Summary:
In which Napoleon is there for Illya. This piece uses a new combination of techniques for me.

Chapter 1: Digital Pen
Summary:
This is the main image.

Notes:
To create this piece, I made a rough photo manipulation, then traced it using a digital pen and tablet. Next, I deleted the manip, leaving only the tracings. Finally, I applied some virtual ink washes, also with the digital pen.
(I also added a couple of fictions not in the manip, notably Illya's right sleeve.)
The painting Napoleon and Illya are sitting in front of is "Deer in the Monastery Garden" by Franz Marc, a German expressionist artist.
