Yunho jumps a little in his chair when the intercom rings.
It must be the package.
He checks the timer; still two minutes until the next match starts. He lost track of time, so he has no idea if Yeosang is at home or not. He lets the delivery guy in and rushes out of his room. He slips and hits his leg on the couch as he turns in the living room. He rips the door open, panting, scaring the poor guy standing there. He quickly scribbles his name on the PDA, bows his head, and rushes back to his room.
At the noise, Yeosang peeks out of his room.
“Yunho-yah, there’s no—”
But Yunho has already closed the door behind himself.
“—internet,” Yeosang finishes quietly.
Yunho drops the box on his bed and falls back into his chair. I’m still in time, he thinks, but the timer has disappeared, and all he can see is an error message:
CONNECTION ERROR
VALORANT has encountered a connection error.
Please relaunch the client to reconnect.
QUIT
He tries to reconnect, but then he notices there’s no internet. He slaps the table and sighs, almost cursing. He takes off his headset and leans back in the chair, eyes closed.
That’s it. We’re changing providers tomorrow. This is nonsense! I can’t keep my rank if this happens every single day!
He spins in his chair and opens his eyes.
The package.
He stands up from the chair and plops down onto his bed. He pulls the tear strip and opens the box.
“Yeosangie, it arrived!” he shouts, smiling as he carefully pulls the fabric from the tissue paper.
It’s the custom-made Spider-Man suit he ordered a month ago. The fabric is super silky, the colors are deep blue and red, just like the suit Andrew Garfield wears in his movies. The patterns are identical too.
Yunho stares at the suit with his mouth open.
“Will you try it on? You should do some push-ups first so your muscles are more defined. Atiny would love it!” Yeosang shouts from the other side of the door.
Yunho jumps to his feet, strips out of his clothes, and starts doing push-ups with only his boxers on. After thirty, he stops, gasping, but grinning. He straightens up slowly and picks the suit up from the bed.
He unzips it and pulls it on.
The feeling is amazing — like a second skin. It fits perfectly. He can't even feel the zipper on his back. He slowly runs his hands over his chest, the touch of the fabric sending a tingle through his palms.
“Are you done, hyung?” Yeosang says teasingly. “Come out. I bet it looks awesome.”
Yunho slowly opens the door and steps out, smiling shyly.
“Whoa, hyung, this looks amazing! Put the mask on, too,” Yeosang says, admiring the suit as Yunho spins around. Yunho hurriedly pulls the mask on, and Yeosang gasps.
“Hyung, this is awesome! Where’s my phone? Where’s your phone?!”
He runs in and out of both their rooms before reappearing and immediately starts taking pictures like his life depends on it. Yunho goes with the flow, striking all the typical Spidey poses. After a few minutes, he pulls the mask off, and Yeosang takes a few more — a few more hundred — shots like that, too.
Once they’re done, they flop down on the couch to check all the photos Yeosang took. After scrolling for a bit, Yunho stands up.
“I should do some selfies in the mirror too. For Atiny,” he says, smiling fondly.
“If you post those, they’re going to go feral. You know that, right?” Yeosang says dryly.
“Aw, come on, Yeosangie, Hotteoks aren’t like that!” Yunho pouts, runs a hand through his messy hair, and moves in front of the full-length mirror, already starting to take selfies.
“Right,” Yeosang says, raising an eyebrow with a smirk. “I keep forgetting you’re even more delusional than some of our fans.”
After Yunho finishes, he sits back on the couch next to Yeosang and opens both Fromm and Instagram.
“Tiny-yaa”
“Hehe”
“The costume arrived today!”
“Of course I tried it on!”
picture sent
“Do you like it?”
“I like it, it feels nice to wear!”
“Yeosangie said I look good in it.”
“Hehe”
“I’ll post more pictures elsewhere soon.”
“I love you so, so much! 💕”
“(Spiderman-hatyu)”
He closes Fromm and picks a few photos for Instagram too.
For the caption, he writes only three words:
The Amazing Spider-Man
