(Jax is taking out the trash one night)

Jax: (sighs) What a day

(Jax walks to the dumpster when he sees Pomni sleeping in there, her skin was red and blue; Pomni was now in the restaurant wrapped in a blanket)

Jax: (to Ragatha) I found her in the bin, she looked so cold and hungry

Ragatha: That poor thing

(They hear Gangle shrieking)

Jax: What’s wrong, Gangle?!

Gangle: She’s hurt!!!!

(They see lots of scars, bruises and wounds on Pomni)

Jax: Who would do such a thing?! Gangle, you and Rags go clean her up, I’ll make her something to eat

(Gangle and Ragatha take the still sleeping Pomni upstairs while Jax begins cooking; Minutes later, he hears screaming and crying upstairs. Jax rushes upstairs and finds Pomni awake and wrapped in a towel)

Gangle: (to Jax) We were trying to give her but she woke up

Pomni: (whimpers)

Jax: (goes to Pomni) Hey, hey, it’s okay. Welcome to The Amazing Digital Restaurant, what’s your name?

Pomni: (covering herself with the towel more)

Ragatha: She’s shy, Jax (to Pomni) We won’t hurt you

(Ragatha and Gangle take Pomni back into the bathroom to continue cleaning her up and Jax goes back into the kitchen and gets back to making the food)

(Jax brings it to Pomni who was now wearing a cute oversized shirt and sitting on a chair)

Jax: Here you go, enjoy

Pomni: (eats the food)

Gangle: Jax, we’re not sure if she talks at all

Jax: (to Pomni) Can you talk?

Pomni: (shakes her head)

Jax: Oh, you’re mute, but that’s okay

Pomni: (finishes eating and yawns)

Jax: Let’s get you to bed, we’ll introduce you to the others in the morning

(Jax gives Pomni a room and she sleeps; he, Gangle, and Ragatha go to bed too)

(Everyone wakes up one morning to the smell of coffee, they all go into the kitchen and find Pomni making coffee for them, she was also wearing a pretty red, blue, and yellow bow)

Pomni: (gets startled when she sees the employees)

Jax: It’s okay, you made coffee for us?

Pomni: (nods)

(The employees drink the coffee and were amazed)

Zooble: This is the best coffee I ever had

Kinger: What’s your name, dear?

Pomni: (writes on a napkin)

“I’m Pomni, I’m 25 years old”

Ragatha: Such a pretty name

Caine: (shakes Pomni’s hand) It’s so nice to meet you, Pomni! I’m Caine!

Pomni: (tugs on her shirt)

Zooble: Dad, you’re scaring her!

Caine: My apologies. Anyway, the breakfast lunch is in 2 hours, here’s our menu

Caine: Let’s get cracking, my Dazzling Dragon Fruits!

Pomni: (signs) Can I help too?

Caine: Sure

(As the employees worked, Pomni got know them

(Pomni helped Gangle mix the batter for the pancakes, helped Zooble prepare the oatmeal, helped Kinger wash the avocados for the avocado toasts, helped Ragatha mix the eggs and chop the vegetables for the omelettes, helped Jax grill the bacon, and prepared the drinks)

Caine: Okay, everyone! Get ready to serve!

(The employees serve the customers but Pomni was too shy to do so)

Mannequin: (sees Pomni; to Jax) Who’s the cute girl?

Pomni: (blushes)

Jax: (standing in front of Pomni) That’s Pomni, she’s new, finish your breakfast

(Jax takes Pomni to the drink station)

Jax: Stick with the drinks for now, you’re good at making them

Pomni: (nods)

(As the breakfast rush continues)

Zooble: Pomni, we need a couple of orange juices for table 39

Pomni: (makes some orange juice in a flash)

(The customers seemed to love Pomni’s drinks and it made her smile a little bit; 11:00 am)

Caine: Okay, everyone, break time. Zooble, tell us the reviews of today’s breakfast?

Zooble: (on a tablet) The beverages’ positive reviews are higher than ever, people are going crazy over Pomni’s drinks

Jax: (to Pomni) It’s your first day and you’re already popular

Pomni: (smiles a bit)

Caine: The lunch rush starts in 2 hours and 30 minutes, here’s today’s menu

Lunch for Today

(The clock strikes 1:30 and the employees get to work; Gangle and Kinger makes the sandwiches and Mac and cheese, Jax and Zooble grill the burgers and make the hamburg steaks, and Ragatha brings in ingredients for Pomni’s drinks)

Jax: Wait! Who’s making the peach cobbler?!

(Everyone panics until-)

Pomni: (takes out a peach cobbler from the oven)

(The employees were amazed by the peach cobbler)

Jax: You made this when we weren’t looking? How did you find the time?

Pomni: (signs) You were all busy and I saw a crate of peaches, so I thought I would make it

Jax: That’s wonderful, Pomni, let’s see if it tastes as good as it looks

(At lunch time, the customers swarm in and the employees immediately get to work)

Pomni: (makes the drinks)

Customer #1: This peach cobbler is to die for!

Customer #2: Have you tried it with the Shirley Temple?

Customer #3: This iced tea is amazing!

Pomni: (gets more shy from the compliments)

Gangle: Pomni, more people are ordering the peach cobbler, do you think you can make some more?

Pomni: (nods; makes more peach cobbler and adds ice cream to it)

(The lunch rush continues; 4:00 pm, the employees eat on their break)

Zooble: The customer ate the peach cobbler like crazy!

Pomni: (takes out a peach cobbler for all of them)

(The employees eat it and are amazed)

Ragatha: This is so delicious!

Pomni: (smiles)

(Later, it was almost dinner time)

Dinner for Tonight

Caine: Okay, who wants to make the shakshu-

Pomni: (makes a big shakshuka)

Pomni’s secret ingredient: Salmon

Kinger: Let’s do a taste test

(The employee try the shakshuka, it was so delicious)

Ragatha: Pomni, you have to make more of these

Jax: And some green tea too, the tea you made for lunch was amazing

Pomni: (nods)

(The employees get to work; Gangle makes the salad, Zooble gets their grill ready, Kinger and Ragatha peel and mash the potatoes, and Jax helped Pomni with the shakshuka and molten chocolate lava cake)

Pomni: (cuts up a chocolate bar)

Jax: Easy with the knife, it’s very sharp

(Jax was amazed by Pomni’s focus and diligence)

Pomni: (continues cutting the chocolate; tucks her hair behind her ear)

(At 6:00 pm, the customers rush in for the dinner rush and they were amazed by Pomni’s shakshuka and lava cake)

Customer: (to Jax) I have to know who made this

Jax: Our secret weapon (winks at Pomni)

Pomni: (blushes)

(Later when the restaurant closes, Pomni cleans up but her bow falls off; She goes to pick it up her and and Jax’s hand touch; Jax and Pomni freeze for a moment)

Jax: (gives Pomni her bow) Sorry, Pomni, here you go

Pomni: (puts her bow back on)

(Pomni goes upstairs to get ready for bed; When Jax made sure she was gone, he puts on his coat and walks out of the restaurant)

(Jax walks through the city and reaches a hospital, his dad was staying there; His room was full of ducks)

Dax: (sleeping peacefully)

Jax: Dad, it’s me

(Dax wakes up and puts on his glasses)

Dax

Dax: How was your day, Jax?

Jax: It was good. Last night, I found this beautiful girl, she was homeless

Dax: That poor thing, how she’s doing now?

Jax: We took her in and she helped around the restaurant today, she may be mute but her food does all the talking. Though, she looked like she was beaten up badly, she might’ve been abused

(Jax gives Dax some of the food Pomni made)

Dax: These are delicious, but who would hurt her?

Jax: I’ve been wondering the same thing

Nurse: (comes in) Dax, time for your treatment

(The nurse takes Dax out of the room so he can take his treatment, when he came back, he and Jax watch the stars)

Dax: Jax, are you alright? Your fur’s looking messy

Jax: I’m fine, dad, don’t worry, get some rest

(When Jax got back to the restaurant, he went to his room and brushed his fur, but there was so much in his mind: His dad, his dad’s treatment, Pomni, his chest felt tight)

Pomni: (cries offscreen)

(Jax puts down the brush and rushes to Pomni’s room while feeling his chest getting tighter and tighter; He finds Pomni crying in bed)

Jax: Pomni, did you have a bad dream?

Pomni: (nods)

Jax: Oh, Pomni (sit on the bed; sits Pomni on his lap, protecting her with his arms)

Pomni: (burries herself into Jax’s bath robe)

(As Jax hugged Pomni, he could sees her scars and Dax in the hospital in his mind; He saw how high the treatment was, how sick Dax was, and how deep Pomni’s scars were)

Jax: (whimpers; sniffs)

Pomni: (sees this and reaches up to touch Jax’s cheek)

(Jax was hesitant but leans into Pomni’s touch)

Jax: Pomni, I’m supposed to be the one comforting you

Pomni: (keeps comforting Jax)

Jax: (sighs) It’s just that……..everything’s been a lot, my dad is really sick and the bills are crazy. I don’t like seeing him suffer everytime I see him. And those scars on you……..

Pomni: (hugs Jax)

(Jax hugs her back still protecting her)

Jax: Mind if I stay here for a while?

Pomni: (nods)

(Jax sleeps in Pomni’s room)

(Pomni was happily making drinks when she hears someone come in the restaurant)

Gooble

Pomni: (hides behind the counter when she sees Gooble)

Gooble: Hey, Zoob. Hey, dad

Zooble: Hey, Gooble, how’s Paris?

Gooble: Great (sees Pomni) Who’s that?

Zooble: That’s Pomni, she’s a bit shy

(Gooble goes over to Pomni and looks her up and down)

Gooble: She’s really cute (to Pomni) Zooble told me about an amazing barista and baker, surprise me

Pomni: (gets to work)

(Gooble drinks it and their eyes light up)

Gooble: This is amazing! (Looking at Pomni’s uniform) Your uniform needs a little work, it has to be “I own this station”, not “I’m gonna die of shyness”. I’ll make you something professional but still adorable, come with me

(Gooble takes Pomni upstairs; They get out a measuring tape, fabric, and sewing machine. Gooble measures Pomni and makes an outfit it seconds. It was a yellow vest with a cute black skirt and a grey undershirt along with a long apron)

Gooble: And done! Now we have to do your hair

(Gooble gets to work, Jax comes in to check on Pomni but when he saw Gooble touching Pomni’s hair, he felt a sudden rage and jealousy; A flashback shows earlier this morning, Jax was doing Pomni’s hair, he spent nearly an hour giving her hair waves. Flashback ends)

Jax: (trying his best to restrain himself) Gooble……….I did her hair this morning

Gooble: I’m just adding a few touches

Pomni: (tugs on Jax’s sleeve; gives a little twirl)

Jax: You look great, Pomni

(They go downstairs and Pomni goes back to drink making, Gooble flirts with her in front of Jax)

Pomni: (giggles a bit)

Jax: (muttering) Why that little……

(During the shift, Jax’s jealously grew and grew, he was chopping vegetables as if they were his worst enemies; Ragatha’s siblings come by to bring more supplies)

(Later, when it was closing time)

Caine: Okay, everyone! Since you all worked so hard, we’re going to the carnival!

(They all get dressed into casual clothes and they go to the carnival; Pomni gets overwhelmed by how big it was)

Pomni: (tugs on the blouse she was wearing)

(Jax sees this and holds Pomni’s hand)

Jax: Just stay close to me

(They go around the carnival when they see Dax)

Jax: Dad! (Rushes to him)

Dax: Jax! (He and Jax hug) The doctors said I can get some fresh air (sees Pomni) Who’s this lovely girl?

Jax: Dad, this is Pomni, she’s the one who made the peach cobbler

Dax: (shakes Pomni’s hand) Nice to meet you, dear

Pomni: (looks down)

Dax: Don’t be shy, dear

(They all play carnival games and have lots of fun; Dax saw how close Jax and Pomni were, he knew Jax loved her)

Pomni: (shivers)

(Jax unzips his hoodie and puts it on Pomni, it was way too big for her)

Pomni: (leans into Jax)

Jax: Cute…..

(After the carnival, Dax was walking back to the hospital when he sees a strange building)
