never looking back. He walked past her, brushed her hair, and didn't even glance at her.
Until they ended in the same group.
He walked to stand next to her, listening to one of the graduates of the day. When she looked up at him, uncertain and wary of what to expect, he was looking back, bodies turned to each other. Neither said nor did anything, but his eyes moved to her neck, down to her back; he smirked at her, eyes bright, full of a giddy feeling, and something in Annabeth's belly churned, heat growing.
He extended the arm opposite to where she was standing and moved closer to her, his other hand going to rest under her braid and over her exposed back, her front too close to his chest, and then she noticed he was reaching for another drink from a tray a server had brought.
"Do you want one?" He asked her, looking down at her.
She nodded, gazing up at him through her lashes. She accepted the glass, and as he reached for his own, she stared at his extended arm, half exposed by his rolled up sleeves, and the other part, the best part if you asked her, unfairly hidden by the fabric, silver watch resting on his wrist and Annabeth was remembered of the first reason Percy had taken her whole attention that day.
He looked hot. Unfairly so.
His hand slid down to an almost inappropriate resting place, just at the end of her braids, long finger just about to touch her ass. But he soon took it out, backed out of her personal space, and it was like nothing had happened at all. A stupid, foggy feeling pushed through Annabeth's mind, the want of his hand to go lower, of him to press her harder against him.
They stayed there, listening, torturous close but not close enough, and he laughed, a rich, deep laugh that reminded her of waking up next to him, and her mind wandered.
It was so easy to remember what they had been coming from, all the late-night meetings and reckless ones, all the time his hands had gone lower, and gone up. All the things his hands had done to her.
Annabeth's eyes probably went glazy from all the very inappropriate thoughts she had as a guy talked about his freaking thesis or something. She didn't even know, but as she was lost in thought, the guy said something. She didn't even know how it correlated to the story, but he said, "Come on, baby." With a cocky tone, people laughed, but Annabeth felt Percy's head turn to her, and she knew what he was thinking, the same as her.
The first time they slept together, Annabeth coming undone with those very three words on her ear. Like fucking Pavlovian.
Annabeth didn't look at him; she kept the practiced smile and glazed eyes looking at the people, but then Percy put his hand on her back again, over her exposed skin, he squished a little, and Annabeth was getting warmer by the minute.
He was too close and not close enough; she could smell his perfume, which only managed to fog her brain even more. And suddenly a clear image of Annabeth's face hidden in Percy's sweaty neck, his sea breeze essence, fancy perfume, and sweat all together while he still moved his hips, deep inside her.
Percy was hot. Annabeth was horny. That could summarize it.
Annabeth looked up at Percy. She couldn't tell you what expression she must have had on her face, but Percy looked down at her, observing every movement of her face, and slightly frowned, like he didn't understand what she was trying to communicate without words, but then his eyes brightened in recognition.
Before any of them could say anything, her father announced it was time to sit down and eat.
The lunch was as torturous as the brief conversation they had before. She had Percy diagonally sit in front of her. She could hear the joyous conversation he had with the people around him, hearing every comment he said but not being close enough to engage in the conversation, watching how Reyna threw her head back laughing at his comments, and touching his uncovered forearm, making him laugh.
Annabeth liked Reyna. She was one of the few girls his father guided on their thesis, but she whispered something to Percy, making it seem like they were in an inside joke she didn't want anyone else to hear, and Annabeth was stuck with the boring conversation Luke and the other professors present were having.
Annabeth ate her food silently, only nodding when someone looked her way to make sure she was listening, but she wasn't.
So often, she would feel Percy's eyes on her, barely there, but she never met his stare, lost in cloudy thoughts that she wasn't proud of having at that setting.
Annabeth must have been ovulating, she thought it was the only reason why she just couldn't think of another thing. Why her thoughts kept wandering back to Percy's hand over her thighs, her legs circling his waist, and bringing him closer, his lips over her neck going lower and lower.
Annabeth was used to getting herself over her head and getting horny. Everyone got horny, and she was also very capable of fixing the problem herself, going to the bathroom, and with quick fingers, doing what she needed. A bit clinical, and a bit disappointing, considering Percy was right in front of her, capable of doing so much more than just a quick orgasm with her fingers.
But he was much more interested in anyone but her that day, and her stepmother had invited the professors' wives to the living room to sit and have some tea, so the possibility of running to her room unnoticed was out the window.
Annabeth was the last one to stand up to the dessert table, waiting for everyone to get theirs and go around to stand somewhere else.
She was trying to decide what to get when Percy stopped next to her.
"Are you okay, Chase?" He asked with a nonchalant tone, reaching for a napkin, brushing too close to her.
"Of course." She said, trying to mask any annoyance she had right then with him.
"You seem… tense." He said, and he knew what he was doing, with the amused tone and smug smile Annabeth saw from the corner of her eye.
"I'm perfectly fine. Are you okay?" She reached for a chocolate pudding, cake, something that looked good, and finally moved her head up to meet his gaze.
"I'm splendid." He mocked her earlier answer and smiled at her, showing his perfect row of white teeth and dimples.
Annabeth's eyes glanced to his lips, then back to his eyes, and he moved the tiny bit closer. Annabeth's head tilted further back.
When Annabeth was younger, she had seen a video about different eyes. Siren eyes, doe eyes, foxy eyes. The most seductive ones were the ones Annabeth did not have. She had tried with make-up to make her eyes more elongated, to seem more seductive, but it only ended with her looking like she was halfway closing her eyes.
With time, Annabeth had learned how to use her doe eyes to her advantage, what makeup looked best for her, and how to highlight her brown irises. She was also very expressive with them, and it caused something in people. How attentive she was with her eyes, how expressive she was with her eyebrows, how deep the color of her irises was.
Annabeth thought it was all of that, and how much attuned Percy was with her, how well he knew her, and not the fact that she was being too obvious, that he lowered his face closer to her, observing her face slowly.
"You are turned on." He muttered, just so she would listen, and it had to be all of what she said that he knew how pathetically turned on Annabeth was. Please let it be that.
"I don't know what you are talking about." She wetted her lips and took a bite of her dessert, diverting her eyes somewhere else as Percy still analyzed her.
"It's a pity your stepmother is using the living room." He whispered, looking back to the desert table, as Annabeth looked out at the garden. "But since you are not turned on, I don't think you mind that we can't go to your room today."
He started to walk away, which threw Annabeth off, because why did he always leave?
"Where are you going?" she asked.
He turned around, smirk on his face, holding a champagne flute. "Well, to mix and mingle." She wanted to tell him that was the only thing he had been doing, but his eyes narrowed at her playfully, and she understood what he wanted before he said it. "Or do you have something to tell me? Something to ask of me?"
Fuck me. That was what Percy wanted to hear.
He wanted her to say it, to vocally tell him to get out of there and just fuck, because as Percy so eloquently had said before, Annabeth was turned on, and he knew it.
"Nothing comes to mind." She replied, voice thin and barely believing the disinterest herself.
"Oh, well." He looked around the room, and his eyes landed on Reyna, waving him over. "I think I'll chat a little more before I leave."
Annabeth didn't believe that he would leave before getting something out of her, but still, the smile he threw at Reyna and the "wait" he mouthed at her was enough to make her mad.
"It's okay, Luke was waiting for me anyway." She said and walked around and away from him. She didn't have to look back to know he was following her with his eyes.
Luke hadn't been waiting for her, but he never turned her down when she appeared next to him. Putting his arm around her shoulder and including her in the conversation as soon as she got there. Annabeth didn't really care if she was included or not; she cared more for the blonde who was now glaring at her from afar. Not liking the game anymore.
Percy was a sore loser. She had noticed this one time when he got second instead of first on a race, and had been so frustrated and angry that they hadn't even gotten back to his or her place before he literally lost his composure.
She was a sore loser, too. She could understand.
She stayed with Luke for a long time, listening to what he was talking about and nodding at the right moment. At some point, his hands rested over her exposed back, not as low as Percy before, but still there, constant.
Annabeth didn't forget about Percy, but she couldn't really look at him without everyone noticing she was turning to look at him.
But Luke started to move his hand like he was soothing her, and it wasn't wrong, but Annabeth was so on edge, and her hands were a little clammy, and she was hot since Percy got there, that she felt uncomfortable.
She didn't even know if Percy was looking, because she knew if he was, he wasn't going to like whatever he saw. In any other circumstances, when the need for him wasn't dizzing her, she wouldn't have cared, but now it was different.
"Are you okay, Annabeth?" Someone asked her, startling her from her thought, and she smiled, bright and giddy enough that the face of the professor who asked seemed convinced.
"Yes, I'm just a little tired. I'm going to step out for a little."
She assured them one last time before she left the empty plate on a random table and walked to the house.
Once Annabeth had stepped foot inside the house in the empty hallway that led to the backyard, she breathed out to calm her thoughts.
Annabeth didn't know what the plan was. She wanted to go to the bathroom and wet her face, drive some sense into herself, cool off. But at the same time, she wanted to go to her room, for Percy to follow her, to do something about the wetness between her legs and the wanting that was eating her alive.
One thing did become true when the sliding door opened behind her, and Percy Jackson came in, sharp jaw locked, and hard eyes set on her.
Percy was leading her out of there in less than a second, pushing her with her back glued to his chest, his open hand resting on her belly, and his heavy breaths on her ear. As Annabeth walked, she tried anything to get friction between her legs.
Percy knew her house well enough, in the many times they had run away from the parties, but that day, they couldn't go to her room without her stepmother noticing they were running away together. But then he turned in the opposite direction where the living room was, and went to the other end of the house, which was quiet and apart from all the noise and guests.
It was her stepmother's library. She used it only for the book club she hosted two days a week, and it was always locked with the key on the keyhole. That probably was why Percy led her there, letting her in and pushing against the closed door before Annabeth could process what was happening.
She felt his hand next to her hip, locking the door from inside, and the sound of the keys wiggling, but she couldn't care too much about the security of making sure no one came in when Percy had put his leg between hers, supporting her and giving her the slight pressure she needed.
His eyes bore into her, and before she could say anything, he kissed her, harsh and fast.
It was messy and wet, and it left Annabeth pressing down on his leg and trying to roll her hips, but his hand had an iron grip on her hips, and she didn't know if she was left panting because of the kiss or the dull ache that the grip caused her.
"You are more worked out than I thought," Percy said, leaning over her cheek after she let out a puff of air. He looked down at her chest, hard nipples under the dress, and raised his right hand just at the level of her chest, touching her over the fabric, making Annabeth push out her chest and whine. Percy chuckled. "Oh, you are desperate."
And Annabeth usually would get at least irritated at him for calling her desperate, but she was. After almost two hours of a buildup that was happening in her head and foggy memories, she didn't care. She looked up at him, trying to muster a seductive look, but probably ended more pleading than anything else, but she didn't care when Percy's demeanor cracked from confident and changed to his mouth opening and his eyes lowering to her lips. Her doe eyes did the trick most of the time for her.
His hand started to travel down her body, under her slit, and right there.
"Oh, Annabeth." he closed his eyes and rested his forehead against her cheek, just as Annabeth threw her head back with her eyes closed, a satisfied sound leaving her mouth when his finger pressed over her covered slit.
Annabeth was so wet, she didn't need the foreplay; she had done the foreplay already, in her head for the last couple of hours. Annabeth wanted to get fucked, she didn't want Percy's words or his games. She wanted him inside her, but of course, he had to be difficult about it.
"So, what do you want, Annabeth?" because he needed her to say it, to ask for it. His fingers moved up over to her clit, and Annabeth moaned, hips squirming. Annabeth couldn't even think about whatever he wanted. "Do you want me to keep going, or do you want me to go? What do you want, baby?"
His finger stopped, and Annabeth opened her eyes to look at him.
"Do you want to go?" she challenged, because it wouldn't be her if she didn't give a little resistance.
"Fuck no." He growled out, like it was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard her say, and something in Annabeth broke inside when the hand that was on her hip went to her lower back and pressed her closer to him, making his finger drag her panties over her clit and his fingers on her slit.
A self-satisfied grin appeared on her lips at the feeling, and her arms, previously hanging at her sides, went up around his neck, bringing him impossibly closer, just millimeters away from his lips, stretching like a cat.
Annabeth said: "Then fuck me, would you?" She grounded her hips against his fingers and bit his bottom lip. Percy's eyes grew darker, and for the first time since they got there, Annabeth felt his hardness on her thigh. "Come on, baby. Would you fuck me?" She said with her already mastered innocent eyes, and picking up the pace, and Percy was left panting on her lips.
Percy was moving after that. He backed away, and for a second, Annabeth thought she wouldn't be able to keep herself up, but then Percy was kneeling in front of her, taking her panties off and pocketing them. He took her off the door and walked further into the room.
The library was a room with big, tall shelves on the walls, with an old piano, a table, and some couches and chairs in the middle. Annabeth thought Percy would lead her to the couches; instead, he walked her to a shelf that, in the middle, had an old vanity, or she thought that was what it once was used for. It had a mirror between the shelves with books and ornaments, with a mostly empty counter except for a vase of flowers that Percy pushed to the back corner of the counter.
So, Annabeth had a clear view of the needy mess she was, with swollen lips and messed-up hair. She could see Percy leaning over her from the back, his eyes never leaving hers. His hands move up and down her sides before reaching behind her neck and undoing the part of the dress that held it there.
The front of the dress fell, revealing her naked chest in the mirror. His hands slide down, brushing her side boob and stopping where they were before, thumbs over her ass.
"Hands over the counter," Percy ordered.
Annabeth did, and when she was leaning over the table, she tried to push her thighs together, but Percy was quick to push them apart. Then she heard him unbuckling his belt and the ruffling of his pants, then the packaging of the condom being ripped open. He left his wallet, phone, and another condom on the table, and Annabeth couldn't stop looking at him through the mirror while he looked down at himself.
It made her stupidly wetter.
"Percy." She whined when she thought he was taking too much time.
He jerked his head up to look at her, and his eyes wandered immediately to her tits.
Annabeth, per se, was a sight, leaning on her open palms, tits hanging, pushed slightly together, giving her more to work than normal, and ass thrown back, legs apart, dress halfway down.
She wanted the dress off, but apparently, Percy didn't, because once his eyes were back to her face, he smirked and moved close, hands rummaging under her skirt. With the slit of the dress, he moved it to the side and up on her lower back.
"You could take it off."
"Not yet." He said, voice deep. His lips were red and swollen, his eyes darker than usual, and some hair had already stuck to his forehead.
He was completely disarmed and so handsome. Annabeth wished he had opened his shirt. She had the perfect view of him over her in the mirror, and before she could tell him to take his shirt off, she felt the tip of his cock brush over her slit, and Annabeth moaned in anticipation, dropping her head.
"Look at me, Annabeth." She didn't even have to lift her head herself when his fist took a handful of her braids and raised it for her. "Look at me, baby." He whispered as he slowly pushed in.
Inch by inch, Annabeth bit her bottom lip, but when he was all bottomed out, her mouth fell ajar, erratic breaths coming out. It was a bit of a challenge not to close her eyes when he was inside her, the desire to close them and concentrate only on the slight discomfort and instant want for him to move.
"Ah." She moaned, low and whiny, tilting her head to the side and closing her eyes in pleasure when instead of pulling back, he pushed deeper, even if he couldn't.
"Open your eyes, Annabeth." It was a command. His hand stopped on her lower back, pushing down so she was arching more, and the movement made Annabeth's wall clench.
Annabeth looked at him. The only thing she wanted was for him to move, and he did.
It was painfully slow, and made Annabeth want to move back against him, fuck herself on him. But she couldn't, because his hands were holding her hips, a fucking smug grin on his face, and it wasn't enough.
"Agh, Percy—" Annabeth whined. She couldn't close her eyes, she couldn't move her hips, and he was not moving the way she wanted. And it was not even that she wanted it fast; she just wanted to fucking cum, and that wasn't doing it. "Come on."
"What's wrong, baby?" He asked, smug at the clench she gave in reaction to the name. "I'm doing exactly what you wanted. Fucking you." He accentuated every word with a hard trust that left Annabeth panting.
He moved her hair fully to one side, the other hand still firm on her hip. His eyes never left hers in the mirror as he moved his mouth to her ear.
"Do you want me to go faster?" He asked, picking up his pace and leaving wet kisses all over her ear, neck, and shoulder, making her moan.
His trust quickened, still hard, and Annabeth's toes were curling on her heels. He was reaching just the right spot inside her, if he only just reached for the right spot outside.
"Yes, yes. Percy, touch me." She said, desperately between broken moans.
"Where, baby? Show me." He slowed down, and instead of complaining, Annabeth looked right at him. "Show me, baby. Come on."
His hand went over hers and guided it between her legs. Annabeth tentatively reached over, with glazed eyes and still too horny and not satisfied enough. She moaned as soon as she touched herself.
She was wet, so wet it was running down her tights. Percy gave shallow trusts. Annabeth reached father down, where he was coming in and out of her, and he groaned in her ear.
His left hand, the one that had his watch on, went to rest over hers on the counter, swallowing it under his. He closed his eyes, took Annabeth's wrist, and brought the fingers that were between her legs to his mouth.
He moaned around them.
"I really wanted to taste you." He said, eyes still closed, and the hand that was over hers tightened. "But I felt like you really wanted to get to this part."
The fucking part, the one where he was inside her. Yeah, she really wanted that.
Her hand moved up to his hair, bringing him closer to her and tugging. He groaned into her neck.
"Gosh, you feel so good, Annabeth. So good, so tight, so wet." His hand went to her clit, and Annabeth screamed. Too loud for the setting and the people who were outside.
Percy's hand, which was on the counter, covered her mouth, and he moved faster and harder, so good that it made Annabeth's eyes roll to the back of her head. And finally, she could move her hip back, move with him.
It was too slopy, and desperate, and everything Annabeth had wanted all afternoon. She was sweating, head thrown over Percy, wanting to be as close to him, and if his hand wasn't over her mouth, she would probably turn to him and kiss every last inch of him.
She moaned, muffled against his hand, and looked up at him in the mirror.
"You look beautiful like this. Imagine a photo just like this."
Annabeth was going to come. She could feel it in the way she was erratically clenching and the way she couldn't keep her eyes open. Percy moved his fingers faster, and she was in heaven.
"Come on, baby." He whispered in her ear. "Come around my cock. Come on."
Annabeth came with Percy's hand still over her mouth, trying to cover how she was saying his name. She moved her hips, trying to make it last, and Percy fucked her through it until she went limp on his arms.
He kissed her shoulder, tenderly and soothingly, once he stopped moving. He stood still until Annabeth came back to her senses, his hand going up and down her side while the other rested over the counter, fingers slick with her.
When Annabeth opened her eyes, he was already looking at her. His hair was a mess from where she had pulled it before, and his eyes were black.
He was still hard.
She clenched down on him when she realized, and Percy smirked.
And in her gazy mind, still blurred from pleasure and the want of wanting to get back at him, she took his phone from the table.
"Annabeth," He warned, surprised and disoriented. The smirk dropped from his face.
She reached over to rest her hand on the back of his neck and brought him closer, then snapped a photo. His mouth was hanging open, and Annabeth was looking at him through the mirror.
She was putting so much trust in him, and she wasn't sure if, after her brain dropped the induced haze post orgasm she'd gotten, she would keep the photos or delete them from existence.
"Well, don't get shy now," She said, turning her face and resting her lips over his cheek. She snapped another photo. "Say cheese." She whispered, amused, and Percy turned to capture her lips.
She snapped the last picture, then dropped the phone to completely focus on the kiss.
It was so dirty, and it seemed like they were fighting for dominance, and even when Percy was still inside her, he was taller and had her in an uncomfortable position. Annabeth was winning.
She bit his lip, and he moaned. She turned a little more, tightening her legs a little, and Percy hissed.
The thing was, even if she was still a little sensitive from her orgasm, he was still very much aroused and hard, and that gave her a slight advantage.
They kissed for what felt like too long, and it was enough for Annabeth to want to go again.
"Out." She mumbled against his lips and kissed one last time before leaning back.
He frowned at her and started to reach again for a kiss, but Annabeth turned back to the mirror.
"Out." She said again, wiggling her hips to get the message across.
Percy backed instantly.
Annabeth turned around to face him and let her dress fall to the floor. Percy, dumbfounded and jaw slackened, looked from Annabeth's naked body to the fabric on the floor.
Annabeth stepped out of it and picked it up, walked around Percy, and left the dress over the back of a chair so it wouldn't wrinkle. Then she turned back.
Percy was waiting for her, waiting for her direction, to tell him what to do. His shirt was still on and closed, and he had opened his pants and lowered them enough to just be able to pull himself out, condom on and shiny from her release.
"Annabeth, what are—" But he didn't finish, because she walked over to him, took his shirt, and undid the buttons. Then got on her toes, close enough for him to close his eyes and lean to kiss her, but she backed away before it happened, and walked him to the sofa.
Once the back of his knees bumped with it, she pushed him down and then straddled him.
She kissed him before he could say anything. She kissed him slowly and torturously for a while, now in power.
"Baby, can you—" He reached his hand to her hips, trying to move her on top of him, inside of her. But she shut him up with a kiss and brushed his hands away.
"Now, who is the desperate one?" She whispered and bit his lip with a smirk. He was looking at her crossed eyes.
She kissed the corner of his mouth, then his cheek, then up to his ear. Her hands running up through his hair, scratching it, and Percy let his forehead fall to her shoulder, grunting, trying to push his hips up, but Annabeth had him pinned down.
Annabeth pushed her chest against his and sighed at the contact, then she shifted her hips and felt his tip make contact with her slit, and Percy groaned again in her ear.
"Baby, Annabeth, please, just put me in." She bit his neck at the same time she reached down to line him up.
Annabeth bottomed out slowly, savoring every grunt and stretch. She took a handful of his hair and threw his head back enough to see him. His eyes were lidded, and his hand had moved back to her hips.
"Gods, you feel so good." He said, Annabeth started to move back and forth, dragging her clit over his navel, and she moaned at the contact.
It probably wasn't what Percy wanted, but he didn't seem to mind, instead helping her move and kissing her neck, then lower until her nipple was in his mouth, making her move faster.
"Percy." She sighed over his head, and it was when he popped her right nipple out of his mouth and moved to the other one that Annabeth started to move up and down on him, making him groan around it.
She kept the pace, in and out, in and out. Percy kept kissing her everywhere he could reach, until he pushed his hand in her hair and separated her from him, looking down at where they were connected and started to push his hips to meet her. Annabeth moaned at how deeply he got.
She pushed back more, a hand going to rest behind her over his leg to have more leverage.
Percy's eyes ranked over her now that she was stretched back. Her chest and abdomen were on full display, her braids loose on her back.
"I love this, I love you like this."
Annabeth's heart skipped a bit at the L word, but she kept going.
One of his hands moved so he could circle her clit with his thumb, and she threw her head back.
He couldn't quite decide if looking down where he was touching her, or her body, or her face.
"I love that I'm the only one who gets to have you like this." He brought her up by the back of her head to kiss her, which wasn't much of a kiss with Annabeth's mouth hanging open from the pleasure. "Why the fuck was Luke touching like that anyway?" He said harshly, nipping her shoulder, and his hand went to her back to do the same path Luke's had done
Annabeth huffed out a laugh. Movement getting faster, sloppier, and oh, so much better.
"Well, I didn't know if you noticed, while you were all buddy-buddy with Reyna." She said, bringing his face back to look up at her. "Do I have to remind you you said you were mine?" She said, between a whine and a moan, when he quickened his thrusts.
Percy had said that in a very similar moment to what they were having now, but much more risky. They also hadn't made it to her room, but that time was more from the adrenaline of staying in the living room, her chest pressed against the back of the sofa, and Percy taking her from behind while a karaoke was going on in the room next to them.
Annabeth got a little dizzy every time she remembered what he whispered in her ear that night.
He shook his head. "God, you are impossible."
Annabeth couldn't cum before Percy, mainly because he hadn't cum at all. So she started to clench around him and drag over him, giving him the most pressure and pleasure she could.
Percy threw his head back, grunting. She kissed him, and they came together, moaning over each other's mouths and forgetting where they were.
Annabeth collapsed over him, head hiding on his shoulder and breathing hard. He kissed her shoulder, almost reverent. Annabeth closed her eyes and felt him inside her.
They stayed for a while, letting things settle. She heard laughter and a door close shut, she jumped a little startled, and Percy hissed.
He hissed again when Annabeth slapped him on the chest.
"Ouch," He took the hand that slapped him, and took it between his, kissed the back of it, but Annabeth still glared at him. "Can you stop moving so much?"
"You are an asshole."
Percy made a show of pouting and giving her the puppy eyes that got her to actually dip in the cold ocean with him once, getting closer to her.
"What did I do?" He said, going to kiss her neck. But Annabeth grabbed him by his hair and pulled him back.
They were not going to go again, at least not there. She wanted to leave her house and go to his, which was probably what they were going to do.
"You ignored me." She replied, almost scandalized.
He smirked, slowly at her. He had a little sweat on his eyebrow, and his cheeks were rosy like he had been out in the sun too long.
"Well, we are here now."
Yes, they were. But they would've ended here either way; he ignored her or not, she was past being embarrassed by that fact. What she hadn't passed yet was the fact that he was ignoring her, her being scared he was over her, and the whole game they had going.
She couldn't say as much because it sounded so pushy and needy, and none of those things aligned with the casual, non-labeled thing they had.
So, she pursed her lips, but Annabeth, forever expressive and communicative with her whole face, must have done something that led to Percy changing his smug face to something more akin to devotion. His face softened, and there was a quiet understanding on it.
He was the one threatening his fingers through her braids and bringing her down for a kiss.
"I'm sorry if it bothered you. I was just trying to get under your skin to get under you," He winked at her.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and slapped a hand over his mouth. She could feel him smile under her palm, then he kissed it.
"I'm sorry." He said again, muffled by her mouth. "If it's worth something, it was very hard to ignore you when you looked like that."
That was worth something, because as he said it, Annabeth broke into a smile even before trying to convey it. Percy mirrored it.
"It's already hard to ignore you in general. But you. Looked. Incredible, Today." He said, while he pressed a kiss over her shoulder after every word.
Annabeth knew this, but it didn't hurt to hear it from the person she wanted to hear it from.
Then she felt him stir inside her again, and she decided enough was enough. So she pushed him away again.
"Don't get ideas, Jackson. We are not going again."
He pouted again, but then she helped him off and took off the condom, tied it.
"Should I drop this in the trash?" He asked.
Annabeth glared at him, still thrown over the couch.
"Yeah. That's so explainable."
He got tissues from somewhere and wrapped it with that, got his things from the table, then brought her the dress. He helped her into it, and once she was finally dressed and he had fixed his clothes too, they stood there for a moment.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you," Annabeth said, fixing the collar of his shirt that was all wrong. "You might get an email from Professor Chiron."
Percy frowned, and his hands, which were rubbing the skin exposed on her back, paused, like that was the last thing he expected her to say, which was expected.
"Why?"
"He is looking for a collaborator. Like a TA, but for a project he is doing. He is translating some of Cicero's letters, and he asked me if I knew someone who might be interested. I told him your name." Percy looked more surprised after that explanation, and for a second, Annabeth panicked that maybe she had overstepped. "I thought you might be interested, and it could be good, since you mentioned looking for another professor to work on your thesis. You can't say no if you don't want to. Nothing's set on sto—"
But before she could keep rambling, he held her face and kissed her. It was sweet, and he was half smiling, which helped to calm the sudden nerves that surged up her chest.
"God, why are you so shifty today?" He teased her, resting his forehead against her. "Yes, I am interested. It's like the dream to be able to work on something like that."
His eyes were almost completely closed from how big his smile was. Annabeth smiled back, a little less nervous.
"Okay." He said, louder than before, and put some space between them without letting go of her face. "I feel like you are still too wound up, so now we are going to my place, and we are going to fix that."
He winked.
Annabeth rolled her eyes, but still smiled.
That was them in a nutshell.
"So, I'm going out now to say my goodbyes. You go and do whatever you have to do. I'll wait for you in my car." He said, standing up straighter and turning to the door.
Annabeth followed him out a couple of seconds later.
She went to her room, not before greeting all the ladies in the living room and giving a forced smile to her stepmother. She cleaned herself up, and when she was deciding whether to change out of her clothes or not, she received a text from Percy that simply said: 'Keep the dress on.'
So, she packed only the things she was for sure weren't at Percy's place, then she went down to go to the car.
"Going somewhere, Annabeth?" Her stepmother asked when she saw her coming down the stairs with her bag.
"Yes. Thalia called me, and she needs me. I'll be back tomorrow." She smiled apologetically.
"An emergency? Of your friend?" One of the women said with a worried smile. Annabeth smiled a little more genuinely at her.
"Something like that. Could you tell Dad I had to leave?.
"Yes. Be careful."
Annabeth gave them a last goodbye before turning around and finally being out of the house. When the door to the guest bathroom opened, Reyna came out of it.
"Annabeth, hey," She said. They were in the hallway just about to reach the entrance hall. "How have you been? I didn't get the chance to talk to you today."
"You're right. Congratulation!" She hugged her and bit her tongue when she wanted to tell her she was too busy flirting with Percy, because why Annabeth, why?
"You heading out?"
"Yeah. I gotta go see a friend."
"I get it. Hey, before you go. I saw you talking with Percy earlier?" Annabeth's smile might have frozen with her words, but she nodded either way.
"Percy Jackson?" She asked, like Percy wasn't literally the only one with that name. Reyna nodded. "Oh, yeah. I know him."
"Do you know if he is like, single? Can you send me his number?"
Annabeth was surprised at that; her eyes opened just slightly.
"Yeah. I can send you his contact."
"So, he is single?"
Annabeth opened her mouth to answer her, but nothing came out.
Percy was single. He was, technically, right? They never talked about exclusivity, the one thing Silena had always pestered her about, and she never did, because why would she?
To have an answer in a moment like this, that's why.
"I actually don't know." She decided at last, and her phone vibrated to what she could guess a pretty penny, was Percy hurring her up.
"Oh, that's fine," Reyna said, smiling at her. "But still send me his number, pretty please."
"Yeah, of course."
They said goodbye, and she got out of her house right into Percy's car.
"What took you so long?" He said, getting out of the driveway as fast as possible.
"Reyna asked me for your number." It was the only thing she said, because it was the truth after all.
Percy didn't look at her right away, but after they were on the road, he turned to her, frowning.
"Put your seatbelt on." He said and turned his eyes back to the road.
Annabeth rolled hers and then put the seatbelt on.
"And did you send it to her?" He asked her after a while without looking at her.
"I just did."
Percy huffed out like he was disappointed, and did give her a look then.
"What?"
"Why did you send it?"
"She asked for it. And you guys talked a lot. I didn't think you'd mind." She wasn't proud about the little tilt in her tone, but the damage was already done in every way possible.
They stopped at a red light, and he turned to see her.
"Shes nice." He shrugged.
Before Annabeth could speak, his phone that was on the cupholder vibrated. Annabeth could see enough of the screen that she saw the message from the unknown number.
She raised a brow, impressed.
The light turned green.
Percy went back to the steering wheel, huffing out a laugh, and Annabeth reached for his phone.
It was, in fact, a message from Reyna, multiple actually. But Annabeth didn't take the phone to see that.
She wanted to see the pictures she had taken.
Instead of reaching for his phone, Percy changed the song.
"Don't delete them before I can see them." He said, looking through the rearview mirror, and changing lanes, already knowing what she was doing.
There had always been something particularly hot about Percy driving. Silena once told her she found it, in general, a hot thing for a man to do; she didn't see it, not really. Until the first time she got into Percy's car, and some guy had cut them off.
Percy honked at him, cursed things that to this day Annabeth didn't know what they were, because his New York accent had been so thick and present that she forgot to actually pay attention. He had to reverse and change lanes to avoid getting stuck in a traffic jam, and Annabeth had understood what Silena meant.
Now, he had one hand on the steering wheel, his nice silver watch contrasting against his pale skin and his sleeves rolled up.
"Is that a new watch?" She asked, absentmindedly as she looked through the pictures.
"Nah. My stepdad gave it to me a while back. It's nice, so I only wear it to important events."
Annabeth hummed.
"It looks nice." She said. Like it wasn't one of the main factors that made them end up in the library. "They are not that great, don't get any ideas either." She said, looking back at the phone, biting her lip.
They weren't that bold. Mostly her chest out was the bold part, and the fact that her dress was lowered enough to show probably more than she used to show with a bikini, but she looked nice, her body looked nice.
"Let me see." He held his hand for the phone. He diverted his eyes between the phone and the road, changing to see the three pictures. "Can I keep them?" He asked.
"The three of them?"
"Yeah." He said a little breathless, and Annabeth deadpanned at him, but she also took them so. Before giving back the phone, he took both hands to the steering wheel to make a turn. "But I'll be happy with the first one if we are negotiating."
When he gave it back, she saw the very photo he was asking for. It was the one she was looking right at him through the mirror. He looked lost in the photo and a bit dumbfounded. But Annabeth had a look that could only be reduced to lust.
"It's not that crazy." She mumbled, debating herself whether she would let him keep them or not.
"Maybe." He stopped the car, and for a moment she thought they had arrived. But then she looked around, and they were in a dead-end street, with nothing around. She was familiar enough with this road.
She rolled her eyes when she noticed anyway.
"But I'll know I was inside you when you took them." He was already reaching over the middle for the phone again, giving her a cheeky smile after what he said. "So can I?"
Annabeth nodded.
"Sweet." He cheered, already looking again at them. Annabeth chuckled.
"What are you going to do with them?" She threaded her fingers through his curls and turned his head to look at her.
"They are going to my spank bank."
Annabeth actually snorted at what he said.
"You are ridiculous." She kissed him anyway.
They didn't make it to Percy's place until an hour later.
