Chapter Text
Daring Do: An adventurer who always wonders what type of treasure hides within the world. There has never been anything valuable that has never piqued her interest. Exploring the planet’s greatest valuables is what she lived for, and her recent journey had her exploring a temple that was said to reveal seven sacred treasures, which will offer the person who finds them a great promise in the form of a wish. These sacred treasures are called the Elemental Rings, thousand-year-old artifacts that can control seven different worldly elements: Water, Fire, Earth, Lightning, Wind, Ice, and Light. All seven of them are the keys to acquiring such a wish, and Daring Do didn’t care how long it would take her. She lives by a code: An adventure doesn’t end until the treasure is found.
She was outside a temple that was told to keep the sacred items. Daring Do stepped inside, and just by taking a step inside, the entrance closed. “Typical…” She thought. She continued walking deeper, and when she reached the middle of the temple, she noticed a ring being displayed, but it didn’t look like it was any of the Elemental Rings; but a ring that someone could wear on their finger. Knowing the dangers of taking an artifact from a temple would lead to consequences, she approached the ring with care.
“What is this thing…?” Daring Do thought, “It…looks like a ring, but not an elemental one…”
Since it was a ring, she knew it would fit on her finger. She placed the ring on her right ring finger, and as she did that, she felt a sharp pain in her hand. “Ouch!” She exclaimed, wiggling her finger from the tightness. The ring began to glow, which somewhat amazed Daring Do a little bit.
Suddenly, a loud explosion appeared from the entrance. She directed her head back to the entrance, seeing her treasure hunter rival, Dr. Caballeron, and his goons.
“Well, well, well, if it is the adventurous Daring Do,” He snarked, “You heard about the Elemental Rings, have you? Tell us everything you know about those artifacts, or else we blow this play sky high!”
“Like I’ll allow your greedy hands to get a hold of them!” Daring Do shouted back.
“Suit yourself, sweetheart,” Caballeron said, then pressed the button on the detonator in his hands. Another explosion happened, and he and his minions escaped the temple that was about to come crumbling down. “Good luck finding the way out!”
Daring Do was now trapped inside, the ground shaking under her, pillars supporting the temple crumbled into pebbles, and big pieces of rock began to fall. She tried to find a way to escape while also trying not to die from the falling rubble.
“I wish there was an exit out of this place…” She said. The ring on her finger began to glow, and the walls that were behind the ring’s resting place split open. She quickly made her way to the exit, for the temple had become completely ruined.
The exit brought Daring Do to a cave entrance, where she took a moment to catch her breath. “Where…where did that…exit come from…?” She said, out of breath.
“It is what you wish for.”
The random voice out of nowhere somewhat startled Daring Do. She looked around to see who that was from, but couldn’t find anybody. “Uh, who said that…?” She wondered.
“Look at the ring that is placed on your finger,” The voice commanded. Daring Do looked at the ring and saw the ring glow, “Now, rub the ring, and I shall be summoned.”
The adventurer did so, and to her surprise, a puff of smoke appeared on the ring, then grew bigger and bigger. When the smoke cleared, a female human figure appeared out of it. She had long pink hair, golden earrings, and Arabic clothing.
“Who the heck are you?” Daring Do asked.
“My name is Shahra, the genie of the ring,” The girl said, “I must thank you for awakening me from my millennia-old slumber.”
“Wait, did you say you’re a genie?” Daring asked, “And if I recall, genies can grant wishes…So when I wished to escape the temple, you helped me?”
“You are correct, it is my job to grant my master’s wishes after all,” Shahra replied, “Tell me, what is your name?”
“The name’s Daring Do: the adventuress that dares!” She replied, “I’m on a mission to search for the seven Elemental Rings. I thought I would get some sort of clue on where they are by searching this temple, but thanks to Caballeron, that’s in the gutter now…”
“Do not be dismayed, for there was nothing valuable in my resting place,” Shahra said, “It was only me, and that ring you are now wearing.”
Daring Do was now confused. How come the temple only had the genie and the ring, and nothing else in it? “That temple was nothing more than a prison for me…” Shahra said with sadness in her voice.
“A prison? Who would do something like that to you?” Daring Do questioned.
“A genie who is more powerful than I…he sealed me within that ring for thousands of years and refused to let me out…” Shahra said, “He goes by the name…Erazor Djinn: The genie of the lamp.”
Now, if Daring Do wasn’t surprised she was talking to an actual genie, she would be surprised that she knows there was another one that exists. “Fortunately for me, he was also sealed in that lamp, and that artifact has yet to be uncovered. But if by any chance he awakens once more, we must find the Elemental Rings before he does, or else he’ll turn into an unstoppable monster…”
“I see. Well, in that case, he’s gonna have to try, ‘cause we’ll find them first!” Daring Do smirked. She pulled out a map that marked different temples and areas, “I guess the first place we can go to is the Thunder Temple. That Lightning Ring has to be somewhere there.”
Daring began to make her way to the first Elemental Temple, but instead of going alone, she had a companion with her. Shahra flew by, grateful to be out of the ring’s prison.

Meanwhile, Dr. Caballeron and his minions were at their campsite, looking upon a crystal sphere with a dark vortex in it. “We managed to destroy the temple that had that dumb ring in it, along with a little pest of ours. Now, how’s that promise of unlimited treasure from you coming along?”
“Fools! I can still sense that weak genie’s heartbeat! You have done nothing!” The figure in the crystal shouted, making Caballeron and his minions flinch and confused, “Since you couldn’t destroy that ring, make yourself useful and present me the Elemental Rings, and I will present you with the gold you seek.”
Past the crystal was a big male figure, colored in purple skin, long pointy hair, and male Arabic clothing. He was sitting on a throne in the middle of a palace, with his dark eyes reflected in the glass. The man disconnected from his chat with the men and magically switched to viewing Shahra and Daring Do.
“My, my, Shahra…” The man said, “You continue to be a pest, like you were a thousand years ago…”
He then noticed Daring Do accompanying her, which was a little surprising to him. “And you decided to team up with a human of all things to find those rings…you are nothing but a nuisance to me…!” He growled and magically made the crystal disappear. “If those pathetic slaves couldn’t kill Shahra, then I’ll do it myself…”
The figure disappeared in a big and thick smoke. Whoever this man was wasn’t fond of Shahra for some reason, and was ready to make her regret being released from her jewelry prison…
