In the year of our lord 1894 a group of induvials consisting of myself, Jonathan and Willamina Harker, Arthur Holmwood, Dr. John Seward and the brave Quincey Morris came together to defeat the vampire Count Vlad Dracula. A year later we decided to form a group to deter anything like that to happen again, so we founded The Van Helsing Society, a group of individuals dedicated to protecting the world from supernatural threats. It is currently the year 1899 and a dawning of a new century approaches I have found need to create a handbook for our members to always follow and keep with them. This book details the various humanoid species of this earth and how they relate. Written by myself with contributions from other members and translated by my son, as my grasp on the English language is still very chaotic. I very much hope this volume is informative and sheds some light in what lies in the dark.
