WCFP: Lynx Rhymes With Kinks

Summary:

Lynx rhymes with kinks. That's it. That's the summary.

A collection of explicit episodes set after the events of We Can Fix Pawbert. Luther and Pawbert. Nick and Judy. And eventually, some doors that probably should have stayed closed.

Not canon. Not sorry. Individual chapters tagged for content. Table at bottom of Foreword.

Chapter 1: Foreword

Chapter Text

P-Series Foreword

Hello again. Or hello for the first time — either way, welcome.

If you're here, you probably know what this is. If you don't: this is the explicit companion to "We Can Fix Pawbert." And when I say explicit, I mean explicit.

---

What Is This?

The P-series is a collection of post-series episodes written in novel-style prose. They take place after the series finale, S05E24 "Always," where the pack's dynamic undergoes a significant, permanent change. If you've read the main series, you know. If you haven't, you'll pick it up fast.

These episodes explore what comes after. After five seasons of growth, friendships, found family, and hard-won trust — what does intimacy look like for these mammals? How do four mammals, living under the same roof, navigate desire and vulnerability and all the messy, beautiful things that come with it?

That's what this is about.

---

Do I Need to Read the Main Series?

Strongly recommended. The emotional weight of these episodes comes from understanding what these characters went through to get here. Five seasons of context makes every touch, whispered word, and moment of trust land differently.

But if you're just here for the smut? That's okay too. I won't judge. Just know that the main series ends with major changes to the pack's relationships and dynamic, and these episodes pick up from there. The characters have history: physical and emotional scars, inside jokes, a green sweater in the closet that means more than any piece of clothing should. You'll catch up.

And if this is where you start, I hope it inspires you to check out the main series. If the emotions and love resonate with you here, there are 104 episodes of the story that built them.

---

Why Explicit?

I'll be honest: I wanted to write these because the main series earned them.

Pawbert spent his entire life being told that love has a price. That belonging requires performance. That vulnerability is weakness. Five seasons of this story are about unlearning all of that — and intimacy, real, physical, unguarded intimacy, is where that unlearning is tested most directly. You can say "I trust you" a thousand times. But letting someone see you, touch you, take you apart and put you back together? That's where the words become real.

Luther spent years as an undercover operative who controlled everything: his cover, his emotions, his distance from everyone around him. Learning to yield, to let himself be vulnerable, is its own form of growth that extends far beyond the bedroom.

Nick spent a lifetime deflecting with humor. What happens when the jokes stop and he has to just be present?

Judy has always known exactly what she wants. Watching her demand it, unapologetically, is its own kind of love story.

These aren't gratuitous scenes bolted onto a story. They're the scenes the story was always building toward — the ones that couldn't live in the main work without changing its accessibility, but that deserve to exist on their own.

Worldbuilding

The Zootopia films have always delighted in the differences between animal species, from size-scaled infrastructure to species-specific quirks. This series takes that further. Much further.

Our couples are inter-species. A wolf and a lynx. A fox and a rabbit. That means different paw structures, different claws (retractable versus permanent), different anatomy, different instincts. How do they navigate that? How does a lynx's retractable claws feel against a wolf's chest? What does a wolf's rough paw pads feel like against soft, tufted fur? What instincts surface when trust runs that deep?

Call it what you want — but I want to go beyond "mammals having sex." The biology shapes how they experience each other. The species difference isn't incidental. It's central.

Both same-sex and opposite-sex relationships are explored here — because love, desire, and vulnerability don't come in one configuration. As Neil Patrick Harris once sang at the Tonys: "We'd be twice as proud to have you if you go both ways." Consider this an open invitation.

And as this series develops, we won't stop at just our two couples. The world of Zootopia is rich with characters, species, and possibilities, and these four mammals don't exist in isolation. There's a whole world to explore — and we're going to explore it.

Why Non-Canon?

The main series — all 104 episodes — tells a complete story. It's rated TV-M/A/ (where the explicit sexual content is optional), but the explicit content is a small fraction of the whole, and the core narrative works without it.

I wanted to keep it that way. The main series should remain welcoming to readers who aren't interested in explicit sexual content, and future works shouldn't need to account for what happens in these episodes.

So the P-series is non-canon. Nothing here affects the main timeline or any future work. Think of it as a parallel track: same characters, same love, same trust, just explored in a space where I don't have to worry about accessibility.

---

Content

TV-MA. Full explicit sexual content. Species-specific anatomy. Knotting. Bondage. Power exchange. And more to come — much more.

All scenes involve consenting adults. The intimacy is rooted in trust, communication, and care — even when it's rough, even when it's messy, even when someone's claws accidentally break skin.

---

Format

Unlike the main series (which uses teleplay format with sluglines and act breaks), the P-series is written as novel-style prose with teleplay-style dialogue. Think of it as the difference between a script and a chapter: the prose carries interiority, physicality, and atmosphere. The dialogue stays clean: character name on its own line, then speech.

No act breaks or sluglines — just continuous narrative with scene breaks. Each episode is self-contained but chronological, and events and developments in earlier episodes carry forward.
