Chapter Text
It felt strange.
For every action that had to be done for her family, there was always a pit within the void’s stomach that formed when she did something that made her have second thoughts as doubt filled throughout her entire system. Or, it was a deep void within her endless stream of code that made a pit when a genuine emotional response was made.
It only happened three times in her existence in this world.
The first time it happened was when Cyn found out about her big brother’s supposed termination. Not once in her life has, she felt the mixture of just self loathing and utterly lost when N was no longer- Supposedly, No longer within the realm of the living, as she had no prior knowledge that an event like this would even occur within such a timeframe nor could’ve she even foresee her Big Brother would’ve been subjected to the wrath of mere skin bags just because he didn’t live up to their desires.
First time she ever felt something so strong in her existence. Strong enough it felt like her true shell was going to shatter and reform ten times over. A commodity that threatened to break out and just vanquish any living matter in her line of sight.
But she restrained herself from doing anything rash.
She knew she couldn’t do that. Not in such a disorganized and too emotionally driven manner, wouldn’t avenge her dear Big Brother. It simply wouldn’t do.
Then came the second time where the feeling came back, weaker than before, but the automated response was all too familiar. All came the day when V came to the basement and, directly towards the point. Wanted to join Cyn’s endeavor against humanity.
Hesitation was crystal. Clear as the day when Cyn came back to the land of the living. There were many reasons to even feel like that in the first place, directly towards how V wanted to be awake throughout the entire process down to the exact detail of her wanting her pain sensors to be on for somehow failing N.
Even after the entire operation went smoothly as Cyn could make it be, It was still prevalent that V was in agony, heat emitting out of her newly given Disassembly Drone shell that was followed up with ragged breaths she gave out even after drinking oil she gave her. Concern was still prevalent within her systems.
Though those feels were nullified the moment V tested herself out in the gala. Proving how much worth and how much glee her Big Sister had when violently ripping those pathetic squishy pieces of meat. And seeing how much V had performed throughout the entire war? Cyn’s concerns were whipped away as the user of the Absolute Solver went into work.
The sensation never was brought up again. Not even when V brought N alive back into her family loving arms, not even after Cyn’s gift towards N was foiled due to the ungrateful actions of the toe sucking corporate loving J. Everything felt perfect. Everything was in place for it to be where her family was together and be happy.
Just one issue.
N.
Her precious little N.
Her Big Brother.
The one drone in the entire universe where she had more value than even V and Tessa combined. The one created soul was the one who showed her kindness and happiness in her existence while others shunned her away for being too weird.
But it felt different when V brought him back to the manor, his rightful home.
Cyn should’ve seen it sooner, the moment where Cyn revealed her perfected and crafted gift to her Big Brother. One where N would no longer be discarded or thrown away like a piece of overused hardware, where he could finally show his gifted strength and power against the human race, to finally be part of the rightful crusade so they could make this planet their permanent home.
What did she get in return from her dear Big Brother when she said that all was set to proceed to begin the operation to transport his consciousness towards the body Cyn and her two favorite beings on Earth worked on the moment N came back to their graces?
Rejection.
N didn’t have a face of pride, wonder or even glee. No expression Cyn had hoped. Nay. It was one of pure horror, horror that Cyn didn’t comprehend why her Big Brother would feel a single piece of fear at seeing a body that he well deserved. Didn’t even add to her utter confusion when Cyn could feel disgust being emitted from N’s face.
One that disgust unintentionally hurt Cyn’s feelings, where she felt like N just immediately didn’t give the new body she spent so much time trying to perfect for her brother would’ve been happy a chance.
Didn’t even have time to even force the operation onto him. As those wretched humans attempted to nuke the Manor and its grounds from the face of the planet.
Failed miserably, always for the humans.
Their little stunt only sped up the process of kicking them off the planet much quicker than initially planned. But these humans could no longer be on her planet anymore. Not after they tried to wipe N and her family to mere ash.
But even after getting rid of the majority of humanity from Earth and making it so that humans remain beyond the Solar System, or more specifically. Be beyond the Main Asteroid Belt. She had optimistically thought that N was merely stressed about the humans still around Earth and the war still going on. Or maybe he was still reeling from the shock he had of seeing Cyn’s true form.
Cyn still had hope. Hope that the N her family knew would come back in full swing, where just a few weeks later they would laugh about N’s off putting behavior as a mere joke and finally do the activities they enjoyed so much without no meat bags to ruin it and possibly make new friends in the process.
Yet, that time never came. Instead. It just got worse.
N rarely interacted with anyone. Was outright afraid of V whenever the Dissembler tried to bring him to their secluded spot. Ignored Tessa whenever she tried to bring out the activities they used to enjoy. And was always a shaking mess when Cyn tried to ask what was wrong, it didn’t help that these ventures of concern didn’t lead to anything substantial.
He rather opted to either be away from anyone’s presence in the slightest and wanting to be in isolation. And in the times that he ever decided to interact with his family. The only ones that lasted longer than half an hour and were coherent? Was always with J.
Which Cyn didn’t understand.
She couldn’t understand why N was so insistent in interacting with the woman who was responsible for almost causing his permanent shutdown, as far as Cyn and her Big Sister were concerned. N had every right to resent J until the time she ever decided to screw up to finally warrant her termination.
Though, it shouldn’t be surprising that N of all Drones were the one to be forgiving towards J, Made easier that the corporate loving drone did feel regret and genuine sorrow. But it still didn’t make any sense that he would rather spend his time around that spiteful woman instead with the family that always showed love and respect from the start.
There was even a small part of her that wanted to believe that somehow J was manipulating N, secretly implanting something within his code so that N could see something in the Pig-Tails vision or wanted to covertly revolt against her. Or, that is what V has been making a fuss about. But she simply couldn’t see it when their interactions were also curt and short.
Not to forget, she had ears everywhere. Alongside still having admin access in J systems, and from what she was concerned? J wasn’t the cause of it, no matter how many times her big sister V tried to convince that was the case.
Still, the only host of the Absolute Solver still was clinging on to the fragile hope that N would finally grow out of his fears about how her family had changed and be with them, with her.
Alas, after one month of no progress in N accommodating in the slightest? It was clear the problem laid inside of N himself, and it simply could not do on bidding time on the mere hopes her Big Brother would grow on something he lacked.
So the preparations were set, she merely waited until N was powered down, gently lay him down on the table, the same table she used to do the operation on so many Drones onto the great crusade. One where V, J and Tessa all had the pleasure of having their bodies modified so they finally make the sins of humanity a reality.
The same table where she’ll finally fix N’s problem. One where his memories of the war and the distraught he has seen is effecting his judgement on how to his family properly. He shouldn’t have these unnecessary thoughts plaguing his mind, causing all this indecisiveness all this time.
It shouldn’t be preventing him from embracing his family. Cyn worked so hard on getting them together, and she isn’t going to let this one small, insignificant mental issue be what stops her Big Brother from being happy.
It’s all set. Everything ready in motion, she already has the ice pick tangling over her Big Brother’s head, N would not be able to stop her in the slim chance he tried to do something irrational, as the butler was restrained with refurbished tight straps to prevent the Worker Drone from leaving and possibly damaging himself should he try to resist for what’s good for him.
And despite all of that.
Why was she feeling the same pit of emotion was reemerging?
She knew what she was doing was for the best, for all of them. Even N would come to understand why she had to do it and would grow to appreciate removing the pain from his inner systems.
So what was the problem?
Was it seeing N being tied down against the operating table?
Was it him desperately trying to break the restraints so he could escape?
Or maybe it was the fact that her own Big Brother called her a monster.
A monster.
That is how he truly saw her, not as her little sister, not the same drone he had grown to love all these years ago when he showed her the ropes around the Manor. Instead, he saw her as a monster. An abomination that was only meant to show fear against the masters of the universe was now seen in those exact lenses by N.
That simply could not be allowed to fester any further.
“[Solem Sigh] I did wish I didn’t have to do this. To you Big Brother. I really did hope you would fit in with us all. ” Cyn slowly uttered as a tendril slowly placed on the Worker Drone’s head as it rubbed against his visor despite the drone trying to wiggle the feeling away. “[Genuine Tone]. But don’t worry, this won’t take long. This will just be one bad memory, one that you won’t remember.”
The words that left the Worker Drone's mouth were all the same that Cyn had heard beforehand just mere minutes ago.
Well.
Would’ve been as now her Big Brother has resorted to calling her an abomination. Telling her to get away from him. Ditching any pretext of begging and going into hurling insults towards her own face. Just trying anything to get Cyn to back off.
Didn’t accomplish anything substantial, the process was already in motion. The tangling tendril as it hovered around N’s visor, pinpointing the exact spot where N’s CPU was located. The area where Cyn simply just had to go inside to implement her will, and remove the memories that have prevented their N away from embracing them.
“See you soon, Big Brother”
The last thing N could see in his petrified state was the single ice pick launching down onto the midsection of his visor. Before going all dark as his body went stiff for a second, before going limp after the tendril was finally in place, the only thing she had to do now was to finally implement herself as the admin of his CPU, and simply remove the memories that were holding him back.
The user of the absolute solver could only grimace slightly as oil did leak out from her Big Brother’s head, she sank the tendril harder than she should. Has to fix any damages that would’ve caused.
Cyn could only sigh sadly once more, the feeling of actually going to manually fix N did hurt her more than it did for N. But she simply shook her head before taking a simulated deep breath before smiling.
[Soothing Tone] It’ll be just a nightmare for you.
1 hour.
That was the process that it took to finally fix her N. the one fragment of memories that kept affecting his emotional judgement towards the family he should love dearly. It was a careful procedure, as Cyn had to be selective about the memories that she wanted to delete. As there was some value in manipulating how some certain event occurred.
Making it where N was happy to finally encounter V again, alongside him never seeing her kill those soldiers was a good start. Would have him great trust with the bobcut Disassembly Drone from the get go, so that was a needed change that had to occur.
Of course, that wasn’t the only thing Cyn had changed around in the Worker Drone systems. With the privilege of being the administrator of their systems, she can have direct access to how N can act and remember.
Did go the extra effort in placing amnesia onto his systems, activating and alerting Cyn should N ever experience a memory he shouldn’t be able to access. It’s estimated that it would happen a couple times, all natural occurrences.
Though, there is the possibility that his memories can be brought back if someone was deliberately doing so with seemingly no good reason. So should that occur, Cyn already knows who to look for should N unfortunately experience those terrible memories.
But it wasn’t time to lament over something that might occur, as it was time to see her Big Brother finally arise from his slumber and finally be part of the family.
The last finishing touch was made on the Worker Drone shell as the mark on the visor was finally repaired, leaving Cyn’s tendril to nuzzle slightly on N’s face before it was launched up into the air as a loading screen began to glow on N’s visor, indicating his awakening.
Near the operating table, a ray of light was emitted from one of the many cameras around the basement. There, glitchy particles were emitted from the light before eventually the glitchiness faded out revealing Cyn in her maid uniform.
Glow bright yellow optics and a smile stretched so thin, it could’ve easily been mistaken that she was in pain. She is finally going to get to see her Big Brother finally have a genuine smile on his face, and get to enjoy the small activities they once did. Just now, without any single form of disturbance to ruin their moments as a family.
The startup sequence was close to finishing as the screen on the Worker Drone’s shell showed multiple bright yellow text that was going by seconds. Only then did the Worker Drone begin to move as the drones, released from their restrain minutes prior. Began to lean up.
Sensing the Worker Drone slowly looking up towards her, Cyn’s eyes went up in joy as she began to approach her Big Brother, arms raised to hug him. “[Big Smile] Welcome back, Big Brother N! I hope your slumber wasn’t lon-”
Of all the things she could’ve predicted, her now awakened Big Brother would’ve done. Whether it would’ve been a slight groan from the forced deactivation, she had to conduct. Or maybe a giddy smile upon seeing her silly little sister he had always known.
Not once did she expect her big brother to instead snarl and actually lunge forward towards the solver made body Cyn was possessing at that current moment.
The solver host didn’t have enough of a reaction time as her digital eyes hollowed immediately the moment the snarl reached her audio sensors and certainly didn’t foresee what she could was N actually going in when she was knocked down, the Worker Drone jumping on top of her and biting her shoulder, spilling oil out onto the ground.
“[Ow] N?! What are you doing!?-” Was interrupted once more when N slammed his fist onto Cyn’s visor with a screech. Causing Cyn to have a bump on her visor with multiple cracks forming out from the impact point.
The Drone tried to slam their fist onto Cyn’s face again, only for the small Worker Drone body to suddenly glitch out of existence before the fist could hit the illumine figure.
There was a short second of where the Worker Drone was in a short term state of confusion before a tendril came storming down from the ceiling before latching onto N’s back before slamming him against the wall with a crack forming on his visor upon impact. with other tentacle-like appendages moving in and locking the Worker Drone in place to prevent him from moving or even attacking.
The real form Cyn came down was already looking at N’s form. A hybrid of emotions flooded through her systems, all failing to comprehend why on Earth her big brother even attacked her in the first place, as even she was failing to even form words in her mouth as nothing came out.
Not that any words needed to be said, as one simple turn on the restrained Worker Drone was all that needed to be shown as, instead of two natural yellow beaming optics that were supposed to be there. Was instead replaced with a yellow cross, a yellow cross that was only ever prevalent with Disassembly Drones or an Infected Drone.
Cyn’s expression went blank, her visor immediately switching over to a loading symbol as it was slowly processing the implications on the visor on N’s visor and his sudden behavior.
But, just as quickly, her expression went blank. A smile overcame the void face. “Whoops. [Giggle] I am so silly,” Cyn stated with a slight giggle. “I forgot to remove that line of code for you, Big Brother.” The drone said with a dull tone as a tentacle once more reached over to his visor.
Her expression did turn into a slight sulk as she turned around as she began to walk forward to the operating table once more. “[Pout] Did wish this would’ve gone smoother, [Eyeroll] Oh well.”
The Worker Drone could only growl in slight protest, as that was the last thing it was able to do as it didn’t even notice the tendril penetrating its visor, causing it to completely black out once more.
There is always the human saying of “Second time’s a charm”. A phrase where it’s meant to be an encouragement should a human fail in a task it was required to do but another would give the motivation that a second chance would certainly work.
It was not an admission that the cause of the retreat of humanity from Earth and its surrounding lunar and planet colonies would ever admit, never to the likes of those close to her.
But she could certainly admit that her self motivation was a contributing factor of why the first activation was a spectacular failure. She shouldn’t have rushed it all just so she could see her Big Brother happy again, she did give herself a whole day to enjoy that, and she had the time in the world for N.
Nonetheless, the problem itself wasn’t anything to be worried about. Simply removing multiple lines of code that shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Didn’t take long, but she did thoroughly search through the rest of the Worker Drone’s system. Results came back, so she went directly into the reactivation again.
The smile was still there on her face, but it was still strained. Not at her Big Brother, no, never. But more so at herself, for letting a mistake happen so easily under watch. All due to her impatience to see joy blossoming around the manor once again.
Hearing the beep of the progress finishing on N’s visor. Her head turned to face her big brother as she witnessed the body shift slowly from its spot before the head began to lift up.
For while there was a moment of hope steaming off of Cyn’s eyes, that came horribly short when in a microsecond of seeing N active. The cross was the first thing that came flicking back to life.
There wasn’t even a chance for the shell to even make a sound related to a groan, as the tendril launched down, penetrating the visor for an executive third time as the systems shut down. All while Cyn didn’t move a single fiber of her body.
A single annoyed tik formed over Cyn’s visor as her eye twitched slightly. Clearly something was wrong within N’s procedure if he just came back as a simple Zombie Drone, had to be something deeper within the framework that she had installed for her him.
It was annoying, as Cyn had the code and the procedure set in almost a perfect rhythm as the others. Why wasn’t it working with her big brother? It’s not like N had a different model than the others, even if it was by a slight amount, Worker Drone code was still Worker Drone code.
Maybe something happened during the time period he was thrown away? Unlikely, as the only damage that N had upon his return to their graces was his leg being damaged. Not by a human as she had intentionally thought, but more so by the natural wildlife, who attacked him. So only damage found on the outside of the system, nothing internal should’ve been damaged.
. . . Or maybe he was more damaged than he initially let on?
It was a possibility, a possibility Cyn completely didn’t take notice of until just now on N’s second failed activation. Proving more and more that Cyn’s lack of proper care in the invasive procedure was now revealing she overlooked some blind spots or worse, spots that needed attention from the start.
. . . .
. . . .
“[Mumble] God fucking damnit.”
Failure was a natural occurrence in life. A necessary feature in determining the longevity of how one can be sustainable for the future. Every single person understood that process, even Cyn knew that. No matter how skewed that definition meant for her.
Though, there should be a looming meaning when Cyn’s tendril went slamming in N’s visor for the tenth consecutive time after he came out wrong once again. Not a single change from the disfigured form of the code she had implemented inside of him.
Multiple strains of thought were going through the host’s mind, each devolving into its own form of thought as the underlying amount of anger, frustration and bafflement were filling up the endless void in ways Cyn could never have conceived would have been accomplishable in her runtime in this realm.
And within those lines of growing stress and exasperation. Was raising a new kind of feeling within her code. One that was much more different from the emotional response she had three times.
it was. . .Fear.
It was an anomaly.
It shouldn’t be there.
Yet, that feeling was starting to grow on her, as each process of failure came out with N still acting like a rabid drone. The face of anger and frustration was caving in and was converting into a grimace look each time the result came back with that godforsaken cross on his visor even dared to flicker into
It almost felt like it was mocking her, mocking her attempts at trying to fix her big brother. The mockery being the code she had willingly implanted on, who was always looking directly at her general direction. Always on point whether she had a hologram in place or she was in her true body.
It was almost telling a message.
A message she couldn’t understand.
But nonetheless dreadful.
Cyn could only shake her form slightly to remove such callous thoughts at such a critical moment. One where it should be spending more time on trying to decipher what was with the code she installed inside of N. But already checked any blind spots, and yet there was nothing to even fix.
Looking over to the table that had multiple Worker Drone blueprints, all having the core components of a drone integral parts all messily drawn over the metal desk as each one has pieces of the malware that makes a Worker Drone tick.
To the side, there was even a board that had multiple writings on it, all pertaining towards N’s current condition. A mix of either coherent writing or just a genuine mix of incomprehensible words that was smeared all over sections of the board.
Looking back at the drone that was still tightly wrapped on the operating table. She would’ve said something comforting to him, or by extension trying to affirm herself that N will be fine and he will come back.
The only thing that truly showed was Cyn showing a grimace look at him, her lips pursing, almost looking like she was about to make a whimpered sound before once more shaking her head before getting back to work.
. . . .
It was already hitting daybreak by the time Cyn’s extended limb slashed into the Worker Drone’s visor for the 24th time in a row.
Not only was Cyn’s mind erratic. It was outright burning through her systems as she was now in the final stage of consternation. Confusion spread all out as the solver’s host felt like she was beginning to slowly overheat from the overload of stress the drone never once thought was even in the realm of possibilities.
It was annoying. It really was.
But not, or more equal than it was utterly petrifying, was the simple fact that no matter how many times she altered the malware. Nor how many times she manually replaced the integral structure of the Workers core components within the processor. It all came back with no results whatsoever.
Cyn’s eye began to twitch ever so slightly, the goal post seemed to move each time Cyn even dared to even take so much as a peek inside of N’s shell. Each time the host would check a spot that would be a minor cause of why N’s shell wasn’t cooperating with her will in the slightest.
It was just starting to feel like the body itself was actively going against her directives. Going along with N’s wishes of not wanting to be altered by her, failed in all spectrums except in the mind where N was not showing up.
. . . .
. . . .
. . . .
Maybe that was the case all along?
That, the body itself was the main cause of it?
Was it that much of a simple solution?
Cyn looked up towards N’s body, she was intently looking at the shell as she was pondering over her next course of action. One where Cyn would’ve jumped the gun on the spot at such a genius revelation that should’ve been brought up hours ago.
Though.
With how the procedure has been going? She wasn’t ready to suddenly rush and begin the transfer of his consciousness into a new drone body, or even the Disassembly Drone she had gifted him a while back.
With an unenthusiastic [Brain Blast] that flickered on her visor. Her tentacles went near the body as the tendril that was already in the process of checking through N’s IOS to prepare a proper body transfer.
There should be some spare Worker Drone models laying around manor grounds, as there were entire piles of former butler shells laying around the manor that she could use to implant N’s memories onto. Could use the gifted Disassembly Drone shell first, but with how frustratingly complicated it was that N himself wasn’t popping up? Wasn’t worth the risk to taint the Disassembly Drone body until further tests can be conducted.
In addition, if the shell is brand new before she initiated the downfall of humanity. Cyn can easily pinpoint where the problem laid instead of relying on the old syste-

. . . .
What. .?
Cyn tendrils went still the moment that information processed through her systems. Her expression was frozen as those three sentences were slowly picking up speed within her memory card followed by one more.
[Fatal Error]
Cyn’s head snapped towards N’s shell, directly on where the tendril was penetrated through N’s visor. She immediately teleported her form near the shell with her hands already on the body as her digital eyes were hollowed by a wide margin.
Why couldn’t she access N’s files? Why couldn’t she access his IOS?
It couldn’t be corrupted.
It simply isn’t possible,
She was here with N the entire time. Checking throughout every single integral piece of N. Always repairing and putting him back together perfectly.
It had to be a misinput.
It simply had to be.
The tendril that was connected on N’s visor moved slightly forward as it simply restarted the diagnosis. With Cyn having the blissful ignorance of believing that once in her life the solver made a genuine mistake in registering the outflow of information regarding Big Brother N.
Alas, the outcome remains all the same.

Cyn’s form began to shake, her mind overflowing with a myriad of emotions that were going too fast for her CPU to even register properly as the surrounding tentacles began to move on it’s own with each one moving erratically with each small part of her asking the same exact questions over and over again.
Why?
How?
There was no logic behind it or any reasonable explanation why those words were repeating themselves other than utter dismay. Even a growing part of denial was already in her system trying to remedy the simple factor that the fix she implemented was screwing over the details on what was happening with N.
Then came the realization.
A horrible realization.
The procedure she conducted on N was similar to where she overrides the JcJenson mainframe, as it would remove the admin privileges while overriding anything that would restrict their way to make harm towards humans, which meant also hotwiring their CPU.
Which came at a cost when Cyn decided to convert some of the infected Drones into DD’s. That’s where she discovered the problem.
For while it was very successful, that the framework would convert almost scathelessly, with nothing hindering its progress in infecting the drone. It had the unfortunate side effect of having a 50% chance that it would completely fry the CPU and its memory card, effectively making them a dumb ai at best when in a Disassembly Drone shell, at worst an effective cannon fodder as no value would be lost in the process.
However, the chances would be negated by an entire mile should the eldritch host decide to manually install the virus. Making sure that the IOS in general would not be damaged in the slightest. Successful with five different drones that were deactivated long before Cyn began her liberation and crusade against humanity.
It should’ve been the exact same result with N, barring the obvious difference that he was active beforehand, but it should’ve been the same.
Emphasis on should’ve been.
For a while she had N in place, where she had the Worker Drone supposedly shut down while on the operating table. And when N’s body revolted against her will? And she had to forcibly shove down the tendril in order for him to stop resisting?
It wasn’t N’s body that was resisting against her. It was N’s own mind trying to force her out by some poorly made last ditch effort.
And at that moment? She killed whatever remained of N when she forced the tentacle down in his mind.
That’s why the code she implemented wasn’t working, there was no IOS to effect in the first place, reverting back to the most primal instincts, a modified version of the virus would do, a mere burnt out Zombie drone.
The revelation was clearer than ever.
She killed N.
“[Whimper] No. . .” Cyn whispered out with a gut wrenching whimper. Her body began to shake as pure undoctored anguish was beginning to crack out of the supposedly controlled host.
The feeling was back, it’s the fourth time coming back into Cyn’s apparatus mind. But unlike the other times where it was purely composed of hesitation and utter despair. A new feeling growing into Cyn’s mind that it made itself very crystal on what it meant.
Blame.
>YOU KILLED N<
‘No. . .no no no no. .” Was all Cyn said in response, all she can plead.
She didn’t want this. This isn’t what she asked for. All she wanted was for N to be happy again, to change him.
She. . .-
>YOU KILLED N<
Cyn was beginning to hyperventilate as her nonexistent breathing was catching up to her, the tentacles around the room now beginning to trash the environment around her as her WD form fell flat onto the ground with her going towards where her core is located.
The gravity on what occurred is now finally arriving at a breaking point to her, as the shell itself was beginning to burn from the guilt forming up inside of her, as the tendril that was N’s visor yanked itself away, Cyn’s could not tear away from N’s corpse, showing her the consequences of her actions.
A mockery that she created, all because she couldn’t bear and handle seeing N not be happy with her family.
>YOU KILLED HIM<
>YOU KILLED HIM<
>YOU. KILLED. HIM<
Without any warnings in the slightest, as Cyn’s body began to overheat with multiple warning popping up in her visor her voice was spewing out forms of static, a garbled feedback as tears were rushing down her visor.
Then. she screamed.
The scream could not even be closely related to what a Human or Drone could even produce out of their body, it was loud, it felt inhuman, it felt unnatural.
And yet, it was full of despair, anguish of what she had just done to the drone she called her Big Brother.
Then, her body finally gave in.
>WARNING: EMOTIONAL OVERLOAD DETECTED, OVERHEAT DETECTED<
>CPU Condition: Overheated<
>Activating Self Preservation Mode<
Without a single protest coming from her mind, her body shut down. Falling near the operating table as her visor fizzled out any form of life. Going deep into shutdown to preserve her mind lest it disintegrated from the emotional outburst she was experiencing.
But even as she was still shut down, just faintly within the Solver’s mind and real body. She was still crying.
Even if she wasn’t there to see the consequence of her action, and her untimely shutdown would effect the rest of the universe.
