Day 21 - They Fight/Argue - Kirby/Bandee
There was a tense silence between them as Kirby was silently patching up Bandee's wounds with a somber expression.....which was a bitter feeling to have. Once the last wound was patched, Kirby pulled away to put away the remaining bandages while Bandee lightly rub his bandaged arm as he tried to say something to break the tense silence which lasted for a few more minutes before it was broken.....by Kirby.
"You can't been pushing yourself like this" Kirby lowly said, not looking up from the med-kit while Bandee had to strain his ears just to hear it. His shoulders hunched up a bit when he realize what his friend had meant, Bandee always have a habit of jumping into danger in order to keep his friends safe.
"...I can handle it....besides I can't just stand there and let you get hurt" Bandee softly explained himself before suddenly flinching when Kirby unexpectedly slammed his hands down on the med-kit and turned around to glare at Bandee whom quickly noticed tears filling his eyes and falling.
"I-If t-they attacked m-more to the right, they would h-have stabbed right through!" Kirby nearly yelled out, sounding both angry and frighten by what he had witness.
Remembering how much pain he was in when the sword slicing into his shoulder, nearly severing his arm from his shoulder and if it wasn't for Kirby having a Maxim Tomato healing the more serious areas of the large wound, Bandee would have bled to death.
Shaking his head at his thoughts, Bandee looked back to Kirby with a determine expression, "But t-that didn't happen" Bandee started to say, "I just w-want to keep you safe"
Silence filled between them for a few moments before Kirby broke it when he sniffs a bit and spun around to face away from Bandee, "I-I don't care....I-I just don't want you to risk your life like that...." he trailed off for a few seconds before speaking again, "C-Can you promise me t-that you won't do that again?"
Instead of answering immediately, Bandee....hesitated to answer which told Kirby everything.
"L-Lets go f-find the others" Kirby quietly said before starting to move. Bandee could only stare in anguish before slowly getting to his feet, his anguish fading into determined as he started to come up with different ideas to make it up to Kirby as he silently followed behind him, hoping to fix what had broken between them.
