I LOVE the Stargate worlds ideas you listed :D :D SO MUCH SO.

I can do some art for this, yes I can!!!

So here is that art :)

In my brain Zhao Yunlan figured a way out of the lantern and dragged Shen Wei with him. It goes something along the lines of Zhao Yunlan being Zhao Yunlan and testing the limits of the lantern and how far his soul can go.

Eventually he realizes there are other lights in the distance of the vastness of space and he's like: HMMM let's try to reach for them.

Unknowingly all the points of lights are gates that are near the lantern, because the lantern and all the hallows are also made from naquadah (am I spelling that right? I think I am LOLOLOL).

In-between all his testing his limits ZYL also realizes that Shen Wei is out there within the darkness too. A shadow that drapes itself around the lantern when it can, though he can only encircle the lamp for so long before the fire hurts him (a personal HC for this :)).

Once ZYL has SW's soul gathered up he makes the leap to the nearest gate which happens to be the SG-A gate and that's how they end up in their gate room.

When they have bodies again, ZYL is being carried by SW because he used all his reserves his soul had :D

Shen Wei holds an unconscious Zhao Yunlan in the SGA gateroom with the stargate behind them.

A brief cameo from Sheppard and McKay:

McKay: *makes grabby hands for the lantern* It gives off the same sort of readings as a ZPM, gimme.
Sheppard: You know maybe don't touch it until -
McKay: *too late he's touching it*
Sheppard: Dammit
