Chapter 1: PART ONE: TO THE MUTANT ANIMAL GUYS GO THE SPOILS

Chapter Text

It is common knowledge that in the deep dark woods surrounding Front City, there are ravenous packs of feral beasts, some up to 6 feet tall. These creatures are ferocious, violent, unstoppable killing machines with an INSATIABLE thirst for cheez its, and whatever other snack an unfortunate hiker may be carrying.

Here, we begin our story with a group of three such creatures: a goat named Tymber, an opossum named Spunk, and a coyote named Paizlee. It’s around lunch time, and these three are absolutely starving. Fortunately, there’s a hiker who obviously hasn’t heard the legends about what waits in the shadows here (a group of very large animal teenagers.)

Silently, Tymber flicks her tail, signaling Spunk to jump out onto the path in front of the hiker. Seeing her signal, he springs from the bushes, makes eye contact with the hiker, and then very dramatically “dies” in front of the horrified hiker. Paizlee takes advantage of this distraction, and swiftly reaches into his backpack, grabbing every snack she can get her paws on.

Unfortunately for him, the hiker notices, and turns around to see what’s happening. This is his crucial mistake: NEVER turn your back on Front City woods animals. Tymber whips off her bandana and pulls it over the now very disoriented hiker’s eyes. He screams, stumbles and falls to the ground, leaving the gang of mutant animal teenagers to make their escape with all of his snack foods.
